JK SEZ: My thoughts on BET's "American Soul"...

"... the SOOOOOOOUUUULLLL TRAIN!!!"

Yes, that's right! BET hit it big from the word "GO!" on this one! "American Soul" and the stars involved did it the real way; the right way.

First and foremost, Sinqua Walls; he stars as the one and only Don Cornelius; the show's original host; creator AND executive producer.

Second, Don's son - Tony - he is one of the executive producers of this movie (and, of course, the man in charge of keeping the SOUL TRAIN name alive!)... and who better than him to tell the untold story about the man that gave us all "the hippest trip in America"!

Third - and this is most important in a biopic - the characters as portrayed by the stars! For example, Kelly Rowland as Gladys Knight; as well as the portrayal of Edna Wright & the Honey Cone... these guys (and girls) were absolutely amazing! We need more of that; for sure, for sure!

I truly; honesty and definitely, have to give this one a A+++!!! Because, that is the truth; the only way to tell a story! Everyone, show some love for this cast and crew! They're truly amazing!!!

You better believe that I will be back for more! You bet your last money; it's all gonna be a stone gas, honey! Till that very next ride; as always in parting... take us home, Don! 😉✌

JK SEZ: "Surviving R. Kelly"... my thoughts...

Man, I just couldn't believe what I saw. I mean, I thought his songs were cool... he had the swagger; sex appeal; he had all the good songs... all the right moves.

Everyone knew his songs; who he co-wrote and produced with. Screaming fans everywhere from coast to coast; around the world!

For 30+ years, he killed the pop and R&B game! "Got That Vibe"... "Homie, Lover, Friend"... "Summer Bunnies"; "Honey Love"; "Bump n' Grind"... " You Are Not Alone" with Michael Jackson; "Any Time, Any Place" with Janet... "Hey, Love" with Mr. Lee (I'm a music lover; I could go on and on!)... he even did a few songs with Celine Dion & Lady Gaga; not to mention Keith Murray of the Def Squad!

And Aaliyah... you knew I loved her music! "Back & Forth"; "At Your Best"... "Are You That Somebody?" "One In A Million"... "If Your Girl Only Knew". The hits went on and on and on! RiP, Baby Girl!!

Now that I saw the documentary... and now that I see the entire picture... I got something to say.

If he wanted video hotties in his songs that much, then why couldn't he get some his own age and better?! There are plenty of women over 25 that would die to be in a music video! Kellz wrote and produced songs for the "grown and sexy"... not teenagers!

Indeed, yes, I love the sexy ladies... that's what strip clubs are for, right? There are plenty of those in very big cities. All ya gotta do is look. Lotta hot girls that are of age and better... coulda had anyone! No limit... the world was his treasure chest. Black, White; Asian; Latina... all that. And what does he do? Go to a high school; go to the shopping malls. Why? Yup, you guessed it... and now, look at him. Everybody's after him now, but for all the wrong reasons. Should've stayed in your lane.

"Monster"... "control freak"? For putting them young girls through that kind of hell... most definitely! Pedophile... you know it! Now I'm just sick to my stomach just thinkin' about it!

Here this guy is; with the pull, potential and the power of making anybody a superstar; young or old... make good money and make their lives positive... but no, he does the opposite. And why does he look for young teens to be in his songs??! He's so stupid for doing that! How dumb does that sound? It doesn't make sense to me at all!

Man... I hope Sony Music & RCA Records pull the plug on this POS. Seriously... because that's not what you do! What you're supposed to do is the right thing; uplift people and make good music to listen to. Because that's what true artists do.

That said, I have made my decision and I will not listen to any more songs from R. Kelly on my cell; my laptop or anywhere else... and if I get my own radio station/production studio, I will lay down strict but simple rules. Like this:

NO ONE UNDER 25 ADMITTED AT ANY TIME! NO EXCUSES OR EXCEPTIONS. I.D. REQUIRED.

If you follow the rules; I promise you; guarantee ya, we'll all have a lotta fun!

And I also promise you this... that THIS "Kelly" right here will stand up for all the right things and do those right things and make life better for all people; both young and old!
