What I thought might've been an animation error in my previous post about the red-eyed siblings I now believe to be fully intentional after seeing S2 E6. Link Click S2 spoilers ahead!!

TURNS OUT, BOTH OF THE SIBLINGS VISITED LU GUANG.

Because this show's got me in full detective mode, I went back through every episode that has aired so far and combed through every appearance of the twins. First we have the scene at LG's door.

As established in the previous post I mentioned, the siblings can be told apart by their hair, outfit, and to some extent their lashes as well. (The most obvious tell is their hair—the boy has a fringe, while the girl has straight-cut bangs.) Knowing this, you can see that the initial scenes where LG is stopped from closing his door is the boy.

Immediately afterward we have LG's eyes widening...

...followed by a shot of the girl. Note the hair and lashes.

Then we switch back! The one who ends up handing LG the photo is the boy, NOT the girl.

Now, let's take a look at some of their other appearances. The sibling in the back of Qian Jin's car who was instructed to "do it" before being handed Chen Bin's photo? The boy.

The one waiting in the hallway, who Qian Jin's henchman gives a phone to? Also the boy. (The outfit difference between him and his sister becomes rather obvious now, if you are looking out for it.)

The one who then calls Qian Jin on the phone later that episode? The girl! (Made clear in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment at the very end of that scene when she tilts her head, revealing a tiny corner of her bangs.)

That conversation btw (which happens in E4) potentially foreshadows the events of E6...though of course we still don't quite know what "this plan" was meant to accomplish, assuming the girl's trip to the police station is really what they're referring to here.

Qian Jin: How about it? Have you found him? Li Tianxi (the sister): [shows mouth moving but with the audio silenced] Qian Jin: [laughs] You’re a real lunatic. This plan is risky, but if we can take action before the police discover it, we still have a chance.

Anyways, what all this confirms for me is that BOTH siblings are in contact with Qian Jin and working with him somehow. But what's still totally up in the air is:

Are the two siblings in contact with each other? And if so, are they working with or against each other?

Are the siblings actually on Qian Jin's side by choice? Or are they being coerced in some way?

Do they have their own agenda (either individually or as a team) that they're pursuing under the guise of following Qian Jin's directives?

Why did Qian Jin scrub most of their info off the police records?

What exactly was the brother trying to accomplish by handing LG that photo of his sister and their mother?

LOTS AND LOTS OF QUESTIONS left for S2 to answer... 👀

How would Hans react to little Adalia always requesting piggy back rides from him, because he is so tall, or wanting to wear his hat for funsies? The Majors daughter gets pretty bored sometimes so she likes to see what Hans is up to! 👀 Would he patient with her because she is a child and is his boss's daughter or secretly annoyed because she is technically a distraction for him?

I like seeing interactions between her and the other members of Millennium since she grows up around them kinda sorta!

AU

“Vati, Vati, VAAAATI!”

The small drumming of shoes came down the floor of the hallway, and soon the youthful and bright eyed Adalia Montana went shooting up into the arms of her father.

“OOF! Hahaha- Und zhere is mein little princess, right on time! Vati missed you, too mein liebling~” Max uttered after the noticeable gut blow his daughter sent him with just a hug. Hans always felt, well, strange around Herr Major when is family was around; He was bizarre, unknown to the Captain with his sweet mannerisms and sharp instincts on love and fatherhood. He was, for a lack of better word, and enigma— a completely different person.

“Und you have no more room for me…?” Mrs. Montana teased before embracing her husband in kind, the small blonde girl excitedly giggling all the while. Seeing her mother and father so happy made Adalia happy without a care in the world. To Hans, that girl was the one true ray of sunshine amongst all of Millennium. It hurt him to see her raised in a world like this.

“Hündchen!”

“Ahh, yes, how could I forget, Hündchen is here, mein Kleines mädchen! He’s going to be coming vith us, und not a moment too so-“

“Max…” came Sophià’s voice, strangely more focused and calm than it had ever been. Causing the Major to stop on a dime like that was something even Hans had never seen. Pushing his glasses up and hoisting Adalia up with a groaned “Heeere ve go!”, Major presented Adalia to Günsche. Babysitting duty was no problem for Hans, but this felt very different.

