Okay, I have to tell someone about this, and I think maybe you could understand it 😞✨.

There's this song, "Too Sweet" by Hozier, that for some reason ALWAYS REMINDS ME OF LOGAN!

There's every line that just reminds me of him, and it's an obsession 😭. Because I already liked the song before, but since I realized it fit Logan, I just can't stop imagining him everytime I hear this song.

What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?

Would That I by Hozier. It's not the only song of his that deals with break ups/new love that I have on my Gale playlist, but I think it's my favourite for him in a romanced playthrough. The imagery of the current love as fire setting wood to the tree of his past relationship pairs nicely with "With you I forget my goddess." The fact that it's nature imagery in general works well with Ophelia. I like to think of it as a controlled burn to help the forest flourish. To my knowledge it's not the exact intended meaning of the song, but it's what I get from it.

What's a headcanon you have for this character?

I don't go for six pack Gale, but I like to think he lost weight during his year in the tower and only starts to put it back on through the game and beyond.

What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

Gale is an incredibly sweet person whose flaws lead him to some pretty dark places. He is quite eager to help and make himself useful, whether it's making dinner or almost all of his greetings being some form of "how can I help?" whether you barely know each other or you're the love of his life.

I do think there's an ugly side to that. He doesn't do things just to make himself useful, but because he wants recognition. He wants to be thought of, to be remembered. There's a small section of A Study of Hands I enjoyed writing after his resurrection in Act 1, when he's glad to have caused Ophelia grief because it gives his life (and death) some semblance of meaning:

Ophelia’s face is a stone mask, aggressive in its impassivity. A trait he typically admires, and takes as good cause to heed her wise counsel, feels suddenly cruel. Unfair? Oh, most certainly. But a crueller part within him took heart when it saw how her eyes were puffed with tears. It wanted her to weep for him. It wanted to know he will be missed.

I think, as much as fear of a godless death motivates his suicide mission, he's also motivated by the desire to go out in such a way that he'll be remembered.

So like, is there something admirable in how he wants to be useful? That he wants to become a god to help people? Yes, but there is performance in it as well, and performances are done with the desire to be recognised. There's a selfish side to it that's a little ugly but very interesting!

And I think that darkness/pettiness is sometimes forgotten and that is what I don't like. Although reading back over what I wrote I think I mostly just wanted to talk about it rather than discuss its place in fandom.

How about a relationship they have in canon that you don't like?

Like with Solas, I like most of his relationships just fine. Do I think they're all good for him? No, but that's why I like them.

For example, I find his relationship with not just Mystra but Elminster a little questionable. I don't go with the interpretation that Gale met Mystra when he was still a child, but he does canonically know one of Mystra's Chosen from a young age (I don't want to look up the letter rn, but it was six or eight when he met Elminster). It's just a deeply weird situation. Mystra's Chosen are a little fucked. I'm not sure how much of it is intended canon (specifically on larian's part) and what was inherited from DND lore, but it's just like. You look at it and go "this is weird right???" because, well, it is weird.

While Elminster disagrees with her charge for Gale to die, he also won't really budge beyond that to any more meaningful criticisms of her. And while I think he's right that "fuck Mystra" is as deeply unwise a philosophy as listening to her in regards to her plan for the Orb, the particular line he spouts speaks to his own shortcomings as Chosen.

But like I said, I think it's interesting and wouldn't say I don't like it on a narrative level. I do wish it were more consistently written I guess?

ough this is hard. the secret meaning i made up for would that i is very much my year in a lot of ways. and i saw it live. and i love it so much. in an effort to not only talk about hozier's would that i, i'll say on the radio by regina spektor as well. you love until you don't you try until you can't, you know.

11. Something you want to do again next year?

line dancing at [location] if possible! that means i get to see many of my friends, including you, and also i loved it so much last time :] but i also want to swim laps at least in the summer again. see local theater and go to a dyke bar. go to MAINE i hope i can go to maine next year. decorate my apartment again. go on little walks. i'm sure i'm missing things but i think this is enough.

