Creating Timeless Memories: Choosing the Right Wedding Photographer
Tumblr media
Your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime event, filled with love, joy, and unforgettable moments. Capturing these moments perfectly requires the expertise of a Skilled Wedding photographer. At Darcey Stone Photography, we understand the importance of preserving your wedding day memories through stunning wedding photos. In this blog, we'll guide you through the process of selecting the perfect wedding photographer, understanding wedding photographer costs, and ensuring a flawless wedding photoshoot.
Why a Professional Wedding Photographer Matters
A professional wedding photographer is essential for capturing the essence and emotions of your wedding day. These photos will be cherished for years to come, serving as a beautiful reminder of the love and happiness you experienced. A seasoned wedding photographer has the skills to capture every detail, from candid moments to elegant portraits, ensuring that your wedding photos reflect the true spirit of your special day.
Steps to Finding Your Ideal Wedding Photographer
Selecting the right wedding photographer involves careful consideration and planning. Here are some steps to help you find the perfect match:
Research and Referrals: Start your search by looking for wedding photographers in your area. Check online portfolios and read reviews. Ask recently married friends or family members for recommendations, as personal experiences can provide valuable insights.
Portfolio Evaluation: Examine the portfolios of potential photographers to understand their style and approach. Look for consistency in quality and creativity. Ensure their style aligns with your vision for your wedding photos.
Consultation: Schedule consultations with shortlisted photographers. Discuss your wedding details, preferences, and expectations. This meeting is crucial to assess their professionalism and how comfortable you feel with them.
Understanding Wedding Photographer Costs: Wedding photographer costs can vary significantly. Discuss pricing packages and what they include. A transparent photographer will provide detailed information about their services and any additional charges.
Experience and Equipment: Inquire about the photographer's experience and the equipment they use. Experienced photographers are better equipped to handle unexpected challenges and capture high-quality images.
Wedding Photographer Costs and Packages
Wedding photography prices depend on various factors, including the photographer's experience, coverage duration, and the package chosen. Here's a breakdown of common packages:
Basic Package: Typically includes a few hours of coverage, basic editing, and a limited number of digital photos.
Standard Package: Offers more hours of coverage, advanced editing, a larger number of digital photos, and possibly an album or prints.
Premium Package: Includes full-day coverage, extensive editing, all digital photos, a high-quality album, prints, and possibly a second photographer.
Investing in a professional wedding photographer is essential for preserving your precious memories. While it may be tempting to choose the cheapest option, prioritize quality and experience to ensure beautiful and lasting photos.
Tips for a Successful Wedding Photoshoot
A well-planned wedding photoshoot is crucial for capturing the best moments of your big day. Here are some tips to ensure a smooth photoshoot:
Plan Ahead: Coordinate with your photographer to create a detailed photoshoot schedule. Allocate sufficient time for each session, including getting ready, the ceremony, and the reception.
Create a Shot List: Prepare a list of must-have shots, such as family portraits, candid moments, and specific details. Share this list with your photographer to ensure all important moments are captured.
Relax and Enjoy: On your wedding day, focus on enjoying the moment. Trust your photographer's expertise and let them guide you through the process. Authentic emotions and natural interactions make for the best photos.
Personal Touches: Incorporate personal elements into your photoshoot, such as meaningful locations or props. These details add uniqueness and sentiment to your wedding photos.

Tagged about a week ago by @whats-her-name-virginia-plain & @duranarchy-in-the-uk - thank you 💜💙 and sorry I took so long in posting this! It brought back some great memories though!
Music Questions
1) what is the first song you remember hearing?
Many moons ago. Could have been “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”? "Mary Had A Little Lamb?" Or maybe “Hey Jude” by the Beatles.
Tumblr media
2) what is the first band you got into?
The Bangles & Exposé. And Madonna was my favorite artist. I think it was all about the girl power back then!
3) do you collect any physical music?
Lately no, but I still have a ton of CD’s and casettes (mostly mixed tapes).
4) what is your favourite piece of music memorabilia?
Probably some of my retro 60′s music magazines that I bought at the vintage hippie shops in New Hope, PA
5) the favourite concert you’ve been to?
I saw Paul McCartney in concert 3 times (was a Beatlemaniac for years). The first two times I think I got the cheapest seats where he was about a mile away. The last one I went to was back when I had a real job and could afford to sit maybe half a mile away. It was awesome.
Another favorite would be the B52′s with OMD as the openers. Saw them back in 2018. Nosebleed seats again, but the music was so good.
Oh! And Cyndi Lauper, The Go Go's, Duran Duran, Sean Lennon, David Byrne and the Tom Tom Club (not all at once ofc)! All from around the 2010's. I have a bestie who is always getting tickets for concerts so I've seen heaps of live acts.
I wish I could remember the Duran concert better, but it was 10 years ago and we were all the way in the back again. For Cyndi's concert though, my friend got us seats so close that we could see up her nose! There was a very funny moment where she exclaimed, "Man it's hot in here! Where's the A/C, man?!" And she dragged out a box fan on to the stage!
Tumblr media
6) if you could see one artist who is no longer alive in concert, who would it be?
David Bowie!! Still kicking myself for not seeing him live.
7) have you met any musicians?
Gary Lightbody (lead singer from Snow Patrol) and a very quiet James McCartney (Paul’s son - he’s very shy).
8) what’s your go to album when you’re feeling sad?
Any classic McCartney album really. His voice can be a source of comfort & nostalgia.
9) what’s your go to album when you’re feeling happy?
Something I can sing or dance to, like my Duran albums.
10) one music documentary you love?
80's Duran in Sing Blue Silver and Three To Get Ready! Another favorite would be Wingspan w/McCartney & Wings, naturally
Tumblr media
11) what is one concert dvd that you love?
