Dragon Age Inquisition - German Voice Cast and their characters (Some of my favorites <3)

Inspired by this post. You know me, I HAD to do one for the German cast as well! 😁 <3333

I saw you discussing Solas' German voice in the past (Am German myself and had a listen some months ago) and I just have to mention: While Solas' voice sounds... tolerable in German, Abelas voice is just unacceptable. 0/10 do not want to ever hear that one again. Why did they make him sound like that? Q___Q

Oh yeah 😂 As much as I like to defend the German voice cast in many cases, they definitely did Abelas dirty in German, especially when comparing him with the English VA, who has just such a great voice!

But another example of good casting has to be Iron Bull in my opinion! I honestly think it fits even better for him than Freddie Prinze Jr, because to me it always sounds like he's trying a little too hard to sound like a big, buff guy in English, whereas in German it just feels natural, since Ingo Albrecht IS actually a huge guy AND also the voice of none other than THE flippin Dwayne The Rock Johnson 😂

In general, I just appreciate the casting for almost all the companions in DA! There are very few companions who's voices I actually don't find fitting or even great (which I can't say for every Triple A game in German..) 🙂

That being said, Gareth David-Lloyd's performance can never be topped and the loss of the different accents sadly takes away some of the authenticity, but that's just something we have to live with in German.. :/

Either way, I'm so excited to see who's going to be cast for DA4! 😁