24. Did you keep any New Year’s Resolutions?

😬... unfortunately, this year was really hard for me. but i think i made a valiant attempt at all of them. the one i kept the Most was take a picture every day, which i did not do, but i did most days i think! which is all thanks to nicki who sends photos back and forth with me most days. but it was really fun trying to find something nice or cool or interesting or pretty that i saw every day. and even when i didn't send a photo but nicki did, it was nice to see a sunset or a cool building or a weird shirt or something :]

volcano is so crazy and han jisung is a brilliant songwriter facing his demons (his sexuality) (christianity) please allow me to speak on it

so first of all comparing "i see" to "volcano" makes me feel a little crazy because he was clearly feeling so unbelievably isolated back in 2017, whereas in 2023 he may have still been struggling a bit but he had reached a new place in his self acceptance. he had a companion there with him to make sure he didn't feel alone. i'm sick!!!

one thing i noticed is in "네가 흘린 상처들은 감싸 안을게" ("I'll embrace the wounds you shed") he says 흘린 상처, spilling or dropping wounds. he could mean 흘린 like still-bleeding wounds, or he could mean 흘린 in another common way which is like dropping a hint. i like that interpretation a lot personally, like he's saying "i'll tend the wounds you don't want to talk about" in a way.

ANYWAY! jisung is a christian, so him describing a lover as a sin is... well. to me, it's very direct. i don't think he's describing your typical cishet relationship here. of course, you could say that shakespeare used the phrase "gentle sin" in romeo and juliet, and obviously hozier uses it. in romeo and juliet, expressing their love for each other is a sin because of their families and also because of them not being married. for hozier, the "gentle sin" is referring to a gay relationship. i just don't think jisung is referring to a romeo and juliet kind of love here. he later says "너의 품, 나의 집, 나의 숨, 나의 신" ("your arms, my home, my breath, my God") which just reinforces the fact that this song is about religious turmoil…

''like a volcano, 손 닿으면 녹을 것 같은 온도의 love, 날 땅 밑 저 끝자락 네게 데려다줘" ("like a volcano, love at a temperature that can melt when touched, take me to you, way below to the end of the ground") i think this one is pretty self explanatory, but i think when he says "날 땅 밑 저 끝자락 네게 데려다줘" (which i'd translate kinda like "take me to you, way below the bottom of the earth") he's referring to going to hell. he's saying he's down for it, he's okay with going to hell for this love.

"수백 번 돌이킨다 해도 내 선택은 언제나" ("even if i go back hundreds of times my choice is always you") so this line is crazy to me because he makes a super unique grammar choice. the suffix at the end of the "go back" word is weird. the root verb is 돌다, and he conjugates it into 돌이킨다 which i've never seen before! i did a lot of digging around and didn't find it on any of my usual grammar sites or in my korean grammar textbook. the only places i found this -으키다 suffix used is in a biblical context, or something else super formal like law. (it's used to mean like, making something happen. like how the bible is all declarative right, like future-tense but omniscient.)

here's the passage that i saw first using this word, with the translation beside it:

now i'm no bible person or anything but man oh man is that passage referring to turning away from sin! which makes jisung's original line in this song translate more like "even if i turn away [from our sin] hundreds of times, my choice is always you" which makes it even more powerful to me. i wonder if any korean christians recognized this while listening?

anyway that's all i have to say. sorry if it made no sense i did my best. volcano is a good song. jisung has demons (christianity and homosexual proclivities) and i love him and i'm glad that he has someone to be by his side now.

Reedpaw shakes his head, and nuzzles his sister. "Feather," he meows softly. "I was safe. You weren't. If I'd had to make the decision for us, I'd have picked you over myself too. You weren't safe here. Tigerstar and Shadowclan didn't know I was Mistyfoot's kit. To be honest, I think they thought I was one of Skyheart's."

