I remember the CWC of 2015, India had lost the semi finals against New Zealand. A nine year old me was very new to such pain. And on the following Sunday was the finals, against Australia and New Zealand, and I had swimming classes that day. Much to my dismay, I was kicked out of the house, because in my mother's words, the match didn't matter if we weren't playing anyways. But the thing is, it did. Cause at the pool, all the coaches could do was glance at the scores on their phones. The Google scores that too, you know there wasn't any streaming sites then. But there was this huge swim-timing tv which was connected to the cable, so the match could be broadcasted there. So I spent the hour after coaching, staring at the match on the television until my mom called and yelled at me to get back home. Australia won that day.
