imagine if i owned a house and i designed and fired a bunch of unique ceramic tiles and retiled the whole bathroom with them (<- statements dreamed up by the utterly deranged)
objectively it would be a huge time and money sink just to. yknow. severely lower the resale value of the house. but oh my god it would be so so so cool
#not my fault the average american apparently has the interior decorating sense of paperclip#i dont think ill ever be able to afford a house anyways so it doesnt matter#while were fantasizing lets make it a fancy japanese style bath with a large open shower area and a big separate tub for soaking#with temperature controls for the room and the tub water... waow#some kind of grippy walkway and a bar along the wall to the shower#imagine if i could design a house that was stunningly beautiful but never sacrificed an inch of accessibility for it

Truly, the wildest feeling is when you know that you're about to pass out.
(For me, at least) there is this moment of sudden realisation. Just a single moment when the fog clears and the only coherent thought formed is "Oh shit."
Sometimes, that feeling comes minutes before it happens; other times, it's only seconds.
Sometimes, it happens early enough that you can do something to try and stop it or attempt to make it safer when it inevitably happens. (sitting or laying down, standing still while your vision clears, and focusing on taking deep breaths)
And sometimes you turn to sit down, and suddenly you're laying on the floor, your wrist sore from hitting the counter on the way down, and unable to move as your body catches up.
Sometimes, you're conscious as you lay on the floor. Your body completely unresponsive as you wait for the lead weights to disappear from your limbs
Sometimes, you feel like you've evaded it only to realise that the water beating down on you is at the wrong angle and your music has skipped ahead, and when you notice your eyes are closed, you open them to see all the bottles are strewn across the shower floor, your legs folded beneath you as you slump against the wall. Your head sore where you must have hit the water control on the way down.
The one thing that never changes is the panic in your chest as you realise how badly the situation can become in just seconds if you're not careful.
And the sudden clarity that your mind is slowly shutting off and losing control of your own conciseness. That you're going to go down. You're going to lose seconds, and that thought terrifies you. Because seconds could mean life or death in the wrong situation.
#those have all genuinely happened to me#the shower one was today#and it was fucking terrifying to regain consciousness#all i could think was that i needed out#that i needed to turn off the water#that i couldn’t breath in that small humid space#the second i could move my arm i reached up to turn off the water#and shoved the door open#i ended up sitting on the bathmat for what felt like hours until i felt steady enough to stand and finish my shower#talk about naked and afraid lmao#the thought that kept running through my head was what would have happened if id hit my head worse#if id been in our shower tub combo instead of our cubicle shower#if i didnt have that wall behind me to keep me up and out of the pooling water as my leg blocked the drain#on a totally different note#at one point my mom got pissy that i was using being sick as an excuse to not do work around the house#and was yelling at me to do my laundry#that was until i turned#looked at her#and just said#i dont feel so good#and passed right out on the spot#i had enough of a grasp to fucking quote spiderman as i was actively losing conciseness#she didnt think i was using being sick as an excuse as she had to pull me out of a pile of blankets and hangers#and support half my weight as she brought me back to the couch#lmao

Starting to deep clean my apartment :)
#my apartment hasnt been clean since the day i moved in#i am not a clean person and i could not keep it clean#okay in my defense. i have a lot of shit#like. so much#so unpacking was a wild ride that took months and it was hard to keep clean around the millions of boxes i had#and its a leetle apartment. you can see the whole apartment from anywhere in the apartment that you are#youd think that a little apartment would be easier to keep clean right. because there's less of it#no. somehow that is not the case#i have a whole spring cleaning list that needs to be done relatively soon. like before i leave for camp#do you know how miserable it is to come home after two months of camp to a messy home? its the fuckin worst#the first year i lived alone i went to camp. came home and i had left my room disgusting. it was terrible#i had just spent two months surrounded by other dirty people. sand and dust and dirt. a lake. questionable shower water#sweat and grime and sandy sheets#the one thing you want when you come home is a hot shower and clean laundry and dishes#im going the extra mile and doing the first ever good cleaning since i moved in here#i popped a vyvanse. got my list. opened my pomodoro app. and here i am#im on my break rn dont worry. im about to go finish scrubbing the tub. im concentrating on the bathroom rn#its about to be the cleanest ive ever seen it. seriously. its magical#okay gonna go scrub. love you

The jist of my fainting experience in the tags here!! Long as hell
Feel free to tell me more about it
#the first one which was actually 2 was one right after the other#i was in the shower scrubbing my hair and was doing it a bit rough since I had major lice at the time (don't have it anymore thank god!!)#the water definitely was a bit on the to warm a little warmer than what I like#so as I'm doing that I fuckin fainted#hit the side of my neck on the faucet#it was kinda like I was dreaming during the fainting part#i don't remember falling at all and next thing I know im laying down in the shower#my mom asked if I was okay and I said I was then I finished up and stepped out of the shower#then I fuckin fainted again!!! my mom heard me fall again and came back in the bathroom#don't remember falling aljust remember next thing I know I was on the floor#mom called an ambulance and turnes out I scratched my back on a box that was next to the shower tub combo we had#it scarred and idk how the fuck I ended up hitting it since when I woke back up I was next to it not on my side and it wasn't knocked over#then a while after that was the next fainting time!!#so I hadn't eaten that day or drank anything cuz I was scared to go out of my room whenever my then father figure was around#he was a real fucking ass and greedy as shit for my mom's money since he gambled all his away#they fought a fuck ton#now my mom#brother#and i don't live there anymore and don't have any contact with him#yay!!!#anyway so I didn't eat or drink anything that day#so it was dinner time and my mom called me out of my room for dinner and I walked out waited for her to give me my plate#and so I was kinda walking around just moving around#then I started getting dizzy#told mom#then I was sat down at the table#my non bio brothers and bio brother were in there room eating or gaming#then my fingers cramped up MAJORLY#then I fainted then I woke up then I was moved to the couch and crying and I felt like I couldn't open my eyes and my fingers were still#cramped then the ambulance came and i was able to open my eyes on the way to hospital and my fingers weren't cramped anymore!!!

Edison was home alone all day today and I came home to find he popped on the stairs landing, even tho his litterboxes were both just cleaned last night, fresh litter added and everything. Idk if it's like. He was lonely/bored and thought I would appear eventually if he did so and pay attention to him, but like I had no choice today, or the rest of the week though i won't be leaving the house quite as early as i did today.
#like. what can i do? he has plenty of toys! hes got boxes to play in and a cat tree and scratchers and the run of house except the basement#oh iforgot to open the shower soor for him to hang out inside the shower. he likes to do that. I'll try leaving it open tonight maybe#and tossing a toy mouse in there. and lutting his rag down to lay on too#even if its not as fun if the shower hasnt been on recently (this is the downstairs one mine is a tub he wont go in anyway)#uhhh tissue paper or other crumpled paper in a box??#he could use a buddy but thats not happening#uhhhhhh stick treats inside a cardboard tube?#maybe I'll go look flr his popup tunnel thing

#the fairy lights are waterproof and approved for the shower and were $15#I also bought an extra shower curtain because my shower curtain liner is transparent#and I wanted the light to be soft so I got a white shower curtain to diffuse the light#so it goes… Jeff Goldblum shower curtain then the lights then the white shower curtain#then the rim of the tub. and inside the actual shower is the transparent liner - the only thing getting wet#upper left you can see the battery pack for the lights hanging in the outside of the shower#so it can’t get wet and can be turned on without opening the curtain#I am debating some strands of fake ivy draped between the transparent liner and the white curtain
