y'all don't understand how goddamn happy i am....i love smiling friends!!!!!! i love smiling friends so so so so sooo much
#i have not been this feral over a cartoon since......god ducktales 17???#and even with ducktales i wasn't constantly looking up new fan stuff every moment i could#like. holy shit. the last two major fandoms i've been in were TINY#onward had good engagement early on and some great fics but fans fizzled out quickly#plus the movie isn't that popular in general and the fandom just devolved into. well. that#and the caddicarus fandom is just...filled to the brim with children nowadays#and adult fans aren't as active with fandom stuff#but SMILING FRIENDS????#a mixed media surreal animated adult sitcom#that's dumb but also has depth#characters are not just one-dimensional and they actually care for each other#fan engagement is off the charts and the show is beloved by most people#AND ITS CO-CREATED BY ZACH HADEL#WHOSE ANIMATIONS IVE WATCHED SINCE I WAS A KID#AND SF HAS SUCH GOOD FAN CONTENT#sorry im. im just so happy#i have not eaten this good in five years#i hope SF can become my fifth big special interest
