Analyzing König's presonality

Let’s start with the fact that König is not shy or self-conscious.

Social anxiety in his case is expressed rather by aggression towards others. Aggression is his defense mechanism (it is different for all people, for some may be a smile, for example).

He can treat people coldly, as well as rudely, out of a subconscious fear of getting into an awkward situation, of being in a vulnerable position. Of course, he is unlikely to like being in a crowd, but this does not mean that he will start to panic and blush, after all, he is a disciplined soldier.

However, König is active and restless, as evidenced by the fact that he was not accepted as a sniper not only because of his height, but also because of his inability to stay in place for a long time. (This is suits his stormy temper)

His expressiveness is especially noticeable in the way he speaks, and Jim Boeven conveys this perfectly. Just compare the original voice acting by Konig and, for example, the Russian one. In Russian, his voice is much calmer and more direct, more balanced, which is out of character.

König is impudent, proud, sharp-tongued. “Pick your guts off the floor” or “and they said that I couldn’t be a sniper” – he’s literally spitting bile, and this still hurts him, as a consequence of the fact that he’s trying to look like a sniper, making himself a mask with his own hands. This desire meant a lot to him, and this is to some extent his personal protest. König did not fully accept the refusal, did not resign himself.

König is brave, even somewhat passionate, not afraid to rush straight into the heat: “get me back into the fight”, “I’m ready for another round”, “don’t worry, leave the heavy lifting to me”.

However, he understands the advantage his height and build give him and uses it. Moreover, he knows how good he is on the battlefield, and does not hesitate to say about it: “finally, some worthy adversaries”, “they are no match for me”. These phrases reveal a need for personal self-affirmation due to his childhood bullying and humiliation. König compensates for the lack of recognition with arrogance and pride, as even his name (King in German) suggests.

This, like his defense mechanism, can cause a disdainful attitude towards other soldiers: “who taught you to shoot?”, “not bad, I’ve seen better”, “let’s be honest, it’s better off in my hands”, “hands off, it’s mine”, curses are also present.

Some fans for some reason see him as a big child, few others as a brutal killer.

König is a fighting unit, a man trained to kill, that’s true, but that doesn’t mean he’ll kill you for some little thing. He can, of course, but he won’t. König is a hostage rescue specialist, His task is not only to eliminate, but also to save.

Pay attention to his pose in the menu. König does not look shy and cute. On the contrary, his movements are calm, even relaxed, he demonstrates confidence and strength. He raises his hand and points at the player, as if to say “Pikachu, I choose you”, or “we’re gonna make this day”

His phrases sound friendly towards us, like “together we should be victorious”, or “you can be in my team any day” and even “with you until the end”

He seems to be encouraging his comrade, with whom he is now leading a mission. König is closed and cold, but loyal and kind towards his people. Due to his character, I doubt that he has many people whom he truly values, such a person will be very attentive and selective towards those who surround him, therefore he seems to me be a loyal and reliable friend to those whom he truly considers them his loved ones.

Summary: König is an interesting character with a psychological point of view, with his own bee in his bonnet.

Closed, arrogant, cocky, loyal, devoted.

This moment is from June 2015. A year which shows an obvious shift in their dynamic. There's a lot of crushing, testing the waters and realization of feelings from both parties. But it is more noticeable when it comes to Jungkook. There are moments where he's trying to flirt with Jimin, to get a reaction out of him. There are moments when he does things impulsively to get Jimin's attention

He's become more clingier to Jimin. Seeking him out and enjoying the physical closeness. He teases him. Enjoys making him flustered. He's happy to see that he has that affect on Jimin.

He becomes a bit annoyed when he sees Jimin being close to other members even though he knows its all innocent affection. And then his smile is back in place when Jimin turns to him. This is in no way Jungkook being the toxic jealous guy. NO. This is him being young and not knowing if what he's feeling for Jimin will be reciprocated or not. Not knowing if the attentiveness Jimin showing him is because he's an affectionate guy or because Jimin feels a special type of way towards Jungkook.