Featherpaw blinks at him, eyes wide and she whimpers. "But Reed...he could have killed you..."

"But he didn't. I'm still here--we're both still here. He failed. We're going to be okay, Feather. Let's go try that hawk Greystripe caught you and Stormpaw. I'll go rip off it's feathers for your nest."

y'know of course she feels guilty. she didn't know if he was alive or dead or worse than dead. and he looks alive and whole but -- that's not the same as being okay.

(The three of them sit by the river.

"Anyone want to bet on what our names will be?" Stormpaw asks, his tail flicking lazily.

Featherpaw snorts. "I've got loads of options. Hope she's creative about it."

Stormpaw flicks his ear. "Nah, she'll name you -- Featherheart, probably."

Featherpaw sighs. "I don't..." She shakes her head slightly. "Bet she names him Reedheart."

"I didn't do anything," he says. "Besides, we don't know what Leopardstar names cats like." He licks his paw, dragging it behind his ear. Mistyfoot would never let him forget it if he showed up to his own warrior ceremony ungroomed. "If it was Crookedstar, then it'd be easy. Stormfur, Featherpelt, and Reed..."

"Reedfoot," Stormpaw supplies. "No, he'd do Stormfur, Featherfoot, and Reedpelt."

Featherpaw snorts, and then giggles. Reedpaw purrs. It's nice to hear her laugh -- nice to just be around them again. "Well, I bet Firestar would name us..." She pauses. "I'm not sure, actually."

"He'd name you Featherheart," Stormpaw insists. "No question."

Reedpaw puts his head on his paws. He can't speculate on what Firestar would name them. Featherpaw catches his eye. "I'm glad we're all here, together," she says.

Reedpaw purrs.)

(He's still surprised that Leopardstar named Stormpaw Stormheart. But she had given him a tiny nod when she lifted her muzzle off his head, and Reedwhisker had decided to ask him about it as soon as their vigil ended.

"I feel okay," Feathertail whispers, flicking her tail impatiently.

Mistyfoot still looks worried, and she licks Feathertail's shoulder. "Sit between them, then, and if it gets colder--"

"She'll be fine," Stonefur calls. "Stop encouraging her to break vigil."

Feathertail's ears fold softly, and she sits next to Reedwhisker, beckoning Stormheart with her tail. They're supposed to sit at different places in camp, but even if Feathertail looks unimaginably better than when she left RiverClan, Reedwhisker knows she's still in recovery. He wraps his tail around her, watching the way the moonlight distorts on the river.

Reedwhisker thinks she falls asleep at some point, her head on his shoulder, but he doesn't wake her. She'll yell at him in the morning, but her breathing slows, and Stormheart licks her head, nodding at Reedwhisker. Best to let her sleep.

When the sun rises, Feathertail turns her face into his pelt, blinking blearily.

"Your vigil is over, you know," Stonefur says. "As soon as the sun hits the horizon. You better make sure Mistyfoot didn't assign you to any patrols."

He nudges them all gently, pushing them towards their den.

"Go get some sleep." He touches his nose to Feathertail's shoulder. "Proper sleep, that is."

"I was awake all night," she says, but her voice is still heavy from sleep, and Stonefur just purrs.)

and you know. i don't know. i think i just wanted to write siblings being together. whoops.

(They all have nightmares. It would feel like the set up to a joke, if they all have nightmares didn't mean Reedwhisker seeing blind panic in Mistyfoot's eyes, or Feathertail cowering in her own den, or Stormheart barely sleeping as he looks over the rest of them, making sure everyone is accounted for.

He's not really sure what his look like. He knows what they feel like, but he's pretty sure he's gotten good at shoving down his reactions. Waking Tawnypaw because he missed his mother would have gotten him killed. Now, he thinks he just doesn't want to disrupt anyone else's sleep.