The Prince's Trust Rock Gala 1986. Actually rented it on VHS back in the late 90's! My favorite performance from that would be Paul McCartney & Tina Turner singing "Get Back". So much hair, so much! Looked like a hair battle at one point. Tina is just amazing here, but I don't know when she hasn't been. That performance is also on YouTube. X
12) do you prefer listening to playlists or albums?
Albums mainly, because I can pick and choose which song I want to listen too. But since the newer cars don't have CD players (who's brilliant idea was that? 😐) I've been listening to my Spotify playlists. But that's been ok too because I can explore more tunes without having to buy them (for now at least).
13) do you listen to albums in order or on shuffle?
In order, but I skip around a lot.
14) what is your favourite deep cut song by your favourite artist?
Paul McCartney has so many deep cuts that he never released for years, but many of them started popping up on various sites online. A lot of the songs he didn't release himself are actually better than what he released I think. I can't really single one out. I'd say "Sunshine Sometime" and "Why So Blue" to name a few.
15) what is your favourite cd/cassette/vinyl you own in terms of its packaging?
Hmm maybe "The Beatles Anthology" or "Flaming Pie" by Paul McCartney. Anything with lyrics and lots of photos is good enough for me.
Since I was tagged days ago, I'm tagging anybody!

Do you know what type of cube that is? Or do you have more pictures so I can compare it with what I can find? Asking for a friend 😅 (I *swear* I've seen a high res pic of the cube from I think DTTM, but looking through the photo albums on flickr there's only one sorta useful pic and it's Not the one I remember (I remember the cube lying on the stage, but the most useful pic I can find is in Jonny's hand)) (Also on what type it is, I'm pretty sure it's called a ghost cube but like there's different versions of that, even disregarding different colours and such)
It is the ghost cube! It was just a generic one, I think from Amazon, but it comes from a bunch of places so just choose whatever is cheapest and has the best shipping. The one I got looks different from the pictures on websites selling it because all the black and white ghost cubes? Just black plastic and the white stickers come separately so I just didn’t apply them
If it looks different in mechs stuff, I believe the deal was that they had one that someone owned for the original run of Bifrost and by the time DTTM came around it had broken (they’re real fragile, idk which day it was because I’m. Unsure what is my memory and what’s stories I was told at this point but Ivy legit broke the cube during the “Give it here” bit at DTTM), and then there is a different cube used at DTTM which belonged to Reesha Dryer’s musician?
Tbh if the copy you get isnt the exact model, you probably won’t be able to tell, it’s just a Spikey Shape that I have no idea how to form back into a cube. But I think they’re just generically sold a bunch of places online so googling ghost cube should do it. Enjoy they’re really nice to have

Series Masterlist
Warnings: language, protesting?, creepy guy harassment, mention of death, and fighting
Summary: Peter’s friends aren’t too fond of y/n.
Word Count: 3.1K
The crowded halls of Midtown High would always annoy y/n. Yet she praised them for hiding her as she eavesdropped on the argument Peter and his friends were having.
“There’s just something off about her, man.”
“Something off? Have you seen us!? There’s a little something off about us Ned!”
“You’ve barely known her for a week Peter!”
“But guys I’ve ne-
“Yea, yea you’ve never felt this way before.”
Peter’s face softened, “MJ, I’m sorry I didn’t feel-”
“It’s whatever Peter, it’s in the past. I just think she’s hiding something. We’re trying to look out for you.”
Peter sighed, “Maybe you guys are right, but she needs friends right now. She’s a newbie.”
Y/n frowned. Any sane person could see that Peter was heavily influenced by his friends when it came to making decisions. There was no possible way for her to get closer to Peter until his friends trusted her too.
She rounded the corner, “Hey Pete! Ned, MJ.”
MJ and Ned shared an annoyed glance behind Peter’s back while he stepped toward her.
“Y-y/n hey!”
“Only my friends call me MJ,”she shot her a dirty look before retreating down the hallway. She left the three staring at her back until she disappeared into the wall of students.
“Well isn’t she just a dark ray of sunshine today.”
Peter rubbed at the back of his neck, “I’m sorry about MJ, she’s not one to make friends easily.”
Ned shot his best friend a wary glance that didn’t go unnoticed by y/n’s eyes. Even if he wasn’t as open about his feelings towards her, y/n knew that there was some trust to be gained.
“So I’ve noticed.”
Y/n had found herself a permanent spot at the deemed “losers” table, much to Michelle and Ned’s disliking. By the third day, Peter had stopped gazing at Liz across the cafeteria. Even now she attempted to drill holes in the back of y/n’s head as she made him laugh.
“Hey guys I have something to show you.”
Her hands dipped into her bag and grasped for the box amongst the crumpled papers. It’s contents clinked together as she pulled it out and into the table. The second the boys laid eyes on its cover, their mouths fell agape.
“No waaayy!”
“I heard you guys were building a LEGO Death Star and I thought it’d be cool to add to your collection!”
“The Millennium Falcon!? That’s hella expensive, y/n!”
“I found a guy selling it online for cheap,”she lied.
The cheapest that the toy was going for was $50, even on the sketchiest of websites. Y/n had found it much easier to slip it in her bag and walk out the employee exit of the store.
Peter took the box from her hands and set it between him and Ned. Their eyes roamed the picture on the front while they grinned from ear to ear.
“I’ll need some help building it of course.”
Ned beamed at her,“We got you!”
“Yea totally!”Peter’s eyes lit up. “Hey do you wanna help us finish the Death Star first?”
The grin on Ned’s face fell and his eyes flickered to Michelle behind her book. Y/n felt the tension twist around her neck like a rope. She had to be careful to not kick the chair she balanced on.
“I’d love to Pete, if that's ok with you Ned?”
“Yea, I guess.”he looked like a kicked puppy. “Hey Pete, we gotta pick something up from the workshop before lunch is over.”
