#one of my favourite personality traits of riptide's is that he's really chill all the time until he gets scared

Something I love to imagine and that I really wanna draw one day is the first year deepseaship moved to Sinnoh and Riptide seeing snow in person for the first time

He lived in Alola all his life, Shadow grew up in Johto and then Alola, then they moved to Sinnoh when they got married . So Shadow has been around snow before, but not Rip!!

I think it'd be really cute because Shadow is super passionate about it and gets super excited (I tried showing this a bit in my drawing of them sitting in the snow lol) it's also exciting for them because she hasn't seen snow in so mant years. But Riptide hates the cold and thinks it sucks. So Shadow is trying to get him to have a fun snow day with them and he's sooooo mad

He also probably freaked out the moment he touched it. Like, imagine being made of water and touching snow? That's probably feel really weird. I've always imagined his first interaction with snow to just be Screaming and Freaking out and scaring the shit out of Shadow

He does warm up to it of course (lol) but only when he has mittens and his tail coat. Then they play in the snow together all day. Unfortunately Riptide is never safe from snowballs