How can we forget this moment 😂

Also, we have all seen this interview and this comment by Tae. What stands out to me the most is:

1) Jungkook is shy when Jimin says he finds him cute

2) His interest in knowing Jimin's reaction to Tae's comment. He really wanted to know Jimin's opinion. He was attentively listening to catch a hint

He is a kid who's experiencing something which is frowned upon in their country. Also, there's no one he can open up to regarding THIS. The only person he can being the person for whom he's having all those feelings

These were Jungkook's words when he was asked to describe Jimin

He starts giving Jimin special treatment. Wants Jimin to notice how he sees him differently. He was literally wearing his heart on his sleeve

How can we discuss about 2015 and not talk about these two moments

These are only some of the moments from 2015 which I feel like needed mentioning. There is obviously more than this. To me it all feels like a movie. The leads meeting, becoming best friends, falling in love. They're both so young here but brave enough to follow their hearts. All for love

Its funny how Ichihime fans compare their pathetic ship with Naruhina to make it seem more valid. Honestly, those two ships have nothing in common. Naruto has always believed in Hinata's strength. He outright invites her to battle with him in the War. When has Ichigo thought Orihime was strong or encouraged her?? He has done all those things for Rukia, the girl he loves. When a boy truly loves a girl, he appreciates her strength. It honestly annoys me When Orihime fans compare her to Hinata when they are not alike at all. Hinata is more like Rukia than any other girl in Bleach. Orihime was an extroverted person who was shy only around Ichigo. Hinata was an introverted person like Rukia. Both Hinata and Rukia were royalties. Both of them had a lot of expectations and burden on them. Both had stoic elder brothers whom they really loved. Neji and Byakuya were initially indifferent or somewhat cruel to their sisters until they got sense beat into them by Naruto and Ichigo. Naruto and Ichigo fought hard to mend the relationship of their girls with their brothers. Only they understood how much the girls were suffering because of their brothers, no one else could understand them like their boys. Their stories are so similar. They grew closer to the Protagonists for how hard they fought for them. Seriously every time Hinata and Rukia are hurt or kidnapped Naruto and Ichigo show resilience they have never shown before. They became better persons due to the influence of their girls. Their girls encouraged them, pulled them out of darkness and became their light. They are also tied by Red String of Fate. When their girls left them, they became depressed. I can go on and on about how similar Hinata and Rukia are and How Naruhina is similar to Ichiruki not Ichihime. There's a reason Naruhina is so popular while Ichihime is bleh. Both Naruhina and Ichiruki are my Otps. When anyone compares Naruhina to Ichihime it just annoys the hell outta me.😒

I've always thought IchiRuki & NaruHina have similarities! Glad someone else sees this! 😭 You even brought up some points I hadn't thought about!

They both also have Sun & Moon symbolisms & official titles. Hinata's colors are purple/lavender & white like Rukia. Ichigo & Naruto have orange & even black? Other similarities with Hinata & Rukia, as u mentioned, are being associated with "princess" like Hinata the Byakugan Princess & Rukia's zanpakuto is called Sode no Shirayuki (Shirayuki is the JP name for Snow White), the Hyuuga heiress & the Kuchiki heiress, & you're so right on the introvert part! Both so brave in the face of danger, willing to sacrifice themselves for those they love... I think they would've gotten along & even admired each other for their resilience & kindness.

Ori & Hinata may have some superficial similarities (pretty & nice big-boobed girl who likes the MC) but it doesn't go farther than that! Hinata & Orihime are very different people. Ichigo & Naruto are very different too. Their dynamics are completely different. NaruHina is very popular & beloved even to this day while IH isn't 🤷‍♀️. Hinata is very popular on her own unlike Ori...

I also can't stand when ppl compare Rukia & Sakura. They also only have superficial similarities; tough, small-breasted, & being the FL of a battle shounen. Their personalities & values are completely different, tho, as well as their dynamics with Ichigo & Naruto. While I came to tolerate Sakura & support SasuSaku, I've never been a fan of hers.

There's actually an amazing meta here in which OP compares Orihime & Sakura & their dynamics with Naruto & Ichigo. They're eerily similar...

It just gets on my nerves when ppl compare NH & IH. I once made a post on most of the major differences between them. I even mentioned how NH & IR could understand each other thru their eyes. I would've liked to elaborate further on these dynamics with manga panels, but I no longer feel like going over it. It's been years, I'm happy with NaruHina, so I'll just leave it at that.

what do you think of tiso x hornet (or just ships involving hornet in general)? i'm pretty neutral on the ship but i'm curious what other people think :)

Aside from the canon couples, I have a few fan ships that I enjoy, but I almost never join a fandom for or because of romantic ships tbh.

