i wonder if fiver mentioned being azem to the ancients during his story. cause they never bring it up i don't think, although they do mention azem quite a lot. but fiver's well aware at this point of where his soul came from. entirely possible hyth, and emet if he's not still pretending not to believe it, would figure that part out on their own, given they could see how similar his soul was to azem's. like imagining hyth listening to the story about the world and people getting split into pieces and putting "exact same soul color" together with "why is he so easy to talk to" and Realizing

like at the very least if he'd taken out the convocation crystals it might have helped his case cause how do you explain him having those, emet

#if they do realize it i have to imagine the thought process is like #'of course it would be you'#only some part of azem would be so insane to get launched thousands of years back in time to try and save the world #but then also the realization that if fiver is pieces of azem and sitting in front of them now #then that means azem dies #fel's ffxiv #endwalker lb #oc: fiver #in fiver's case he and nysos look very very similar so it would have been all the easier for them to piece that together #it could have easily come up during the story but also fiver was probably trying to be brief #and a detour about figuring out who his soul used to belong to probably didnt seem particularly relevant to him