“No we don-”
“Yes.We.Do”
Ned’s fingers closed around Peter’s wrist, pulling his best friend up with him. Together they weaved their way out of the cafeteria, leaving y/n stranded with Michelle. She nervously eyed the book covering the girl’s face and hoped that it’d shield her for the rest of lunch.
“Winning us over with materialistic things, good play y/n.” She rested the book in her lap. “It won’t work with me though, sorry.”
The smile on y/n’s lips faltered but she quickly recovered. “I’m not sure what you’re talking about.”
“Yea sure.”
With that, Michelle shoved her book into her bag and followed the direction that Peter and Ned had gone.
The rest of the week went by in a flash and soon enough y/n sat on the floor next to a nearly finished LEGO Death Star. It would’ve been complete the next day. However when y/n arrived at Peter’s door the next day, she found the two boys standing apologetically, a heap of LEGO pieces between them.
“Can you tell me why we have to rebuild it again?”
The two boys exchanged a nervous glance. Y/n could tell there was a secret linked between them, something she may already have known.
“Oh um Peter scared the living shit out of me and I kinda dropped it?” Ned blused.
Y/n’s lips turned up into a smirk, “Ah right.”
Over the past few afternoons of LEGOs and witty conversations, Ned had warmed up to her. They began to banter as if they had known each other their whole lives. As they laughed over her latest remark, y/n couldn’t help but notice Peter’s eyes on her.
“Here you do the last piece, y/n.”
From the corner of her eye, she saw Ned’s face fall. LEGOs were a sacred thing the two boys had let her in on, much against his protests.
“Actually,”she grabbed Ned’s wrist and turned his palm towards the ceiling. “I think Ned should do it instead, Pete.”
A childish grin spread across Ned’s face as she pressed the plastic into his hand. His eyes whispered to her a silent thank you before he snapped the piece into place. High fives were passed around as they looked over their creation with pride. Their celebration was cut short by the smoke alarm and the slamming of an oven door. Smoke poured into Peter’s open doorway soon followed by May Parker. She leaned against the door frame leisurely waving the air with her oven mit.
“Hey, are you two joining us for dinner? I made my famous meatloaf!”
Y/n was quick to catch the warning glance that Peter gave his friend as Ned stumbled over his words. “I can’t Ms. Parker. I gotta head home.”
Her bottom lip jutted out, “Aww ok Ned, it was good to see you!”
“Yea you too Ms. Parker!”
Ned quickly shuffled past her and y/n contemplated following after him.
“How about you, y/n?”
Her stomach dropped, there was no getting out of this one. She had skirted by May’s dinner requests a couple of times, but she had run out of excuses.
Y/n looked nervously from Peter to his aunt, “Oh no, I don’t want to intrude.”
“Oh please sweetheart! I’ve been dying to meet the girl Peter doesn’t shut up about!”
Peter’s eyes widened, “MAY!”
A real laugh escaped y/n’s lips at how red he had turned.
“Y-you don’t have to if you want to. I’m sure-“
“Peter give her a break!”she laughed and took y/n’s hand in hers giving it a warm squeeze. “Will you join us?”
It took all that was in her not to flinch at May’s foreign, soft touch. She regained the smile on her face, “Yes, of course.”
“Great! Peter, will you set the table?”
To say the least, May Parker was no gourmet chef. With every swallow of meatloaf y/n had to choke down, she regretted her response to a dinner invitation. Every few seconds she’d glance at Peter who would flash her an apologetic smile. Meanwhile, his aunt was rapidly firing questions at her. She answered them with ease, all rehearsed parts of a script.
“What do your parents do?”
“Oh well my father-”how was she supposed to tell her that her father was set on killing the Avengers? “Is a traveling businessman.”
“And your mother?”
Her mother, the word was a knife to her bruised heart. She would tell the truth for this one, for her mother.
“S-she’s no longer with us.”
May reached for her hand across the table,“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry to hear that!”
Much to y/n’s relief, May stopped her questions shortly after that. Instead, she shared stories of baby Peter that made him cover his face with his hands in embarrassment. Some of them even coaxed a laugh to tumble from y/n’s lips.
“Will you stay for dessert?”
“As much as I’d love to! I should probably get home, it was very nice meeting you Ms. Parker!”
“Oh no please, call me May, y/n!”
“Have a goodnight!”
Peter held the door for her and quickly ushered her outside before May could break out the photo albums from the shelf. Only when he closed the door did he calm down a bit.
He raked a hand through his curls, “Thanks for coming I-i know May’s not the best cook but she-“
“It was fine Peter. Thanks for having me.”
She held his gaze all the while stepping closer to him until she almost had to crane her neck to look at him. Her arms wrapped around his middle and her face pressed into his strong chest. Peter hesitated before he enveloped her in his arms and his hands splayed on her back. They stayed like that for a moment making it a game of who would let go first. Y/n lost. She pulled away from Peter’s warmth and opened her apartment door.
“Oh um goodnight, y/n!”
“Goodnight Pete,”she giggled at the state her hug left him in.
She closed the wood with a click, leaving a flustered Peter standing in the hallway. Through the spyhole she watched as Peter cheered silently before dancing happily through his door.
Things were starting to run more smoothly, Ned would greet her at lunch and y/n had received multiple dinner invitations from May. The only one who seemed to still give her the cold shoulder was Michelle. Y/n had tried every way she had known to get Michelle to like her. From bringing her all of her favorite foods at lunch to conversations about her favorite novels, the bookworm wasn’t easily swayed. But she herself even told y/n, materials meant nothing to Michelle. Y/n had spent every minute in class finding ways to get the girl on her side.
In front of her a couple girls whispered in hushed tones. Their giggles weren’t hard to notice but what had caught her attention was “protest”. She leaned over and tapped the closest girl on the shoulder.
“Hey what protest?”
“Oh, the women’s rights protest in Kissena Park! I didn’t take you for the protesting type.”
A wry smile formed on her lips, “I’m gonna give it a go, yea.”
