OnePlus 9RT Review: Better Late Than Never
OnePlus 9RT Review: Better Late Than Never
The OnePlus 9RT is the latest and most likely the last smartphone we’ll see in the company’s 9 series, and if you’re not all that excited about it, we don’t blame you. The ‘T’ refreshes of OnePlus phones usually bring minor improvements to design and performance. The OnePlus 7T (Review) was an exception, but the 9RT is exactly that. As I already highlighted in my first impressions of the phone,…

OnePlus 9RT 5G review: Much like OnePlus 9 without Hasselblad camera system
The ‘T’ edition smartphones by Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus bring incremental upgrades over predecessors. It is the same case with the new OnePlus 9RT 5G. Though the upgrades bring it closer to the OnePlus 9 (review), it being cheaper is the result of cost cutting measures such as replacing the megapixel-rich and distortion free ultra-wide-angle camera sensor with a regular one, and shedding the Hasselblad colour calibration system entirely. I will come to it later in the camera section of the review, let’s first know what is new in the OnePlus 9RT 5G.
Design
The OnePlus 9RT 5G is a cross between OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 9. The noticeable change here is the new colour themes on the back cover. The phone looks dazzling in the new ‘hacker black’ (review unit) colour theme, reminiscent of sandstone back covers of the early OnePlus models. However, it is not the same in terms of touch and feel. Instead of the grainy and matte texture of the original sandstone back covers, the new iteration feels silky smooth to touch. It also has some glitter to it, which shines differently in different light settings. Apart from new colour themes, the phone’s design is similar to the OnePlus 9R. It is on the heavier side but not unwieldy, has comfortable ergonomics, and boasts sturdy build with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and aluminium frame.

Some Interesting Smartphone Launches !
OnePlus 10R
OnePlus 9RT is out now and its performing out of expectations from the information shared by reviewers in their initial impressions and thought. I felt so like they are doing great compared to their competitor Samsung S21 FE. I can assure that 9RT is worth than S21 FE for this price for sure. Anyways let's comeback to the launch of 10R. What made me interesting to this phone is the chipset and the performance from 9RT. Yeah talking about the chipset here they uses Dimensity 9000 which makes a standout for the current situation. I have already done an article on Snapdragon 8Gen 1 chipset's launch and specs, where i have noted a problem of heating. Now experts states that it's the problem with manufacturer - Samsung. As you all know Samsung is the manufacturer of Snapdragon chipset from the launch of Snapdragon 888. And Snapdragon is facing major issue of over heating in mobile phones using both 888 and 8th gen 1 chipsets. So this is the chance for MediaTek to overlap Snapdragon in upcoming devices. Actually Snapdragon has got the potential and I can recommend those devices using them once they switch back the manufacturer to TSMC. So that's a considerable check point in upcoming devices for the time being.
Spec Sheet
The OnePlus 10R is could feature an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rates and at least 8GB RAM paired to 128GB internal storage. The device could be launching towards the end of June, largely because of the delays that OnePlus faced in the release of its predecessor, the OnePlus 9RT in India. The device was originally slated to roll-out in October but issues around chipset shortage and Oxygen OS 12 stability pushed it to January 2022. The OnePlus 9RT is priced in the Rs.42,999 to Rs. 46,999 range and it was rumored that the upcoming OnePlus 10R (or would it be OnePlus 10RT in India?) could be had for a cheaper price due to the MediaTek chipset. So I think it would be priced around 35-38K.
Unexpected Google Products
Pixel 6a
The Pixel 6a is set to debut sometime in May 2022. Reports suggest that the upcoming Pixel 6a might have a similar design as the new Pixel 6 series with camera modules placed at a horizontal strip and a triple-tone colour scheme on the rear side. Rumours indicate that the phone could be the first affordable one from Google’s inventory to ditch an 3.5mm audio jack. The phone is expected to get a 6.2-inch OLED display. It could have Google’s in-house Tensor GS101 chipset on board. The same silicon sits under the vanilla Pixel 6 phone. The Pixel 6a will likely get at least 8GB of RAM. On the camera front, it is tipped to get a 50-mp sensor and an ultra-wide sensor. The phone might equip an 8-megapixel camera upfront. The Pixel 6a will flaunt a glass back and measure a dimension of 152.2 x 71.8 x 8.7mm. Actually this device remind me of the FE phones by Samsung but here Google really fooled all of us. Always India and some other countries always unlisted out of their best products and services. I can assure that this Pixel 6a is good but it's just glitter to our eyes from google. Always the gold is Pixel 6 and pro. I won't recommend to buy one of those. Let the phone come to hands let's see their performance and worth for the price or not.
Google is also rumoured to bring its first smartwatch around the same time. The Pixel smartwatch to debut on May 26. He even shared an alleged image of the Google Pixel smartwatch that showed the gadget feature a sleek round dial tied in three colourful straps- Blue, Orange, and Grey. The design somewhat reiterates Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Active 2, although the latter has a slightly thick body. Actually I'm really looking forward to this to see how really good the wear OS works. We already discussed about the experience and all earlier. They may also give updates on upcoming products on that day. Let's see how these all comes out for the time being it's - Edwin K Jayesh.