“Watch over her for ein minuten, Captain! Play Hündchen for her like she likes, you know how she uhh…” in this rare moment, Max seemed lost in his thoughts, flinging a gesturing hand about his face as if flicking something away, and staring far past Hans. Pulling back his hair, Max turned the corner and this began a quite, but easily distinguishable conversation about the major’s ever growing affairs.

Well… where to…?

Though young Adalia seemed confused at first, she immediately wanted on Hans’ back. In her world, she was his steed, and why on earth would he deny her that law? He would softly gallop through the halls of the large office building Major had planted them in that day, making sure the lady was pleased by her excited laughter and tightening grip upon his uniform. Their fun had only begun as Hans took her through each of the floors down to the very bottom!

Well, until he heard a banging sound from down the hall. Turning the corner, he saw that the door to the basement floor of this facility was being barraged, until horror truly sprang loose. From the snapped hinges of the iron door frame came confused and starving things. Men, no, no longer men…

Ghouls…

“Grab zhem, Schnell! Do not let zhem escape zhis building!” The croning voice of Napier wailed to a group of guards that were now apprehensively in pursuit of the now mosh of ghouls that crawled down the hall; Herr Major’s work had begun, and already the defects were proving to be more than his team could handle. And of course, a light and fearful quivering came from behind Hans. Adalia watching on as her day out turned into the worst nightmare.

Before they could even get close to either of them, Hans darted the corner and began a full-on sprint to the third level with young Montana in his arms, not even risking the next floor up being safe from the outbreak in this small building. He shut and locked the door to an office room, sitting down with his back to a desk out of sight. He checked upon Adalia, now coated with blobs of tears that began to stain his coat.

“B-…Bitte… B-Bitte Vaatiiihihihii…!!!”

She was miserable, and by this point, the shouting, stomping, and popping of muffled gunfire proceeded below them. Günsch removed his hat, offering it to the frightened child in her dire moment; as expected, she clutched to it, crinkling the fabric as her fingers turned white. Hans proceeded to hold her close to his broad chest whilst the hurricane of violent barrage came to a slow decline. All that could be heard then was the breathless sobbing of a scared child enduring a living nightmare.

How long could this go… How long does Major think they will endure…?

"damn if you wanna restore a building, cleaning up a lil would be a good start just sayin"

Jungkook spoke up, staring at the walls with a disgusted look on his face.

"i mean...where did all that weird dirt come from?.....ok you know what? i dont wanna know"

he added shaking his head and wrinkling his nose a little.

"Jungkook shut up"

you whispered, trying to shush him up as you kept scanning your surroundings but the young man just rolled his eyes at you before turning his attention back to other things. 

If you were to explain the interior of this building, you would definitely describe it as an overall derelict place, with an eerie feeling to it.

The windows were all broken yet still boarded up, the doors weren't in a good condition either and as Jungkook already pointed it out, the walls have seen better days aswell.

You both kept walking down the hardly lit hallway; it was pretty cold and the air left goosebumps all over your body once it touched your skin.

"ok so if i were a psychotic ex boyfriend who kidnapped his ex's new boyfriend where would i hide him?"

You mumbled quietly to yourself, not expecting any answers.

Jungkook immediately stopped in his tracks the second he heard your words,he looked at you with slight disbelief to which you couldn't help but roll your eyes.

"what?" you asked

"duuudee you've never seen crime documentaries? or read about like crime cases? Kidnapper usually keep their victims in the basement duuh"

The young man said while rushing over to a door at the very back of the hallway that had a dirty and slightly rusty sign attached to it with the word "basement" on it.

"see? Basement i bet 20 bucks we'll find him in there" he added

"first of all dont joke around Jk this is serious... second of all the door is probably locked"

you let out a sharp breath while crossing your arms.

"ha, and thats why ya boi is here"

Jungkook said in a smugg tone, finger pointing at himself before taking a small hair pin out of his pocket.

"dont tell me you can actually open that"

You watched him try to unlock the door, not knowing if you were impressed or surprised.

