Dear Blaize You did it! You won the Math 24 County Competition! After last year only missing it by one question you said that you were coming back this year and you were going to win! We have watched you over this last year assert yourself, practice, train and condition your mind to be as sharp as possible in order to compete. We are extremely proud of your character and how you handle yourself. You always congratulate the other players. You have made friends and earned the respect of your teacher and peers who also compete throughout the district. The teacher that leads your group speaks very highly of you and says she takes no credit because you just have a natural ability to play this game. You remain humble but still find a way to lead and thats a great combination to be able to present to others. But most of all I noticed that you said a little prayer before that final round amidst your nervousness and anxiety. Again that showed me that you are listening and understanding where your blessings come from. As a parent it warms my heart to see the young man that you are becoming and that you will be a future leader in this "free" world we live in. So enjoy the victory and continue to realize whatever you put your mind to CAN be done. The accolades of your accomplishments are just icing on the cake.
