you know i used to think i didn’t really have sensory issues but then i realized that the way i feel about wearing shoes is Not Normal
#i hate it i hate it so much#i stubbed my toe so many times as a kid because i would just. refuse to wear shoes#one time i had to get a tetanus shot bc i wasn’t wearing shoes outside and i cut myself in rusty metal#i was recently diagnosed with a neuroma (inflamed nerve) in my foot#and for treating it you’re supposed to avoid barefoot walking#i literally said i’d rather deal with the pain than avoid barefoot walking#(tbf the pain isn’t constant)#and omg in middle/high school sometimes i would walk my neighbors dog#and sometimes i’d do it barefoot#also in middle school sometimes i would just take my shoes off and walk through the hallways barefoot#i got yelled at like twice for it#which. in hindsight yeah idk why i did that that was weird#uuhh i think that’s all the anecdotes i got for now
