The more complex a machine is, the more susceptible it becomes to sabotage. One cracked gear among hundreds, one erroneous line of code among thousands can disrupt the whole.
Mayuri narrowed his eyes, stationed at an elaborate keyboard array that mimicked a church organ, awash in the electric blue of a series of screens. He poked the hollow of his cheek with his one especially long nail, pretending to read the rendered data while his eyes glazed over and a fantasy of limbs and mouths scratched his brain.
