Quadruple Solo: Aftermath
Celena was weak. She'd taken the brunt of both a siren spell and paralyzing neurotoxins for Tayen, and it left her in the weakest state she'd been in in years. After Holly and Sarah had finally stopped singing and the toxins had worn off she had relinquished control to Tayen only to go dark in the back of her mind for the rest of the night.
Tayen wasn't prepared for any of that. She wasn't prepared for the sirens, she wasn't prepared for the toxins, and she certainly wasn't prepared for Celena to force her way into having control to protect her. She couldn't remember the last time she had done that.
The fairy woke up slowly in the infirmary. She sat up, looking around in panic. Where's Haylie? Is she okay? Did Celena get to her in time? Is James okay? Is Drew okay?

Willa hadn't been able to pick up on the fact that it was a siren spell in time to save herself. She should've noticed that they weren't normal girls when she felt herself being pulled. She should have noticed that something was off. She did notice, but too late. The shaman ended up pulled in by the spell like most everyone else.
She was the first to leave the infirmary. She was a quick healer, after all, thanks to shaman magic. She'd gone straight to her dorm to write a letter to Ananaksaq Tanana, telling her about the experience and her own failure to protect herself and the other students.

Harley didn't get pulled in by the spell. Must've been the demigod thing. She had, however, been pretty badly effected by the neurotoxins. It had almost seemed like she'd had some kind of adverse reaction to it. Instead of being paralyzed, her muscles kept twitching painfully. She had managed to crawl out of the dance, her muscles still twitching, and recover outside. She waited until she was almost fully back to herself before she went straight to Fairy Godmother to confess her involvement in the events that had unfolded.
It was a mystery she didn't get sent back to the Isle. She'd got off easy, maybe because she chose to own up to her mistakes. Harley was just put on house arrest in her dorm for a week and given detention for two weeks. That's much better than what Holly got.
Then the former soldier, locked inside her dorm all alone, lost her composed facade and broke down in angry tears.

Eira had been able to resist the siren spell, mostly because she had watched her best friend walk away from her and to the stage. What was he doing? Was he okay?
She hadn't accounted for the fact that there could be more to the chaotic performance than just the singing. The neurotoxins hit her hard, especially since she had been standing next to a few balloons before they exploded. The ice princess had lost a bit of control of her magic, freezing a patch of floor and a table next to her. Eira had panicked, and when she panicked she lost control.
She would likely be the last to wake up after the dance simply because of how hard she'd been impacted by the neurotoxins. Maybe going to the dance was a bad idea, after all...