Up until the bell rang, y/n was itching to find Michelle before she disappeared in the hive of students. When the clock finally reached 2:45, she was the first one out the door and running down the hall to her locker. Heads turned to look at her curiously as she ran about Midtown High’s campus in search of Michelle Jones. She found her almost to the school’s front doors.
“Hey! MJ-Michelle wait!”
To her surprise, she stopped in her tracks and spun around to meet her. Y/n’s shoes squeaked against the linoleum floor in an attempt to stop herself from colliding with her. Michelle’s face was washed in annoyance, her eyes stared down at y/n’s bent over figure.
“Well?”
“I w-was wondering if you were going to the women’s rights protest. The one in Kissena Park?”
“Yea,” Michelle crossed her arms over her chest while her dark eyes worked over y/n. “What about it?”
“Can I maybe join you?”
She took the request into consideration, chewing it over in her brain. Y/n almost thought that Michelle would spit it back in her face.
“Yea I don’t care, why not?”
“Great! I’ll meet you there?”
Michelle was already walking away, “Whatever.”
The fictional smile on y/n’s face while her eyes remained on the girl’s back. What an afternoon it was going to be.
Two hours later, y/n found herself getting off the bus right outside Kissena Park. A large crowd of women were already gathering at the front gate, signs in tow. After some searching, y/n finally found Michelle amongst them wielding a “guns have more rights than my vagina” sign.
Y/n’s mind panicked, she didn’t have a sign to flaunt. Her eyes scanned the crowd for an easy sign to pick off someone. And there it was, her saving grace. A large pink sign was propped up against the iron fence that read, “A vagina brought you into this world, a vagina can vote you out.” She shrugged, it was good enough for her.
“Hey Michelle!”
She spun around to reveal a wild grin on her face. This was Michelle in her element, no walls and no guard up. Her eyes surveyed the sign in y/n’s eyes before letting out a laugh.
“I like your sign.”
“Thanks, I like yours too.”
“Well come on, women’s rights aren’t gonna win themselves!”
At first. y/n didn’t appreciate the crowd, it made her on edge. Nothing good came out of waiting in large numbers. But as she watched Michelle’s defenses unravel she too felt the knot on her worries loosen. Soon enough they were walking side by side yelling with the crowd.
The girls walked the remainder of the park after the protest had finished. Y/n had finally chipped away at Michelle’s wall as they giggled endlessly over books and the students of Midtown High.”
“Who am I now?”Michelle bent her knees slightly. “You guys wanna take a ride in my new whip that’s not actually mine! Oh hey there’s Penis Park-“
“What are some pretty ladies like you doin down here?”
They had been too busy laughing that they hadn’t noticed the man approaching them on the other side of the walkway. Michelle was quick to brush past him but not quite enough. The man grabbed her by the upper arm and shoved his face in hers.
“Hey I’m talking to you!”
Michelle’s eyes were bulging with fear and she wasn’t strong enough to pull away from the stranger’s grip.
“Hey asshole don’t touch her!”
Y/n’s hands grabbed at his jacket sleeve and she aimed her knee at his lower half. It’s first attempt connected with his stomach and the second his groin. The attacker crumpled to the cement clutching his asset. Y/n wasted no time in kneeling beside him and taking his face in one hand. Her mouth hovered over his ear and she made sure that Michelle couldn’t see her next action.
She slipped a twenty dollar bill into his jacket pocket, “Sorry about that Kev’ I gotta make it believable.”
With that she stood and kicked him once in the ribs for good measure before turning towards Michelle. Her jaw was as low as the floor and her eyes wide with awe.
“Wow that was badass!”
“Thanks,”she took a hold of her hand. “I think we should get out of here.”
Michelle led y/n to the bus station, reenacting the fight scene the whole way there. Y/n couldn’t help but laugh as she punched the air in front of her with a few added sound effects.
“Hey,”Michelle stopped them just before the bus stop. “you maybe wanna come to my house tonight?”
She cracked a smile, “I’d love to.”
They say a person’s room often reveals a lot about them. This much was true about Michelle’s. Every surface was adorned with stacks of books except a small designated area for academic trophies. Crammed in the small space left on her dresser were three framed photos. One was of her family all gathered around a Christmas tree, another a photo of Midtown’s Academic team. The last one caught y/n’s eye, Michelle was holding the camera while Peter had his arm wrapped around her shoulders. They both grinned up at y/n who had taken the photo in her hands.
“I’m sorry for the mess I don’t really have visitors.”
At the sound of Michelle’s voice, she thrust the photo back into its place. The bookworm emerged in the doorway with her arms overflowing with snacks.
Y/n pointed at the photo, “So you and Peter huh?”
“Oh um no,”her eyes focused on her sock clad feet. “We’re just friends.”
“I’m not sure what you’re into but I got some movies that aren’t Star Wars, if you wanna watch those?”she laughed.
“Yea that’d be great!”
After two movies and a ton of snacks, the two girls laid on their backs staring into the abyss before them and listening to the sounds of the city outside Michelle’s window. A soft silence settled in the darkness around the bed. Y/n could sense the slowing of the girl’s breaths and prayed that Michelle was a heavy sleeper. Yet it was quite the opposite. Minutes passed before y/n attempted to slide off the mattress, when she was met with Michelle’s sleepy voice.
“Can I confess something?”she mumbled into the darkness.
Internally she did a victory dance, confessions were good. Y/n hummed beside her and felt the shift in the mattress as Michelle rolled over to face her. She followed in suit, her eyes finding Michelle’s dark ones.
“I’ve never really had a girls’ night.”
She feigned a gasp, “Really?”
A pain settled in her chest, it was her first girls’ night as well, and she was spending it to get information to kill the girl’s best friend. This was all kinds of fucked up on y/n’s part.
“Yea I don’t really like the female population at Midtown, but you’re different. I don’t know how just yet but you are.”
