i like TFP wheeljack but i cant deny i did laugh a little at the decision of making him specifically a cool edgy lone wolf samurai, at first i wasnt super familiar with g1 wheeljack so technically TFP was my first full impression and i thought he was interesting (i had only seen very little of g1 and finished TFA and bayverse at that point) but then i got more familiarized with the original version and i was like ?????

like. who saw this guy and thought "fuck it. lets give him two katanas"

Reanimator is done, at least with the bare paint job. I still need to finish the basing and weather it with Streaking Grime to make it look dingy. NGL, that part's gonna be tough, messing up my beautiful model.

I also finished these guys, so once I finish my Reanimator and repaint my Lord leader model, I'll have my 1k Robot Legions for OPR done!

Finally finished my Sisters Novitiate Killteam! After months of waiting and then a disastrous attempt at the slapchop method I decided that these ladies needed the full send treatment. So of course I had to do perhaps the most laborious paintjob I've ever done!

This fabric drape was a nightmare.

The Whip-Sister doesn't actually have an autopistol in-game, but dual wielding combat whips is a bridge too far even for me, so I gave her an autopistol. I wouldn't have put her in at all except that she combos so well with the Big Chainsword Sister.

And I LOVE how the reliquary turned out. Exactly the effect I was going for.

I am SO proud of these, I'm giving them a coat of matte clearcoat to make sure they stay pristine and then I am going to paint something that is NOT a GW model next, because for fuck's sake. I don't know if I will ever actually play Killteam but hey I've got my girls painted up and ready. The Tau Pathfinder half of the Chalnath box is NOT getting this level of attention, sorry Tau but I don't care about you that much.