Realme GT 2 Pro 5G review: Great maiden flagship, but not without caveats
Chinese smartphone maker Realme forayed into India’s premium smartphone market with the launch of the Realme GT 2 Pro 5G. Priced at Rs 49,999 (base model), the smartphone boasts premium construction, top-notch specifications, flagship-grade camera system, big capacity battery with fast-charge support, and Android 12 operating system-based Realme UI 3.0. On paper, there is a lot to like about the Realme GT 2 Pro 5G. But how does it fare in comparison to segment’s bigwigs such as the Xiaomi 11T Pro (review), OnePlus 9RT (review), and Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (review)? Let’s find out:
Design
Realme likes to experiment with the design of its smartphones. While some of its designs are outright bizarre, few look novel and attract attention. Thankfully, the design of the Realme GT Pro 2 is of the latter type. Designed in collaboration with Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukusawa, the Realme GT 2 Pro boasts a paper-like back cover made of bio-based polymer material. It looks premium and feels good to touch. Besides, the phone boasts an aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the display. Complementing the design is its thin and lightweight build, which is a trait uncommon to find in most premium smartphones. While the overall design is remarkable, the lack of any sort of ingress protection for water and dust resistance leaves one asking for more.

OnePlus 9T This Year? Here's Why OnePlus May Discontinue Mid-Life Upgrade
Following the path while launching OnePlus 8 series when company decided not to launch ‘PRO’ models with its T variant. The rumors are at the rife that even now the company will not launch Pro model alongside OnePlus 9T
It feels OnePlus is deviating from its own tradition when it launched OnePlus 7T Pro in 2019, but with 8 series, the company didn’t launch a OnePlus 8T Pro last year.
Oneplus 9T
According to a leaker on Weibo via TechDroider, the company is likely to launch OnePlus 9T with 120Hz LTPO E4 Flexible Screen that we witnessed in OnePlus 9 Pro. However, the twist is OnePlus 9T may come with a full HD+ Display unlike OnePlus 9 Pro of QHD+ screen. The leaker also claims about the resolution of OnePlus 9T which will get knocked down to 1080p as compared to the OnePlus 9 Pro of 1440p
OnePlus likely to use Samsung's 120Hz LTPO E4 Flexible Screen in the OnePlus 9T. 1080P Resolution + Variable RR. There's no 9T
Samsung Display
AMOLED is a display technology and stands for Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diodes. It is a type of OLED display and is used in smartphones.
Samsung phones have the best screens in the smartphone business. They're sharp, bright, color-rich, and they come with HDR.
Unlike LCD displays, AMOLED panels don't have a backlight. This means each pixel is powered separately. This also means the pixel can be completely turned off to render black color. Long story short, AMOLEDs have deep blacks, high contrast ratio, and mostly offer better HDR performance.
AMOLED
It is a type of OLED display and is used in smartphones. Super AMOLED is an AMOLED display that has an integrated
touch
function: Instead of having a layer that recognizes touch on the top of the screen, the layer is integrated into the screen itself. Super AMOLED provides an exceptional viewing experience for you.
One Plus
OnePlus was founded on 16 December 2013 by former Oppo vice-president
Pete Lau
and
Carl Pei
. According to Chinese public records, OnePlus' only institutional shareholder is Oppo Electronics.
Lau denied that OnePlus was a
wholly-owned subsidiary
of Oppo and stated that Oppo Electronics and not Oppo Mobile (the phone manufacturer) is a major investor of OnePlus and that they are "in talks with other investors", although OnePlus has confirmed it uses Oppo's manufacturing line and shares part of the supply chain resources with Oppo.
The company's main goal was to design a smartphone that would balance high-end quality with a lower price than other phones in its class, believing that users would "Never Settle" for the lower-quality devices produced by other companies.
Lau explained that "we will never be different just for the sake of being different. Everything done has to improve the actual user experience in day-to-day use." He also showed aspirations of being the "
Muji
of the tech industry", emphasizing its focus on high-quality products with simplistic, user-friendly designs. Continuing Lau's association with the platform from the
Oppo N1
OnePlus entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with
Cyanogen
Inc.
to base its products' Android distribution upon a variant of the popular custom ROM
CyanogenMod
and use its trademarks outside of China.
Newly launched-Oneplus 9RT
OnePlus 9RT has been tipped to launch in India and China in October. A new report claims that the Chinese company is working on a new smartphone for its ‘T' series. With the OnePlus 8 series, the company decided to do things differently and released a single OnePlus 8T model. Now, it seems to be doing the same with the OnePlus 9 series but will reportedly be using the OnePlus 9R as its foundation. Some of the specifications for this OnePlus 9RT model have been tipped as well.
Furthermore, the report states that OnePlus was hoping to have released a closed beta of OxygenOS 12 by now but a large number of bugs with the build has prevented that from happening. The entire software team is apparently working on fixing the bugs and getting the close beta out to testers by end of this monthyoutube:
https://youtu.be/R4uUg7AS_tU
Oneplus 8T
Talking about the processor, OnePlus 8T is powered by Snapdragon 865, 12 GB RAM and dual stereo speakers with Dolby atmos.
It has a powerful 4,500 mAh battery so rest assured, you can kiss your charging woes goodbye. It also comes with Warp Charge 65 (65W wireless charging) which allows you to get a day's worth of power in just 15 minutes.
Next up, the Chinese smartphone maker unveiled the new OnePlus 8T. Colour, material, and finish play an important role in the design of 8T. The Oneplus 8T looks more like a nerdish than a flagship OnePlus T series. It is as light as 188g which should offer a good hand feel and also be compact.
The OnePlus 8T is available in two color variants - Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver.
The OnePlus 8T has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a flat fluid AMOLED display. It has a peak brightness of 1,100 nits, 240 Hz sampling rate and HDR+display.