Y/n’s stomach sank. She was different because she wasn’t meant to be a regular teenager. Her sole purpose was to serve her father. Even if that meant to kill Peter Parker.
“Thanks?”
“I’m still new with this compliment thing. Give me a break.”
“Goodnight Michelle.”y/n chuckled.
“MJ.”
“What?”
She rolled over to face y/n again. Her eyes shone in the moonlight filtering through her window and a rare toothy smile was plastered on her face.
“You can call me MJ.”
A/n: After this I kinda want to turn it into an MJ x reader fic lmao.

oh i used kpopmart for the anniversary album! and they were so cute they sent me a photo of my package when they shipped it but that was the first time i used them and i think this only the 2nd time ive ever used mmt just to test out some new places -konjoong
@konjoong honestly i only rotate between kpopmart/kpoptown/ktown4u i’ve never really bought them elsewhere online but they are all really good! it just depends on which one gives me the best deal, now kpopmart has an option for CAD so it’s easier for me but for ktown4u i have to convert it from USD to CAD so i have to factor that in too~ before it was kpoptown that gave the cheapest option but now it’s kpopmart cause they give the cheapest shipping for ems/dhl and they’re the only one out of the three that actually have dhl~ i knew about mmt but i was iffy about it but considering i heard they oversold and had to cancel orders and that they jack up their shipping, i can tell i’ll probably never order from there

San Francisco City Hall Photographer
Choosing a wedding photographer is one of the most important decisions you'll make for your wedding. You want to find someone who will capture your day in a way that reflects your relationship, personality, and style.
So what should you look for in a wedding photographer? Here are some things to consider:
Do they have experience?
If they don't have any professional photos posted online, it might be a red flag. Sure, there are lots of people out there who take great pictures but they're not necessarily professional photographers. Look at their website and check out their portfolio before hiring them to ask questions if anything seems off or unclear.
Do they have an eye for detail?
Some photographers just aren't as detail-oriented as others; they may not notice things like loose buttons or crooked ties or minor imperfections in flower arrangements (even though these things matter!). Make sure your photographer has an eye for detail after all, this is one of their jobs!
Ask About Their Approach
Every photographer has their own style and approach to wedding photography. Some photographers are more focused on capturing candid moments while others prefer traditional portraits and posed shots. If you know what kind of photos you want, it will help narrow down your search.
Check Their Reviews
Most photographers will list their reviews (and awards!) on their website or Facebook page so you can see what past customers think about them before booking your session. Look for reviews that mention specific things like lighting or posing techniques to get an idea of how they work during sessions and whether they're able to deliver what you're looking for as clients tend to mention these things specifically when reviewing their experience with a photographer online!
Don't base your decision on price alone. Sure, it's tempting to go with the cheapest option, but cheaper photographers often deliver lower-quality images. If you're on a budget, consider waiting until later in the year when prices tend to drop.
Ask questions during your consultation interview. A good photographer should be able to explain how they'll capture each moment as well as provide sample albums or photos so you can get an idea of what they can do for you. Some photographers may even offer free engagement sessions or proofs so you can see how they work together before booking them for your wedding day.
Be sure that their style matches yours — especially if you plan to incorporate personal touches into your wedding photos like props or outfits! For example, if you're going for more candid shots then maybe it's not.
Rachel Levine Photography: San Francisco City Hall Wedding Photographer
Rachel Levine Photography is a San Francisco City Hall wedding photographer that specializes in capturing the most genuine and candid moments of your wedding day. We are committed to providing you with the highest quality photography, while ensuring that your experience is fun, relaxed and stress-free.
Our approach is simple: we want you to enjoy every moment of your day, so we work hard to make sure that you don’t have to worry about anything except having fun with your family and friends.
The result? A beautiful collection of images that tell your story — as it happened — in a way no one else can.

Terryn checked the text once more and glanced at the clock in the upper right corner.
[From Terryn] 7pm, Movie tonight @ 8. Be ready
That was what he had written Chris, his roommate for over seven years, online dating status recently upgraded to husband. It was now 8:30, far past the time they were scheduled to be in the middle of enjoying their bi-monthly Date Night.
An unacceptable deviation from their predestined course as far as he was concerned. This was a tradition Chris had started since before they had even gotten together. In the early years, the military had taken its toll on the former nurse’s personal life, and he’d found himself alone with people whose schedules always seemed to conflict with his own. But that didn’t stop the dark days from coming when Chris was a bundle of manic energy barely held together in physical form by old ducktape and chicken wire. During those moments, he’d wanted. Needed, to go out somewhere, anywhere beyond the four-walled prison that made up their apartment. The only problem was he’d needed his plus one, because, when he was joined by a companion he hadn't felt quite as alone.
Terryn had agreed readily enough, not just because it meant free food(though this was a perk), but also he’d felt a bizarre sense of responsibility for his roommate. He had not regretted making the decision.
Fast-forward a few years and a ton of mutual pining and deep soul-searching later, and through it all there was not a date that they had missed.
Chris seemed accepting enough of the delay, drumming his hands on the lobby table while he played Roblox on his cellphone and surreptitiously scanned the crowd for anyone who might be taking undue interest in them, Terryn, on the other hand, was still, eyebrows furrowed, arms crossed over his chest, and quietly incensed.
The theater had managed to overbook their seating, and now he and his partner had been made to wait two and a half hours before they finally saw the damn film. They had received superior accommodation for their troubles, but that was hardly a benefit when factoring the time they could've spent literally anywhere else.
If the cinema had bothered to call, hell, even shoot off a text message or an email, just to let them know that plans had changed, it would have been one thing, a disappointment, but not one he couldn’t have rolled with.
The date would still be on; obviously, he wouldn't have canceled this on Chris, not when the guy looked forward to these things like a kid on Christmas, but there were better places to spend one's time than a noisy theater lobby.