With Hollow Knight, the family relationships are what pulled me in and what I tend to focus on.

I'm pretty neutral on the vast majority of fan ships. Hornet x Tiso included.

I have nothing against the ship, I'm sure some people enjoy it. (I actually have no idea how popular this pairing is?) But yeah, it's not for me.

The most I can get on board with when it comes to a romance between the two is maybe Tiso being infatuated with her after meeting her. She is an incredibly quick and powerful warrior who possesses focus and determination. We know that he admires those traits. I can imagine a bit of a one-sided attraction.

On Hornet's end, though, I really struggle to imagine her developing any romantic feelings towards him. Tbh I personally don't think she would have many positive feelings towards him at all.

Tiso came to her kingdom as a warrior seeking glory through combat. Which we know from the official Quirrel comic, makes him the exact type of bug she guards Hallownest from.

Quotes from the comic: "This place is a corpse. It will grant only death. As will I to those who'd seek to desecrate it."

"Yours is the stance of a warrior. Hallownest has already suffered enough like you."

He's also pretty egotistical and brash and while some people might have her argue with him over these flaws I personally don't see her giving any attention to him at all. She seems like she wouldn't waste time on a bug whom she has no respect for.

Then there's the fact that he's a fairly negative person when it comes to most anything outside of battle.

Which, I don't think that type of person would be good for Hornet, who, similarly finds most of her fulfillment through combat and is otherwise surrounded by so much regret and ruin that she is hesitant to be hopeful or think positively about the world.

I don't think she'd be the best match for him either.

When it comes to ships, for me to really get into them, I need the characters involved to improve each other in some way.

My favorite dynamics include these two things:

- opposite or differing personality traits.

- similar goals/beliefs.

The opposite traits help them to balance each other. For instance, one character might be humble and shy while the other is bold, one might be calm while the other is quick to take action. One might be more logical and the other more emotional. All of these attributes can be good, and the characters can help each other when it comes to developing the attribute they struggle with.

The only similarity I really need is for them to have similar overall beliefs/desires/motivations. They need something to connect over, to make it believable.

And if their fundamental beliefs do not align in any way, I can't imagine the relationship would last. (Or even that it would begin in many cases)

There are some cases where beliefs and motivations shift throughout the story so that by the end the two have that connection. Or cases where they do share that connection in the beginning and their relationship disolves as those shifts occur.

I enjoy seeing all types of relationships, but for me to really actively ship something I need to belive the characters improve eachother.

I think Tiso and Hornet have almost the opposite of the dynamic I just described.

Their personality traits are similar. (Confident, brave, serious, no-nonsense, quick to action etc.)

While their goals and beliefs are very different. (Tiso wants to prove his strength and skill as a warrior. A very self-centered goal. While Hornet wants to preserve and protect her home as a way of honoring her family.)

Obviously this doesn't make it a bad ship. It's just not a ship I'm interested in myself.

I have the pleasure of finally releasing into the world my very first Théodred story, set in T.A. 3000 as he is about 22. These themes were long ruminated, but then quickly written under a mad dash of inspiration sparked by a prompt from @inkedmoth :

Théodred and a female healer who comes across as shy and quiet, but who can get bossy with patients who don’t do as they’re told! Théo comes back from a successful assault on an enemy camp, but he’s hiding an injury from his men, either the healer notices and corners him or he tracks her down for help.

In the gatherings held in the marshal’s tent after battles, Waerblith would stand quietly behind the seat of her husband the general. She was there to deliver her reports on the casualties and her plans for the displacement of those who needed continued attention, but once she had done so, she would observe the countenances of all the officers present, watching their expressions in the hope of catching a glimpse of their thoughts. She would take good note of her insights, to later advise her husband on further decisions and appointments. Sometimes she would also nudge the youngest wives as to the best way to restore strength and spirits, when an officer seemed to stagger in silence under the weight of responsibilities and weariness; indeed, sharing the wisdom conferred by nearly forty years of marriage and a long experience of military camps was the task she had dutifully appointed to herself. But that day, it was young captain Théodred who caught her attention. He was clasping his hands over his stomach, never a good sign, and he looked pale, much too pale for the circumstances. He had been congratulated as one of the heroes of the day; it had been a victory that left the other officers joking, stomping their feet and rubbing their hands with pride and satisfaction. The damage in their ranks had been much less than expected, with the enemies pushed way back over the borders and not expected to renew the hostilities anytime soon. Théodred did not yet have a wife whom she could advise on his care, or instruct to bring her reports on his wellbeing. He did not have a mother, either, and his aunt was busy with small babes and a fiery marshal husband of her own; Waerblith would have to sort out this matter herself. As the meeting ended, she quietly shuffled around the gesticulating, laughing officers to catch up with Théodred and put a hand around his elbow. He startled at first, but he soon smiled. ‘Son,’ she said, interrupting his greetings, ‘if there’s something wrong with your stomach, putting on a brave face and toughing it out won’t do you any good. I should like to have a look at that immediately.’

