who is more likely to hurt the other?: Rudyard is definitely more likely to hurt Victor - physically, emotionally, whatever - but it’s always accidental and often kind of comedic in the way that “Wooden Overcoats” is comedic. I think, though, that Victor is the one who hurt Rudyard worst when he left Piffling Vale, seemingly for good, when they were teenagers. That’s probably the most serious hurt either of them has dealt the other but Rudyard forgives Victor so easily for that one because by the time Victor comes back to make amends, they’ve matured (lol) enough to forge ahead.  who is emotionally stronger?: I think Victor says it’s Rudyard and that he’s wrong. I think Victor is the one who is the survivor between the two of them, who has had to endure abuse after abuse and is still kind. Rudyard has endured what might be termed as “abuse” as well, but he is not kind. He has not forgiven the world and I think Victor’s willingness to find good - in Rudyard, in Piffling, in the world - after he’s been so hurt speaks to a real and deep strength of character. I think Rudyard is in gentle awe of his gently strong husband. who is physically stronger?: Also Victor. Victor exercises like his fucking life depends on it. It’s like... low-key hilarious that he lets Rudyard, who isn’t exactly the strongest guy around, kinda manhandle him in intimate moments because Victor can probably punt Rudyard across the room like a football without breaking a sweat. who is more likely to break a bone?: I think they both have, tbh. Next question. who knows best what to say to upset the other?: RUDYARD. I think Clare and I accidentally went too hard with this when I moved Rudyard from the old blog to the MuMu because we had all the fluff established and we like... knew they were the cutest couple ever, but anyone who searches this blog for early Rudyard threads (”early” Rudyard threads, tbh. I’d been RPing him for six months when I moved him and Vicyard was well established) would find Rudyard TEARING A NEW ORIFICE IN VICTOR’S CHEST. Woops. Rudyard can be mean and he knows what to say to really hurt a person. He doesn’t usually use this but I’m thinking about two specific threads (one where Victor says he’ll hang himself and one where Rudyard tries to cancel the mass portion of their wedding) that were just peak Rudyard viciousness.   who is most likely to apologise first after an argument?: Victor. He apologizes too much. Rudyard doesn’t apologize enough but when he does, he fucking means it. who treats who’s wounds more often?: Dr. Edgeware. He’s so tired of these idiots.   who is in constant need of comfort?: Yes.   who gets more jealous?: Rudyard. It’s a quiet, seething jealousy and you’ll see him get physically clingy when he feels insecure that Victor is handsome and kind and other people notice.   who’s most likely to walk out on the other?: Gonna say it again - Victor did it once and they’ve both vowed never to do it again.  who will propose?: RUDYARD. Victor hanging around Piffling like, “idk if he wants me here” and getting a panicked, stern, loving, genuine Rudyard proposal of “Of course I want you here. I want you here for the rest of our lives. I’ve always wanted that - I thought you knew. I suppose... I’ll have to ask: Will you marry me?” or something like that warms my heart.  who has the most difficult parents?: Oof. Victor because they’re still alive but I don’t know if that’s cheating. Their families suck.  who initiates hand-holding when they’re out in public?: Both.   who comes up for the other all the time?: Like in conversation? I feel like Victor has to constantly defend things Rudyard has done when he talks to neighbors. Rudyard just constantly brings Victor up like, “Have you seen my husband? He’s the best man on this island and Chapman can stick that in his juicebox.”   who hogs the blankets?: Probably Rudyard who gets more sad?: V I C T O R  who is better at cheering the other up?: Victor but mostly because Rudyard is easier to cheer up. Rudyard isn’t half bad at cheering Victor up but sometimes Victor gets dark and I have to OOC message Clare to make sure she’s not about to kill him in the thread again.   who’s the one that playfully slaps the other all the time after they make silly jokes?: Neither but I think Victor rolls his eyes at Rudyard’s jokes A LOT and Rudyard DOES NOT NOTICE.  who is more streetwise?: NEITHER OF THEM OMG I mean if I had to pick, I’d say like... Victor could survive longer in a big city on his own but like... I would never make the mistake of calling Victor Trevor “streetwise”.  who is more wise?: What??? No??? Rudyard is obnoxiously outgoing and not in a kind or positive way.  who boasts about the other more?: This sounds like a great competition for couple’s bonding with these two. God, I think about the Taco Tuesday thread where Victor is tequila-wasted and in Rudyard’s lap, purring and crying and asking if he’s pretty and Rudyard is like, “.... can you do exactly this when you’re sober so I don’t feel bad for wanting to kiss and touch you?”