He could have made dinner for them both before they’d set out at the very least, then he wouldn’t be sitting here grumpy and hungry. The only thing keeping him from paying for the overpriced nachos was the thought of what the ingredients had been sitting out in the open, congealing in a cruddy Frankensteinian combination of aged mystery meat and what he supposed was meant to pass as cheese would do to his digestive system.
This meant Chris also went without because Terryn would never subject someone he cared for to food he'd never feed himself. Chris hadn’t shown any interest in the menu, but if they had been in a decent place, he would have already ordered a few appetizers and shoved them in Chris’ direction. He wouldn’t eat everything on his plate, but an attempt was made, and anything was an improvement over nothing at all.
And, to be frank, He hated depriving Chris of food when the man didn’t seem to eat all that much in the first place.
Chris might not eat as much as Terryn felt he should, but he knew his partner could appreciate an attempt at a homemade gourmet dinner. After all who wouldn't enjoy a meal handcrafted by himself, using vegetables cut to perfection and stored inside cans for an extended shelf life, prepared with meats not yet considered unsalvageable, all prepared from a traditional recipe passed through generations of internet users, and stolen straight from the food website with the highest rating Terryn could find? It would have been relatively cheap, and they'd have both been fed at the very least.
Some might joke that he shared a few traits too many with Spongebob's Mr. Krabs, but unlike the crustacean, he could cook on a budget and no one had ever gotten food poisoning on his watch.
He wasn't confident this particular cinema could boast the same, if whatever he was meant to be looking at under the heating lamp was any indication, he recognized the nachos, it was hard to mistake tortilla chips after all, but number of things, one of which might have once been a corndog, were shriveled up beyond recognition.
If he hadn't already prepaid, hadn’t already promised Chris he’d get him this movie he’d have tried to convince his partner they were better off eating out tonight instead (Denny’s was usually relatively cheap and was open 24/7) and downloading the movie illegally to soothe a steadily growing need for petty revenge.
If these people caused a break in their long-held tradition, not only would he be writing a nasty letter to the manager, he would follow that up by typing up a brutal review to anyone, from Yelp to Google Maps, willing to accept his missives. He could not control how the day went, but he did have that happy power to make them regret this day.
Next time, they’d do something more straightforward. Maybe take a drive to a city they’d never been before, take a bunch of selfies Terryn wouldn’t care for but Chris would happily print. Later on, he'd add them to the growing collection of photo albums they had created together(bonus points if the places had any historical value), rent a room at the cheapest hotel they could find, and watch Netflix She-Ra while Chris cuddled up to him in his pajamas. That would have been a nice day.
Instead, Terryn had promised they’d go out to the movies.
“Just think of it,” he’d said earlier that very morning, sleep not yet chased from his voice. “You, me, and the Big Screen.” He hadn’t been as interested in the ordeal as Chris, but he’d wanted to make him happy. “No worries. No interruptions.” Terryn had meant those words, and they’d turned him into a liar. Chris had believed him because there was no reason not to, the shorter of the two was a man of his word.
He watched the numbers on his phone change from 9:00 to 9:01 and wondered if he should surrender to Chris’ demands on Facebook messenger challenging him to a Player vs. Player battle on Pokemon Go.
It was inevitable that Chris would win any match the two set themselves to as the game expected him to spend real-world currency and he’d neglected his team as a result. The thought of keeping Chris contented and distracted was the only thing that honestly made him consider it.
Their waitress came by their table and frowned at the pair who had ordered nothing but the water when it had been offered freely as they waited. He could feel her giving them pitying looks and hear the whispers of the other employees as they went about their tasks.
“Can I get you anything, boys?” The waitress, an attractive thirty-something, who stands next to their table, a notepad in her hand, prepared to jot down anything they might ask. Terryn considers the question if they ordered the theatre would benefit, but she’s been walking by, dutifully refilling their glasses with water every time she’d seen them emptied. He didn’t appreciate being made to wait, but he could be moved by decent customer service. He looks at Chris, inviting the man to order whatever he felt he wanted, before going back to check the time.
“Could I have a coffee, please?” Chis asked, and Terryn could practically hear the smile in his tone. She nodded, marking it dutifully on her notepad and frowns at the two.
“I’m sorry you boy have had to wait so long.” She says, her voice seemed genuinely apologetic. “Thank you for being so patient.” She says this with a curtsey and turns around when they both tell her that waiting was no trouble.
“It’s no trouble.” He echoes, feeling the lie eat away at his tongue, relaxing only when Chris stretched his hand across the table and took Terryn’s in his own, and smiling reassuringly at him.
The redhead takes a deep breath before sitting up, posture ramrod straight once more. He watches their waitress pass through the double doors that led to the kitchen, and he fervently prayed there would be nothing wrong with the coffee she brought back.
Chris’ grip on his hand tightens, catching his attention, and the man proceeds to give him a wicked smile. It’s the only warning he gets before a weight slides seductively against his inner thigh. It’s only his steady self-control that prevents him from jolting at the touch.
That had been a prosthetic leg touching him with familiarly he’d only ever afforded to one person.
He frowned across the table and Chris smiled, innocent as a newborn duckling. Fitting since he’d never trusted ducks in the first place.
There weren’t many patrons, most who walked within their field of vision were viewers moving to and from the concession stands and the packed theaters but the idea that even one person could have seen, well. It didn’t bare thinking of, to be honest.
Chris makes a beckoning motion and just like that he’s walking towards the restrooms, the one in the middle that says ‘Gender-Neutral.’
The doors swung open even as Terryn wondered if following the man was in his best interests.
He noticed immediately upon entering that it was a one-person stall. Chris quickly locked the door behind him.
