I'm interested in fandom dynamics and read all blogs. Ex-shippers, antis, wishful shippers, conspiracy shippers, etc. The arguments for and against fascinate me. So no, not an anti or tait or whatever. I'm not invested in the actor's private lives like others, but I have opinions that don't conform with your content. I like you as a blogger, though, because you are not hateful and vindictive like so many here now, but from what I've seen, I think conspiracy shippers are fueling S and C's angst.
Okay, fair enough. If you’ve followed me for a while you know that I have a trigger happy index finger and I unfollow, delete, and block with no questions asked if someone even inadvertently brings me hate of any kind. I have no use for it. So what’s left here is a group of women (and one guy) who are truly my people. They are sweet and kind and wish no harm on anyone. We see the heart eyes between Sam and Cait that they don’t have for anyone else. We see his arm slip naturally around her but never anyone else. We see her without even realizing it reach out to touch his arm, his back, his shoulder, but never anyone else. We see love and we would never intrude or do anything to make them feel threatened. Our intentions are only to enjoy what we see and we wish them the best. They know we’re out here. They have interacted with this kind of shipper on sm. They have no problem with respectful shipping. I have no tolerance for those conspiracy shippers, if that’s what they are although I’m suspicious. Of course there could be shippers who cross those lines but there are also angry ex-shippers who are out for revenge and antis pretending to be shippers who only want to see us lumped together and gone. Those are the ones causing the trouble that Sam spoke about. Fandom study would make a great subject for a thesis for anyone studying Sociology, wouldn’t it? It’s the weirdest damn place I’ve ever been