Still, he finds Mistyfoot wrapping her tail around him, purring like he was a kit. He doesn't ask, but she still answers his question. "i'm your mother. Of course I know.")

hm. it appears i've swung to fluff bc i keep trying to do angst and i just. i don't know. appeal. i was writing the mistystar kills bramblestar during the "sexy slow" part of the playlist (it's called sexy because it's got songs like "take me to church" and "nfwmb" but specifically i was listening to "river" by bishop briggs), and now i'm in the "sad slow" part, but it's like. shrike by hozier. a song that makes me cry really easily but isn't that sad.

("I'm sorry," Reedwhisker says, dipping his head towards Feathertail. They haven't talked about it for a moon, but Leopardstar is kitting and Mistyfoot and Stonefur are with her and all he can think is, "If Tigerstar knew I was Mistyfoot's kit, he never would have treated you like that."

Feathertail scowls. "He would have just treated us both terribly, Reed. It wasn't like it was all that much better when Stonefur and Stormpaw were with us."

But they both know that's a lie.

"I'm still sorry," he says.)

there we go that's some proper angst. thank you "all of my goodness is gone with you now," which is The Line, of course, but -- it's such a good line. there are a lot of good lines, really. the whole song is good lines.

(The kits leave Leopardstar's den. She watches them anxiously, and Stonefur sits next to her.

Feathertail looks excited to see them, crouching in front of them and purring. Mistyfoot is watching Mudfur's den. He won't leave it, Reedwhisker doesn't think, because he barely does. Shadepelt visits him daily, but Reedwhisker can't bring himself to ask his previous mentor why.

"Frogkit, no!" Leopardstar cries, bolting forward. She grabs him by his scruff. "You can get closer to the water when you're older."

Stonefur pads forward slowly, giving Leopardstar space, but staying close to her side.

"He wasn't that close," she says softly, as Frogkit rejoins his siblings. "That was -- unnecessary."

"They don't know how to swim yet," Stonefur says. "Keeping them away from the river is reasonable."

Leopardstar makes a sound between a cry and a whimper. Too late, Reedwhisker realizes how private a moment he's witnessing.

"Do you want to take them back in?" Stonefur asks.

"I--" Leopardstar pauses. "We only just left."

"And I'm sure they're already tired." Stonefur watches Leopardstar carefully. His posture is soft and open, and Leopardstar brushes her tail against his.

"Let's go back," she says.

"Alright.")

(Stormheart wades in the water. Feathertail is helping teach Leopardstar's kits to swim. "I'll teach you too," she said, giggling, but Stormheart turned her down.

Reedwhisker stands with him now.

"It's strange," he says, "because when I'm in the water, it feels familiar. But as soon as I--"

Stormheart huffs in frustration. "I don't know. I'm a RiverClan warrior. This is supposed to be easy."

"Well, it's not," Reedwhisker says. "So, it's not. That's all there is to it."

Stormheart flicks his tail in frustration.

"Okay," Reedwhisker continues, "what's stopping you, then?"

"I can't--" Stormheart takes a shaky breath. "I keep thinking about -- slipping. That's why Featherpaw got caught. Because I slipped and Greystripe had to save me. And then I found Stonefur and..." He shake his head. "I just can't."

"So you don't," Reedwhisker says. "You don't need to swim to fish. And you can still jump out of camp, it's been a dry newleaf. So you don't, and we try again when you can."

Stormheart sighs, and Reedwhisker presses his temple against his brother's.

The thing about Hozier is that some of his lyrics are incredibly sapphic to me for some reason, I'm still trying to figure it out. NFWMB is one of the songs that feels like that to me. Don't know if you've heard it before but give it a try if you haven't. If you close your eyes it sounds like you're in an epic romantic story and there are swords, pretty gowns, and rooms lit by torches. Haha

The beginning of this song was inspired by a poem written by W.B Yeats called "The Second Coming" in 1920, and it talks about an apocalypse of sorts, alluding to all of the horrors men inflicted upon the world which ends up awakening this beast that goes to Jesus's place of birth in the Bible (Bethlehem) to be born. The last lines being:

"And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,

Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?"