This may differ slightly from my usual missives about playing the violin and new musicians to be aware of (Haydn and Boccerini are to be highly recommended, especially the latter is as yet little known in these parts, though very innovative in his compositions), but I feel I can no longer withhold what troubles me, and have no other place to speak of it:

Though it seemed like a cheesy college rom com at this point you didn’t mind, especially with the way he looked at you. His eyes alone held so much of his emotion, for the most part he remained monotone and unbothered but eyes dont lie. Sometimes his fleeting glances made your heart flutter, and sometimes it made your entire body tense. Those brown eyes could be void of emotion, or full of enchantment gleaming with admiration. That’s all it was, he admired you for your beauty, charisma, even the way you viewed life itself, he was completely enamored of you. So today while you sat in the library studying for your semester finals, you were aware of every stolen glance. His every movement down to the way his fingers picked at the table, you knew he was ridden with anxiety.

“If you keep fidgeting like that I’m scared you’ll start vibrating in your seat.”

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to distract you.”

“If anything you’re keeping me company, especially since you stopped taking notes ten minutes ago.”

“Right, I guess my mind is somewhere else today.”

What bothered him? What didnt bother him would be a shorter list, he was a walking ball of anxiety despite his cold demeanor. Not in the way that had him scared to talk to people, but in the sense he had no idea what he was soing with his life. He felt like his purpose was so unclear, like he was meant for something huge but also nothing at the same time. His mother was kind, brave, and hard working wheras his father was brute, carefree, and aggravating. Such combination in one household had caused him to lose sight of what he wanted because he wanted them to be proud of him. It was difficult taking into account the vast differences between them, it’s not like they were any less in love but it made his aspirations muddy. When he met you however it was like he had certain purposs, suddenly he stopped waiting for the praise to leave the mouth of his parents and started looking to you. Why he hadn’t quite understood until a week ago, you sat infront of the window while it was raining. The library was closing in an hour so the lights had dimmed, you were reading a book for your class and drinking some sort of tea. There was the answer, he could see himself spending nights with you just soaking in each others presence, enjoying the silence and peace between you two. It’d been there the entire time, you had barely spent time apart since you started talking, you just melded together so effortlessly. His heart was set but he didn’t know how to convey such intense feelings, he couldn’t possibly expect you to reciprocate his feelings but he could hope. Would you laugh? Would you push him away? Would you leave him?

“Would you stay… with me?”

“What?”

“Would-… if I told you something, despite what it is would you stay?”

“Of course Kylo, you can trust me.”

Hearts pounded in their cages, eyes locking with one another as time seemed to slow as the words formed on his tongue. Breathing slowed as your skin ran cold, the anticipation was suffocating as you waited for his confession.

“I love you.”

Relief washed over the both of you as his secret had been revealed and your feelings towards him were validated.

“I love you too.”

A smile, shared by the both of you, basking in the purity of the moment.

“Does that mean you’ll go on a date with me?”

“I’d say we’ve been on study dates for months, of course I will.”

But to get to the Shisui of it all:

I don't think he'd know what to do with a girl who cared for him so openly and selflessly. At least, not at first. Shisui has a very clear, defined role in his life, and it is to use his insane capabilities to further the glory of Konoha and the Uchiha clan. He is a shinobi, a protector, a clown for the sake of his cousin, and a very dangerous man. What on earth has he done to earn this guileless affection?