A shiver struck him straight in the stomach, part fear, part something else as he registered how very loud the pull of the other man’s zipper sounded in the echoes of the bathroom despite the thumping base from the theater. “Chris…”
“You looked tense in there,” Chris said, a coy smirk playing on his face, watching his companion through those stunning eyes. “I thought perhaps I could help you loosen some of that pressure?” Terryn gives Chris a fresh once over, and suddenly there seemed entirely too much space between them. The shiver that’d started up in his belly deepens into a sizzle that rocketed along his spine. Chris wasn’t the most attractive man he’d ever met, but damn him for a deceiver if he ever said the man didn’t touch him in ways no other could. “And if I decline?” “Then I suppose we’ll just be returning to much of the same,” Chris says, and he’s already undoing the buttons to his collared shirt as he allows Terryn to back him up against the wall. His eyes are wide and he holds Terryn’s gaze steadily until they’re lined up, so close a breath makes their bodies touch. “Unless you’ll let me poké battle you into your early grave.” He grins mischievously. Terryn slips a hand under the open zipper of Chris’ winter coat, his palm settling against the man’s taut stomach. The light fabric of Chris’ shirt whispers along skin under Terryn’s touch. “Maybe later,” Terryn comment, and yeah, perhaps he will let Chris slaughter his team later if the man was so enthused by the prospect. Terryn runs his hand down to get a feel at what Chris is hiding in his pants, and the look in his lover’s eyes when he palms him is worth trouble alone. Chris is taller than him, so he takes a handful of that shirt and nudges that soft mouth open with his own. “You like the thought of handing my butt to me, Chris?” He asked, still referencing the game, but leaving his words open for euphemism. "You know it." There’s a challenge in his eyes and a smirk on his lips that Terryn finds captivating. Outside of Chris, Terryn’s never met a gay man so comfortable in his own sexuality before. His palm shapes the shaft thickening under his touch, and he feels the quiver in the press of Chris’ leg against his own. A firm squeeze brings an aftershock, and he considers sucking Chris off until the man’s legs damn well buckle. But then there was no doubt they’d get caught. The prospect of getting caught was probably what set this particular idea off in Chris’ mind. Terryn knew that. But there was more to it. The idea of being outside, where anyone could hear them realize what they were doing after they’d been figuratively screwed over by the theater made it exciting. Chris would only be getting this one time out of him, and then never again. All the buttons of Chris’ shirt are opened now, and he’s tugging both it and the coat free from his arms. Chris looks good when he’s all mussed up, and Terryn’s pretty sure that he's never going to see that darn winter coat and not think about how well Chris looks right now in this moment. "I think it's about time you let me help you,” Chris tells him. “I don’t know…” Terryn responds with a grin, “I’m feeling better with things as they are right now.” He makes it a mission to get Chris thoroughly debauched before his manhood feels the breeze. A nudge to the jaw has Chris tipping his head back, giving it all up as easy as you please. Terryn braces his hands on Chris’ hips to pin him in place and tongues at Chris’ throat until the hands grasping at his shoulders turn shaky and desperate, each clutch of fingers a mute request for friction. He licks a path up to Chris’ ear, breathes a laugh there when Chris’ hips jolt. Lips dragging along the horizontal angle of Chris’ cheek, Terryn goes back in for a kiss, keeping everything slow and thorough, and when Chris melts, he goes like a rumbling avalanche. A hard, full-body shudder chases the low rumble of a groan spilling straight onto Terryn’s tongue and the only thing keeping Chris on his feet is the press of Terryn’s body against his. Feeling lightheaded with all his blood gone south, Terryn can’t keep up the necking forever. He resents his own body for making him come up for air. Hauling their bodies tight, he sucks in a breath that makes his lungs ache and lets Chris have a go at the hollow of his throat. After a moment, he looks down, waits for Chris’ eyes to open, and says, “If you want to continue, you might want to remove the pants.” Dimly, Terryn notes how Chris needs to gather the strength to turn around. He can sympathize; it takes a lot more effort than it should to undo his belt. The idea of Chris fucking Terryn on his knees in the bathroom of a theater, ready and willing, seemed to be turning the man on something fierce, judging by the bulge in the man’s jeans. Chris pushes his trousers down, shorts dragging with them to show his prosthetic leg and bare the meat of his tight little ass. With a mouth pressed to the back of his neck and hands spread at the low of his back, Chris goes up on his toes. A shaky exhale marks the moment Terryn’s cock rubs naked and hot against his skin. "I hope you don’t think I’d consent on taking it raw." Chris' body quivers from a silent laugh, and sure enough, with a little digging around in his trouser pocket, he produces a small tube of Vaseline. Terryn shakes his head and laughs. It shouldn't be so surprising, but it's just so convenient he's at a loss for words. Chris' ankles inch apart like a reminder and Terryn gives him an extra nudge, moving his foot aside until he's indeed spread out and waiting. There’s nothing like making love with someone you cared for, and a rare tickle of nerves flutters around in his belly when Chris is all greased up and ready to go. He discovers that this time he's the one who must steady himself as their bodies line up together.
With the way he arches his back, Terryn knows he seems more than eager for it.
He lets Chris help him with the work regardless, and it's no adversity for Chris to pry Terryn open with a combination of thumb and phallus. Before long, Chris' putting wrinkles into his shirt and jacket, a handful of fabric crushed in his grip to expose both the slant of Terryn’s shoulder blades and the columns of muscle low on his spine. Terryn’s hands smack against the porcelain toilet to give him the leverage to fuck himself onto Chris’ cock, grimacing as he realized what he’d just touched, and planning to cleanse himself fully later on that evening. He enjoys the feel of it pulsing within him and is left frustrated that his body needs time to adjust to taking more than just the head without causing himself unnecessary damage. He feels Chris’ hands reverently traces the curves of his rump with the edge of his thumbs, moving inwards where Terryn’s skin goes from smooth to dusted with dark fuzz to furred with soft curls. Chris spreads his hand out and squeezes where it matters most, all those little hairs catch in the sweat of his palm, and he whispers little endearments that are almost lost beneath the growing compression building up in Terryn’s chest. The heel of his hand digs in past soft flesh to find muscle, and Chris spreads Terryn open until nothing is obscuring the slow strokes that get him closer and closer to bottoming out. When the slide gets more harried, and the lift of Terryn’s hips turns greedier, Chris firms his hold in the back of Terryn’s shirt. The two of them are in Sympatico now, their intimacy firm and slow and finding enough ways to distract themselves from giving in to the urge to just slam it until they come.