So the song starts with:

"When I first saw you

The end was soon

To Bethlehem it slouched

And then, it must've caught a good look at you"

And oh boy do I think of Dani when I hear that. Especially bc of that scene where Viola accepts Dani's invitation to live inside her. And nobody knows why she accepts it (but I do!).

And yeah at first glance you might not think much of Dani. in the beginning she's just a tiny frail small-town girl with a lot of anxiety, running away from her past traumas. But she proves us wrong again and again and again. She moves to a country she's never been before entirely by herself, sees an opportunity, and doesn't let go of it even when it looks like it went wrong. Then is very loving and tender with these children who have gone through so much and are still going through so much. Tries to fight (with a fire poker!!) the threatening man that keeps harassing her, the children, and her friends. THEN manages to soften the angry, grumpy lesbian who's given up on people after A LOT of trauma (too much in my opinion) and doesn't give up on her when she rejects her either. Freaking exorcises her ex and makes him stop haunting her so she can be with the love of her life. And then finally as if all of that didn't make her the bravest hero in this story, she literally stops an apocalypse from happening and saves everyone from this beast by sacrificing herself without even thinking twice. Saves everyone that came before her and then the ones who'll come after for the rest of eternity. I mean the P-O-W-E-R this girl has. 💪 so hell yeah the lady in the lake wanted to take her.

When Hozier says:

"Ain't it a gentle sound, the rollin' in the graves?

Ain't it like thunder under earth, the sound it makes?

Ain't it exciting you, the rumble where you lay?

Ain't you my baby? ain't you my baby?"

I can only think of Dani at the bottom of the lake laying on top of all the bones of the people Viola killed and how she's at peace living forever in a dark place like that. That's kinda hardcore y'know?

After the first verses, Hozier goes on to talk abt his lover, someone so utterly terrifying even the beast of the end of the world can't stand to look at them. But this song is also about being proud to be this person's lover bc nothing can fuck with them, not bc you are there to protect them and wouldn't let anyone harm them, but bc they're more than capable of protecting themselves and you too. So in my head, this song is Jamie's declaration of love to Dani.

And then I think of Jamie's devotion to Dani when she said "If you can't feel anything, then I'll feel everything for the both of us." shown in this verse:

"If I was born as a blackthorn tree

I'd wanna be felled by you

Held by you

Fuel the pyre of your enemies"

And the fact that she took what she could get just to be with Dani. She knew she'd have to suffer for/bc of her at some point, but chose to be with her anyway. I have no doubts in my mind she'd want to be anything for her as long as they could be together in any way, shape, or form. In all the lives they happened to meet one another too.

Wouldn't it be cool to see them in an AU where Dani is like a medieval princess who's supposed to marry Edmund to form an alliance between kingdoms or something and Jamie is an assassin who is hired to kill the princess so she has to pretend to be Dani's personal guard or wtever but they fall in love and run away together and Jamie teaches her how to fight so Dani becomes this warrior but turns out Dani is naturally good at it and then she becomes a legend? Hahaha I can see her riding a horse in the winter with paint on her face and her blonde hair falling over this fur-lined cloak, fierce look on her face, and Jamie riding next to her (always). Then they come across Viola who's a witch and puts a curse on Dani and then Dani and Jamie have to travel to all sorts of places and fight all sorts of people and go on this whole adventure to rid Dani of this curse. Maybe Dani has to go back to her kingdom bc her father dies and there are other people trying to take her kingdom so there's a lot of angst and suffering but then they win at the end after a lot of sweat and tears and they live happily ever after! 😎Hahaha

