The hylians not building the tech makes so much more sense - because I was actually losing my mind trying to think how they could have in that short time (thank you @peepthatbish for letting me believe they were the ones who built them for so long/lh)

lokomo being similar to the zonai is a great take - and honestly it makes me wish for another game where we see the aftermath and If the tech vanishes like the others or not, or the other way and the hylians go full send with it and end up with a modern(ish) level of tech.

but also don't apologise for talking about them!!! love talking about anything zelda related and it makes me realise how much more I need to learn about some of the games lore - especially if I'm planning to write for it at some point!

and that last point? oh the adult timeline is so damn hopeful and it's finally free of the curse, it's able to bloom in ways that old hyrule simply couldn't - and won't for as long as the curse remains plus it opens a ton of interesting paths to look into and ideas to work with

Currently thinking about how hyrule never seems to advance technologically in any way that lasts for any time (sheika and zonai die, sky's stuff is gone) as long as there is a hero chosen by the goddesses who uses the mastersword