He'd likely assume it's some sort of ploy for...a very long time. If you're tenacious enough, he could begin to entertain it. He could even begin to trust and rely on it, to an extent. I imagine it would become a reprieve of sorts, where he gets to just be Shisui, sans responsibility. It'd be very special to him, and something he'd keep intensely private, I imagine.

For what kind of girl Shisui would like ideally, I'm not so sure. He's so used to being the most capable one in the room and the onus of protection therefore falls on him; he might be a bit relieved if he had someone who could solidly take care of herself. Then again, being that capable means she's a shinobi in her own right and sent out on missions without him, which is a whole different stressor. But a civilian, while safe within the village walls, is completely helpless to the whims of the shinobi who are also within the village walls.

Ultimately, I think he'd like someone who can love and accept him and, at the least, keep up. She doesn't need to be at his level, but let him not be fretting after her in the dust. It'd be nice if he could learn to trust her and she could prove to have earned it, too.

Charlie the Chinchilla and Ezra The Wisp

Character Description

Charlie's parents had suddenly gone missing not that long ago. Because of this tragedy, Charlie was now living with his aunt (whom he and his parents never got along with). Charlie just couldn't accept this idea and out of fear he ran away.

It was a dark and rainy night. While on the run Charlie stumbled across a tear-drop shaped creature that was being relentlessly attacked by badniks. Though the situation was scary and Charlie wanted to just run away from it, he felt deep down that he needed to try to help, so he rushed in to try to save this creature. This did not go too well though as Charlie himself had nothing to defend himself with and too was badly hurt by the badniks. Right when it seemed like the two of them were done for, suddenly the creature let Charlie absorb itself and then together they transformed into a powerful, liquid creature. The two of them then bashed the badniks enough to be able to flee. After finding somewhere to hide, Charlie and the creature then separated back to their original forms. They formed a bond that night and since then have been glued to each other, viewing one another as siblings.

The morning after the that fight, Bera, along with Blush and Landon came across the two who were found sleeping in a bush. After being carried over to the "Misfitz hideout", Charlie later on explained all that had happened. Bera insisted that Charlie, and the what was assumed to be a wisp, would stay with the group and be part of "Team Misfitz".

Designing these two was rather tricky. If it wasn't me going through the 100th color variation of Charlie, then it was me trying to just figure out how Ezra worked. There is plenty of Sonic lore that is still new to me, and so while I was making Ezra I was like "Does this make sense? How do wisps work? If I make a new wisp type(?) is that breaking canon or what?". I am happy with how it all turned out though! : D

Honestly I was surprised there isn't a wisp that has liquid related powers? Like ok you have sonic turning into a rocket, a drill, and a freaking cube but nothing liquid related??? I guess... maybe its cause of Sonic's history with water idk xD

Hello everyone, I'm Oswigail and today I come to show you one of my alternate universes of Thomas and his friends, my human versions called 100% humanized, a world where the characters are students, locomotive drivers and locomotive drivers, or in some others. cases the guards or another official of the northwest railway of Sodor governed and directed by Sir Tophan Hat and here are the characters that have the most prominence in my au. 1 Thomas, who everyone already knows, but now as a young man of 15 years (in this universe he is paired with Rosie from the ships later we discuss) Thomas in this universe has the responsibility of being an older brother after saving his mother Lady from Diesel 10 he discovers that his mother had another daughter, one called Lady Jr, whom he must take care of at the request of his mother, whom it is not very common to see.2 Edward, a boy (here he is not old, honestly, he seems anything but an old man) well a wise and kind but shy but brave and helpful young man.3 Henry is the same scared young man as always paranoid and a little hypochondriac but it is simple a young man who was completely planned to be granted but not in the traditional way behind manipulating some things about his genetics looking for the perfect child was simply the opposite and the biggest scam and crime with the illusion of a couple who had difficulties having children, adding this to the unstable state of health of his mother, resulted in a premature Henry. and sickly going from hospital to hospital seeking to heal his illnesses until he decided to try experimental medications seeking to improve all his weaknesses and currently we are seeing the change (it is the equivalent of special charcoal and its reconstruction).4 Gordon, the oldest of the group although He shares the same age as his best friend Henry, the only one who will always have to endure him being childhood friends but still that bond is too strong Gordon and Henry are opposites because Henry is weak and sickly Gordon although he had health problems in the past more also family conflicts, he is Healthy, athletic, strong, fast and the strongest of the group, things that he seeks to increase in his quest to be the express train Gordon and Henry opposite but that does not prevent him from continuing to have his arrogant, arrogant, conceited, and even discriminatory attitudes that Henry almost always He has to correct so that his friend does not get the hatred of everyone because he knows better the reason for his attitude. 5 James, our dear reddish boy, the most conceited member of the steam team, conceited and often unbearable unless he has charisma James is simply James, I know he thinks he is the most handsome not only of the team but of the group but that doesn't stop him from having to put down to earth whenever he realizes or they let him know that he ruined everything James has a strong crush on Emily and hates seeing her sad because of him they are explosive many times but it is a relationship of yes you can stand me I will stand you better the typical boyfriends that one day they fight and the next they forgive each other.6 Percy is a very kind young man, Percy is small and adorable but he also has his fearful side but he also still retains his cheeky and mischievous side that he always tries to repress but it is something he knows will never go away. although a good friend to Thomas and a good boy to Lady Jr., Thomas' little sister. Rogal Dorn