They both work to whip it up a little. To keep things exciting: sometimes Chris started randomly hammering at him just to get Terryn’s stability to teeter and make him steady himself, other times it's twisting back and tracing a finger down from Chris' tailbone to where the Vaseline’s got all those little hairs stuck in whorls, they nip and tuck and roll as one.
Chris gives his seat a squeeze again, peeling his hand away and watching in fascination as a ghost of the print appears in the middle of Terryn’s darkly flushed skin, before giving it a little slap.
Terryn kisses him after that last slap across his bottom and knows all the way to the heart of him the two of them are going to treasure this for a long time. He extends an arm out to rest a hand on Chris' shoulder and tries not to think about how things will change.
They work so well together and have for some time now. It’s as hard to conceptualize the future as it is to remember precisely how things were in the past.
So he focuses on the moment as best he can. On the wet sounds they make and his partner's breathing and the gritty burn that comes when Chris grips him firmly and works his johnson with purpose. He slips his hands into the other man's hair and moves, rocking back and forth with his hips and butt to get Chris moaning and enjoy the now before he gives in and finishes the job with enthusiasm.
Pushes out a ragged groan that’s still echoing in his skull when finally his body pulls, rolling in those slow waves that washed away tension as if it had never been.
Terryn rolls half on top of him and returns the favor with a rough hand and slow kisses, and when they’re both sated and sticky, he realizes how very much it’s like stepping onto the edge of a high cliff and having faith instead of a chute.
He wants to believe more than anything that Chris feels as strongly, that  Chris is his Chute.
Chris blinked sleepily at Terryn as he stood up again, helping Chris tuck his prosthetic leg back into his pants and kissing him deeply just in time for someone to knock on the door. He smirked as Chris scrambled to pull up, covering his laugh with a hand. “Stimulating enough for you?”
“Maybe a little too exciting.” Chris shook his head as the two rapidly began cleaning the evidence of what they had done.
He laughed, wrapping an arm around Chris’ waist and pulling him toward the door, thankfully no one was waiting for them outside. “Come on, I think your coffee is in danger of going cold.”

IS CLOUD STORAGE THE RIGHT SOLUTION TO BACKUP YOUR PHOTOS?
Photographers – be it amateurs or professionals need the perfect storage solution to store & backup their photos. Storing photos on physical drives like pen drives, flash drives, or external drives can be a solution, but it isn’t the most secure one.
Tumblr media
It is very easy to copy your photos on physical drives, but if those drives crash, then your photos are forever gone. Most physical drives can be unreliable in the long term and become unusable. If you’re looking at preserving your photos & memories then you need to look to the cloud to store photos. Is cloud storage the ultimate solution for you?
Here are a few “ask for an answer” kind of questions that you need to pen down before considering online photo storage.
 ·         Are you looking at free cloud storage, or are you willing to pay for premium features?
·         Do you want to consider cloud storage for all your photos or specific ones? How much data do you need?
·         How often do you need to access your photos?
·         What kind of photo file formats do you have?
·        Are those RAW or JPEG files?
·         Do you have a fast internet connection? Uploading large files on the web can be daunting
There are a few cloud storage solutions like Google Photos, iFCloud, iFLens, One Drive, etc. Many of these online cloud storage solutions do offer free storage space to back up your files. This space can be anywhere from 5GB to 15GB free space on registration. There are cloud storage platforms that tend to compress your photos, which could create a resolution or quality loss.
Fortunately, there are cloud storage solutions that help users store photographs select bespoke plans for a nominal fee.
A few options that you can consider as good cloud storage platforms.
 Dropbox
Individuals can leverage two plans for individuals Plus & Professional. 2TB and 3TB storage. Good sync facility. File recovery. Smart Sync. There’s a myriad of features that can be leveraged or tried for free in the professional plan. 2GB storage can be leveraged for free. Dropbox isn’t the most popular when it comes to plan pricing, but if you’ve got terabytes of photo data then Dropbox can be a good option for you.
iFCloud or iFLens
iFCloud gives users 10GB free space to upload a decent amount of photos at no data download cost. As size of the photos can be large, users can leverage a maximum file size upload limit. Users also have the leverage to create albums for photos and have users comment on them. With a storage lover plan that costs $9.99/mo, users can take advantage of unlimited storage, desktop access, desk sync application, enhanced search, and more.
Mediafire
Mediafire is one of the cheapest cloud storage options to upload photos. The basic plan consists of 10GB free space for photo upload. If you’re looking at paid plans, then the PRO plan gives a single user 1TB storage space at $3.75/month which is billed annually or $5 per month. With long term storage, 20GB bandwidth per file, complete folder downloads, remote uploads, file drop, & more users can easily store large photo stacks.
Google Drive
Google Drive is one of the most affordable cloud solutions for photo storage. With a free sign-up, users can leverage 15GB free storage space. From there on users can pay as little as $1.99/mo for storage space of 100GB, and a huge 1TB space for $9.99/mo. Users can organize their photos in cloud space through centralized administration, data loss prevention, etc. Store your photos in the drive, share them with other collaborators and work smarter with other apps.
Wrapping it up
Eventually, there is no holy-grail or a one-size-fits-all thumb rule. Storing your photos on cloud storage platforms that are premium is key to preserving all your photos and memories. Free storage space is a good option to store a decent photo count, but if its terabytes of photo data then a premium plan would be a better option. Backing up photos can be inexpensive, and cloud storage can be the most viable solution or point of backup. We hope this article gives you an insight into what kind of cloud storage is absolute for your photo uploads.
