working on a field youre watching a show of really makes you suspend your belief twice cause what do you mean they found an evidence and proceeded to open it in THEIR OFFICE without informing forensics or even having them take a look at it first?

#its funny but also kinda annoying #everytime i watch detective shows now i just go “now you cant use that in court”#or “bitch what u doin there leaving prints while forensics are literally documenting the crime scene?”#the ioc can be there BUT NOT EVERYONE jesus #lmao #just a rant cause i cant watch detective shows now and i love them so much :(#its the reason why im in this field now #but i guess depends on how bad it is?#sometimes its just minute details like okay some guudelines are not followed maybe they dont for that specific rule #but some are just so bad that literally general protocols are not followed like wheres the chain of command?#even if its the main characterter breakong the rules to catch a criminal like girlie #the evidence you procured cannot stand in court because you got it ILLEGALLY #and sure the procurement is cool and all but unless you can fake a believable reason why it is “credible”#the cool montage of breaking entering and stealing wont cut it for me im so sorry #and i know its annoying to nitpick but it bothers me so much lmao #i now understand doctors seeing bad medical dramas lmao #oh also i realized that most of the work is note taking #its annoying as hellllllll #and the paperwork jesus the paperwork #i thought it was just an exaggeration but its not #one case can have more than 50 papers and more if duplicated #the reports oh my god never ending #id fucken use my creative writing and write the chocolate eyed suspect with his flat nose and curly hair swooping down his forehead #bitch ass man id descrive him as a hunk body that has defined muscles and a six pack obly revealed by a slash on his shirt #augh #i dont like the paperwork #honestly? the work is boring mostly #just paperworks like 70% of the time #and waiting for results #oh handing evidence without gloves is the worst lmao
