why am I seeing people on tiktok say that it's bad that people are getting harassed over fictional and thus harmless ships, and that they shouldn't have to water down their art so they can be palatable to others, ONLY to and end it with "well obvi this doesn't apply to PROSHIPPERS"

So close, so very close to getting it.

Anyway, its so upsetting seeing this thought police/I can't be like "them" behavior, every time I see it. Especially when you can tell the people in the comments are probably young teenagers. These kids are terrified of being apart of the outgroup that they're putting warnings on rairpairs, cuz deviating at all from the norm is an immediate possible threat to them