Anyway, I hope you're having a great week so far and hope you had fun with your niece today! (I know if I was her and you had us make fudge and paint I'd worship you haha) I'm sorry for the very (very) long ask, but I've been obsessing over this idea for months and I just had to share it with someone! ✌️✨

I have heard some of Hozier's lyrics are quite sapphic and I always mean to look into more of his songs and then just never do but I will definitely look in to NFWMB because the lyrics you have sent me here are incredible and definitely give of Dani x Jamie vibes I definitely agree with you in everything you have said about why Viola accepted Dani's invitation- Dani and Viola are similar in some ways and this was something I was explaining to my niece when she watched it with me. I explained to her that both Viola and Dani are strong willed, and stubborn, and would do anything to fiercely protect the people they care about. We saw that time and time again with Dani, how within days of knowing Miles and Flora she was out with a fire poker trying to protect them from a strange man that she kept seeing around the manor. And how Viola would've done anything to protect her daughter. One major difference between them though is that Viola seemed to have a slight selfish streak where as Dani is entirely selfless, she was selfless for the longest time in even agreeing to marry Eddie so she wouldn't hurt him, she was selfless in protecting Miles and Flora, and even more selfless in saving Flora's life and freeing all the trapped spirits of Bly Manor and then she is selfless in the fact that she won't drag anyone down and won't hurt anyone else at Bly ever again. The one thing she did for herself was being with Jamie- and she was able to make Jamie open up and trust people in way she probably hadn't for the longest time. Dani is a truly strong person as was Viola and I can see why she would accept Dani's invitation. I will have to listen to this song to see it from a Jamie perspective which I will definitely do tomorrow but from the lyrics you have sent me I can definitely see it being a love declaration to Dani from Jamie. Jamie knew in the end she would suffer because she knew she wouldn't be able to keep Dani forever, and knew that one day she would have to leave her- but she knew loving Dani for as long as she was allowed to would be worth that pain in the end and Jamie is a truly strong person as well for knowing this and staying by Dani's side anyway when that must have been such a hard thing for Jamie to ever have to accept. Jamie would've been anything for Dani and would've one anything for her as Dani would've for Jamie and that's why I love them so much. They loved each other so purely and without conditions and so wholeheartedly and it really was such a lovely thing to watch play out in front of us (even if it did hurt us all at the end). I think it would be so cool to see an AU like that I think medieval stuff is always so fun and so interesting and a good enemies to lovers start never fails either because there's so much tension there between them. And Jamie being undercover as someone to get close to Dani and them slowly falling in love with each other would just be a great thing to see!! And I am all for warrior Dani and Jamie (women with weapons is a little bit of a weakness of mine)!! This whole AU just sounds incredible I love a good curse in fantasy stories and the curse slowly taking over and you thinking they're going to run out of time but everything works out in the end!! Dani going back to her kingdom because of her sick Dad dying would be great for angst because it would look

like she would have to marry someone to create an alliance and that she would have to take over a kingdom (perhaps something she never wanted to do in the first place)!! I think this could be a very angsty one shot and could be so interesting and fun and the happy ending would definitely make all the angst worth it in the end!! I am having a good week so far thank you and I had so much fun with my niece today, making fudge went great and she was happy that I was able to show her how to do it because she'd never made it before so now that's something she knows how to do (I think she thinks I'm way cooler than I actually am haha thank you for saying you'd worship me though if you were my niece haha 😂) but tomorrow she is teaching me how to do something because I taught her how to make fudge today... she's gonna teach me how to draw in an anime style- which is something she is really into and even though I'm not she loves drawing so I've asked if she can teach me since I taught her something today!! There's no need to apologise I loved this long angst and I loved this idea I think it's really great and interesting and that song just seems amazing and I am definitely gonna listen to it tomorrow when I get chance!! Well, besides his musical soundtracks, I think he’d listen to more of the softer stuff most of the time. He just got done with his Be More Chill phase. It’s on to the next one for him. And going through my stuff, I think he’d be into things like The Script. I think he’d like Panic! At the Disco as well. You know?

