Thank you August 2018!

This year’s birthmonth was a blast and really had fun with the jampacked activities all throughout the month. Let me run you through to everything that happened.

A day before August, I cut my hair short for a change. I had it cut at Wow! Salon in P. Ocampo Vito Cruz.

The first weekend of the month was #ninangduties for my best friend’s son, Pio Migael. The baptism happened at San Sebastian Church in Legarda.

The next day, I was invited by my friend Andrea to watch PBA finals (San Miguel vs. Ginebra) Game 5 happened at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

They also brought Marian with them who also enjoyed dancing with the music.

My office mate Jendz, brought me to a good food place named DOON Thai and Asian Fusion located at Vito Cruz and had this Buttered Grilled Shrimp with Bagoong Rice. Yummers! 

After office, I attended a cinematography workshop led by Raymond Red organized by Panasonic. It was a very informative class I’d really want to repeat.

On the second weekend, it’s History Con time again. I am always excited to attend the convention for a reason and this event has a special spot on my heart. Anyways, my officemate’s friend was one of the organizers that’s why we got free tickets. After office, we went to World Trade Center to check out what were the cool things they have stored for us. 

Was too excited that’s why I went there on the first day.

On the second day, I accidentally bumped into Ina who was working for Converge who was the internet provider for the event.

I also got the chance to meet & greet and take a photo with the celebrities who came all the way from their countries to attend this year’s HistoryCon. First up was Viking’s star, Katheryn Winnick.

And one of the most famous celebrity and most followed because of his show Ancient Aliens, the one and only Giorgio Tsoukalos.

After that I had a photo with A&E Country Head and the ultimate organizer of HistoryCon for the 3rd time. Congrats again Sir Jacque.

Then I was part of this year’s world record attempt: Largest Gathering of People Scratching Scratch Cards.

I was one of the 300 people who were part of the newest guinness world record (*still yet to confirm by Guinness). Yey.

This was my lucky scratch-it card, where I won 20php.

After the attempt, I got the chance to take a photo with Simon Yin who was hosting some parts of the event.

I also had the chance to meet & greet b/vlogger Mong Chin.

And last but not the least, one of my bucketlist to meet at HistoryCon, Jaimeeeee of Ride n’ Seek.

After  HistoryCon day 2, my brother messaged me that our place was flooded that’s why I can’t go home. Messaged some friends and fortunately Ate Gracy was kind enough to adopt me for the night.

On the last day, Sir Jacque gave me an all-access pass that’s why I got the chance to listen to the live session of Giorgio entitled Mysteries of the Past.

And also visited Team Powerline who were also handling the 3 x 3 basketball event headed by Ms. Peeya.

and one of our taga-pag alaga who became a friend Karmela.

At the closing ceremonies, I got the chance to have a selfie with Jaimeee. Just fangirling, *sorry*.

And lastly, an obligatory photo at the I AM A HISTORY MAKER photo wall.

I attended the premiere night of The Day After Valentine’s, thanks to Byx.

This was Bela and JC’s level up with everything after their 100 Tula ni Stela stint. I liked the film’s concept  and how it was executed. Congrats to the team and especially to the director JP Laxamana.

Then after all the shenanigans of renovation at BSM, Papawis Thursday was finally back to regular programming.

Then we had a simple surprise for Ms. Kaye and the HR peeps were distributing flowers to all the guys at the office and I was taking photos but I got to *singit* a photo with the bunch of the flowers.

And for our birthday treat to a community that we were volunteering for...

This was all the food that I bought that I need to carry all the way. I got grab but had to stop 1 block away from our house because there was a drainage thingy that’s why I need to carry it from there and went upstairs at the 3rd floor. 

And this was the before and after of the things I packed for the kids.

And it’s.... Exceptional Sports (ESPORTS) time. This was my alaga for the day, Cyrus.

After our E-Sports stint, Ate Weng tagged me along to their staycation at Marriott Hotel.

The happiest kid all throughout his stay at the hotel who always screams, I love hotels, can we stay here forever.

Since it was a day before my birthday, I treated them our dinner via Kenny Rogers. Yay.

Night swimming is one of the best therapy ever!

On my birthday, we had a cake via Marriot Hotel Cafe.

Then attended the medical mission organized by Papa Ahwel. Thanks for the medical check-up. 

To end my birthday long weekend, I visited San Miguel. 

And another dodegball night with the crew.

On washday Fridays, I dress up. So here’s my ootd: Top - HQ Store, Skirt - Gift, Shoes - Converse, Coin Purse - Souvenir from Pio’s baptism.

And lastly, another dodgeball night wherein I got my brother join. Waaah. 

Thank you Augst for a jampacked month as always.I had  lot of fun and lessons learned. I also met different people because of the different activities I’ve done for August. See you again August.
