*The sound of claws tapping against the floor echos through empty dark hallways. They had waited until the middle of the night before doing this. Couldn't risk being seen by one of the mercs, that might ruin their plan.*

*They marched with purpose towards their destination, somewhere they were sure plenty of mercs would be come morning, carrying a note that they deemed of great importance. Once in the kitchen, they got onto the counter with a few easy wing beats, carefully placing the note down so that others may read it. Hoping that some might see the same importance of the matter that they and a friend from another world did.*

*They hop off the counter and head away, the note reads as follows:*

August 20th is C[the rest of the name is scribbled out] Shifty's birthday! She's gonna be ??? years old! I hope you're seeing this letter today instead of another day, I'm a really bad planner. She's probably not gonna mention it, so I will!

Everyone's birthdays should be celebrated, so if you have to drag her out, do it! Me and South are always doing it, so I know you guys won't have any problems. Have fun today!!!