But he also has a hardcore hip hop side. Like, I can see him listening to ‘Tony Montana’ or ‘Change’ and rapping away while he’s taking a break from practicing his lines or muttering them under his breath while he works out 

yeah, I’m telling yall Hyun is a BTS stan but its the truth. One of his favorites is ‘Tomorrow’ 

Yoosung

This boy likes his happy music. I’m particularly fond of the thought that he likes Paradise Fears. It’s like one of those bands Rika showed him, but he fell into the hole that is that band on his own. His favorite song is ‘Next to You’. He also likes his video game soundtracks that he uses for noise around the house. 

But the boy has his sad tunes too. Theses sad songs vary from a lot of things. He’s most fond of ‘Forgiveness’ by Paramore right now, though.

Part of me thinks Yoosung would be a huge JBJ stan, its cute. He kind of came across them one day, ignored them, but then fell in love with their music randomly. 

Jaehee

Kang Jaehee also has her musical playlists. Her favorite thing right now is both ‘No One Else’(tgc) and also ���Days and Days’(fun home). She’s also pretty fond of ‘Trina’s Song’(falsettos)

She also likes Paramore! She’s the one who showed Yoosung that song. It’s most of her midday pickup jams. Especially things like ‘Hello Cold World’ and ‘Escape Route’

Yeah, she’s a fan of girl groups ofc - like Twice and Blackpink - but I’m telling you, she also likes Astro and Got7 wow

Jumin

This boy obviously likes his classical music. It calms him down from thinking about literally everything and helps him sleep at night.

But that’s not all he listens to. I’m sure he knows a lot of the newest music as well. I’d say he’s a fan of Hozier or maybe Maroon 5. He’s a bigger fan of lyrics, though. 

DJ Han also makes an appearance. Late at night, in the comfort of his home with only Elizabeth to witness, doing weird dances in his chair to things like ‘Gucci Gang’ or stuff from Monsta X

He listens to a little of everything. Like…everything. His favorite artists changes every week at most, every 2 days at least. It’s a mess. Right now? he’s back in his Fall Out Boy phase. 

Likes working while listening to video game soundtracks. He finds them ironic, but for some reason, it helps him go faster? Part of him hates it, part of him accepted his fate.

Some of his favorite groups are more underground groups, but right now he has a soft spot for Stray Kids and ‘Hellevator’  

Jihyun

Jihyun likes indie music, I feel it in my bones. Stuff like Mother Mother, Marina and the Diamonds, and Train. He likes to dance around his little place while he works on puzzles, it’s the cutest.

Also likes Troye Sivan and One Republic. But at the same time, he attempts to listen and learn the words to those songs he knows Hyun and Jumin listen to. He learns to like them, but he can’t rap them. 

Okay so listen. Jihyun would be a huge Seventeen stan. Jumin had to deal with his hype when ‘Thanks’ came out. It was a mess.@ mail can i pls have my album now im beggin 

Saeran

I mean, I think Saeran’s favorite would be Set It Off. There’s no specific reason why, I just think it fights him. Their songs are something he would jam out to tbh.

He’d also like Twenty One Pilots, but it would only be certain songs. And tbh, he’s like that with most groups. He’s not a hardcore fan of almost anything, he just likes a few songs from a few people

Also has a current soft spot for Stray Kids, though, like Saeyoung. It wasn’t intentional at all, it just happened to be at the same times. It’s a twin thing.

Vanderwood

Hmm, I think it would kind of be like Saeran - where he’d be into a little of everything, but not be a hardcore fan of just about anything. 

I do feel like he’d be into things like All Time Low, though. Maybe he’d also be into clipping. but I’m telling you, it changes so very often. Sometimes he picks things up from Saeyoung, though, and starts liking some of his stuff.

Vandy would also like Got7, but he’d be more into things like Super Junior and The Rose. Probably also Nu’est.