Oh momma, this guy cannot find love even it hit him with a shovel. Or with ice pick. jkjk, he actually manage to get a girl via by one of his sister-in-law recommendation. His wife is so gentle and shy, Rogal just adore her and want to protect her from the evil of the universe. He not really fond of his wife good relationship with Magnus wife, but let her help Fulgrim partner in her recovery (she literally begged him for it) 

Konrad Curze

Probably the luckiest/uncluckiest person in the whole universe and beyond when she caught the interest of Konrad. This childish agressor just grabbed his mate one of his nightly hunts. She beated some thug who tried to mug her, and the next thing she remember was woke up next to the sacriest dude in Nostramo. But actually, he somewhat tolerant with her: he never let his angst and pent up anger get on her, but she still afraid of him deep down. Strangely good friends with Lorgar's wife (Double Stockholm syndrome?) 

Magnus the Red

He saw his destined partner one his vision. Kinda Romeo and Juliet as her homeplanet was famous for forbade any contact with pyskers and their power. But she also felt their connection so he took her and thank to her interventions, Magnus legion became more accepted in the eyes of the others. She has antagonistic relationship with Leman (after he tried to bully her husband) and call him "reeky smelly barbarian"). Their domestic relationship is one of the healthiest from the bunch. 

Leman Russ

He is bold and brave (and braindead) , as his first choice was Sanguinius wife. The leader of the Blood Angels asked "very" politely to get the heck away from her (beat the living light out of Leman) so he settled one the girl from his homeplanet. As she from the same culture, capable to endure Leman habits, but thank to her presence, now he make some limits about drinking/drunk fight. But she got jelly quickly when the sleepy drunk Leman mention "the fierce one, whom he cannot get".

iris is the fourth child of six. her and her sisters are sometimes (lovingly) referred to as the Smythe-Smith Bouquet, due to their names (Rose, Marigold, Lavender, Iris, Daisy). she has a form of leucism that makes her hair and skin lack melanin and she is often described as "strikingly pale". her hair is blonde and her eyelashes are very light, but not quite white, making her almost ghostly at times. she is also closeted bisexual. both of these only prove to make her feel like an outcast among her own family. she despises performing for the smythe-smith musicales but hates the idea of marrying a man she doesn't know even more. she's shy and closed off, but she has a big heart and bigger ideas.

Anyone want to try a story about the Wingfeather Saga and Ascendance Series together? Meeting each other and learning about one another, becoming close friends and allies.

I think Kalmar and Jaron would get along, Kalmar still is very adventurous and reckless and Jaron is too, they enable each other. They get the whole weight of kingship without much preparation. They've both been through some harrowing stuff and to be able to come out the other side still determined to do right by their people whom they love so much is admirable. My precious little diamonds!

Janner would bond with both Tobias and Roden but over different things. Tobias more for the scholarly kinship but he and Roden both have a deep desire to protect their loved ones and their country. They would spar together. Janner and Tobias would spend time in the library a lot, just trading knowledge - I bet Janner and Sara would be pretty interested to hear about Tobias medical stuff.

Sara and Imogen would get along splendidly, and they would empathize with each other about a life of servitude. They are also both brave, quietly strong, and kind girls. I'm kind of picking this off one by one so I guess that leaves Leeli and Amiranda but I think they would get along well. They are both very mature and loving girls who care deeply and can see the bigger picture.