The door was open after not even a full minute, your mouth formed an O shape as you walked passed your best friend; now definitely sure that you were impressed by his actions.

"oh thank god it actually worked"

Jungkook mumbled to himself, letting out a big sigh of relief before following you proudly.

You walked down the stairs that lead you to another door which to your luck wasn't closed;

yet this time it was a big heavy one made out of steel which again took you a minute to even open.

This place felt like a maze, with different doors on each side and who knows how many hallways. This time you found yourself in a big room which appeared to be the actual basement, it had small cell-looking storage rooms on each sides made out of wood planks.

"....Jimin?"

you whispered, looking around to see if you could find the young man, it was fairly dark in there but your eyes already got used to the darkness.

You heard a faint groan coming from the very back of the room; your eyes widened as you turned to Jungkook who had the exact same reaction.

"Jimin??" your voice cracked a little, you ran over to that one room with Jungkook following right behind you.

As you got closer and closer you finally saw him, the guy you've been desperately searching for for the last few days.

Jimin was sitting on the floor, barely conscious, his back leaning against the wall and tied up around his ankles and wrists ; you couldn't help but cover you mouth from the shock.

"oh...oh my god.." you whispered, tears were already running down your cheeks.

Jungkook quickly took to action as soon as he noticed that you weren't really capable of doing anything; He took his pin again and tried his best to unlock the door.

The first time was a lucky try, but he was more than certain he could do it a second time.

Especially because he did it for you.

A moment had passed and the lock was finally open; you rushed passed your best friend and straight to Jimin, who was still sitting on the ground, going in and out of consciousness.

"Jimin..Jimin wake up, please wake up" you said quietly, sniffing and wiping the tears away that kept forming in your eyes.

The young man finally responded and looked at you with a very weak smile;

god how much you missed that smile.

"Y/n...?" he mumbled as he looked up to you.

"yes...i'm here.." you kissed him on the cheek and pulled him close to you, trying so hard to hold back any more tears.

That moment would've been perfect if you wouldn't have been sitting on the ground of an old building owned by your crazy ex boyfriend with a badly injured Jimin in your arms.

Jungkook stood next to you, clearing his throat before saying something you've already expected him to say.

"Y/n i know you guys kinda have a moment right now but we really gotta go"

You just nodded and wiped your tears away once again. The rope that was tied up around Jimins ankles and wrists were finally cut open, good thing you actually remembered to bring a transportable knife with you just in case.

It took you a while to get out of there, since Jimins condition wasn't the best, he could barely stand on his own but you guys still managed to get him out of the building and straight to your car;

That's when a familiar vehicle got your attention as it stopped right infront of you.

"Y/n? what a pleasant surprise"

you saw Siwon get out of his car with a cocky smile on his face.

You were infuriated and frustrated at the man standing infront of you;

you clenched your hands tighter into fists the more you looked at him trying really badly to contain yourself from beating the crap out of this guy-

"What is wrong with you...! how could you?!"

you yelled out loud, the frustration clearly present in the tone of your voice.

"Oh come on Y/n, it's not like you actually love this guy, don't you remember? the two of us together? who's words were that?"

He answered, crossing his arms.

Your expression suddenly turned blank and cold, you took one last breath to calm yourself down before speaking up again.

"we broke up 4 years ago Siwon, just give it a rest. I'm now with someone i truly love, please...just accept that and move on" 

You got interrupted by the faint sound of police sirens coming from the distance,making Siwon's expression drop drastically;

he furrowed his brows and rushed over into his car immediately

"This isn't over.."

He said, pointing at you before driving away.

You just stood there totally perplexed as you watched him leave, suddenly feeling a strong hand resting on your shoulder;

you turned around and saw Jungkook, he pulled you into a tight yet short hug before you guys headed to the hospital and then to the police station.

Turns out Siwon got caught soon after his attempt to escape. He got interrogated while you and the others stayed at the hospital.

To your luck, Jimins condition wasn't as bad as you thought he'd be so they let him go home with you. He had a small concussion and a few minor injuries but no major damage which was a good sign but the doctors still adviced to postpone any Police matters as it would cause too much stress for him.