To be honest I think all the girls would be friends - just shy of inseparable.

Janner and Kalmar decided that Jaron would be Guild Master Clout’s favorite person because of all his cleverness and sneakiness.

About the paragraph from my latest fic: "Whom Robert does shy away from is his parabatai. Michael has made it quite clear that he won’t speak of what happened and Céline’s not quite brave enough to ask Robert but it’s clear that whatever is between them, it’s bad. She thinks, as she watches them be in the same room for the first time in months, that it must be Robert who’s… angry, perhaps? Or hurt? Whatever it is, he’s the one pulling away and whatever Michael has done, he doesn’t seem like he knows how to fix it."

I loved writing this one in particular because Céline is so wrong here. The thing is, I think everyone would've made the same assumption as her because, in the end, it's Robert who's pulling away and being cold as if something has been done to him and it's Michael who might be trying to fix things and who acts as if this was his fault.

I mean, the other Circle members might know that something isn't right, might know them both well enough to figure out something is weird but I don't think even they would know for sure. And everyone else in the Clave? Yeah no, they're convinced Michael did something horrible to Robert. There isn't really a reason to believe anything else.

It would be such a shock for everyone to find out what really happened. Though, of course, Robert is never going to tell the tale willingly (except that one time to Alec I guess but that's his child and it was relevant to their relationship so I guess he made an exception).

this message got me thinking so hard, i think we have different perspectives.

judging by céline's view of robert in the wicked ones, i think everyone in the inner circle noticed things had gone wrong between them, either by noticing their dynamic had changed or noticing something was very wrong with robert (like céline did). the circle probably sided with robert because michael was known to not be much in tune with valentine, and that was probably assumed as at least part of the reason for their falling out. so, from the perspective of the circle, michael was betraying robert by not wanting to fight for valentine's ideals.

about what actually happened: as the readers, we've read the scene and we know that robert's response to michael's love confession was wrong: it was agressive and homophobic. but in universe, the facts are: michael was in love with his parabatai and confessed his feelings, and robert pushed him away harshly and stated that they couldn’t remain close friends that way. with this information, it would not be so simple for the characters to point one of them as being "wrong."

parabatai in love is not only a taboo among shadowhunters but also a criminal offense, and it's not even a controversial criminal offense like slaughtering downworlders. the punishment is exile and in more difficult cases, being banned from the nephilim. roughly 100 years before there was the eloisa and silas situation that led to their suicide. later in TDA that was implied to be part of the parabatai madness, but let's be real, that was not a thing when TID was written, their suicide was supposed to be due the taboo around their feelings for each other, and they were a man/woman pair.

we know that people who met michael and robert would be shocked to find out the truth because that's told through magnus when alec told him about it (and magnus mentioned having met michael as part of his surprise).

everyone (except valentine) in the circle would be shocked to find out about michael's feelings. nobody would be shocked that robert hadn't been happy about it. and anyone who'd seen what robert could say (and do) about downworlders wouldn’t really think much about what words he may have used. everyone know he's not a nice guy at all.

i think if someone would be shocked about robert's behavior, that would have been stephen. i think he would expect robert to treat the people he loved with more care and fairness than he treated everyone else. i don't think that maryse would have been upset to know about robert harshly pushing michael away if we're being honest

so i don't think most people would have shifted their views to "so actually robert was in the wrong." they would be shocked at how much of a bad position michael put him in, and probably wonder what he even saw in robert lol

robert would not tell anyone what happened because 1) that would incriminate and out michael and 2) his real, actual fear was that letting michael's feelings keep going through their friendship could end with him returning those feelings, and that would absolutely fuck up everything (robert was anxious enough already without also being anxious about people speculating about his sexuality)

he told alec because those reasons became irrelevant against the need to show alec that robert didn’t think there was anything wrong with him, and exposing his own failing in opposite to alec's bravery was a way to express that

anyway tl;dr: i think the circle didn't have any illusions about robert's character and even clave people who liked him would be like: "michael wayland was WHAT?" rather than going into jumping to the conclusion that robert is an awful person. i think LGBT people (like alec) would be the ones to understand the true horror of the situation, but for most shadowhunters? the whole thing would be some very, very juicy gossip
