And I love Jamil he’s like In my top three fav of all the characters, BUT CAN WE AGREE THEY BOTH NEEDED TO DO THIS? THEY BOTH NEEDED TO HAVE THIS FIGHT?

Okay now with that out of the way, my thoughts on the movie

I really enjoyed it.

I went to see it with a few friends and one of them made a really good point. They actually act like teenagers. Like yes, it was kinda cringey at some parts but that’s because it sounded like something a teenager would say because teenagers are awkward.

I’ve had very stupid conversations with my friends that sound like the conversations in the movie.

I noticed that this movie did the “teen talk” a lot better than I’m pretty sure all other versions of tmnt (in my opinion), even better than rise I think. Most others sound like adults writing teenagers and it sounds good most of the time but others it sounds weird.

Now for the main reason I made this post: April and Leo.

I was kind of dreading this when I saw in the trailers Leo would be interested in her (2012 April and Donnie flashbacks) but it was well done. I am a bit tired of April being a love interest for the turtles but I think it’s important to include that April is black, plus size and has acne and how Leo described her as “the most beautiful girl he’s ever seen”. Unfortunately the qualities she has aren’t shown very often to be attractive because of bs beauty standards.

It’s late so I can’t fully explain what I’m trying to say so disclaimer in case I didn’t come across this way: I don’t think that being black, plus size or having acne makes you not pretty, you are, just society sometimes says that and society is stupid.

April and Leo are cute together and written well and there is no “one of them is obsessed and the other is leading them on” going on. The fact that they end the movie looking into TCRI is adorable to me. My fav investigator duo.

Also Leo is an absolute dork. The whole phone call scene: “it’s a date then!” “Wait what a date?” “Uhhh *cue fumbling and wrestling for the phone* uhh nothing bad service byeee! Who’s got no rizz now?” Like Leo you are bad at this oh my god. (Again awkward teenager stuff)

And his bothers teasing him was so funny. They did not let that slide and teased him at every opportunity. Classic sibling behaviour

The tease for shredder was fun and I can’t wait to see what they do with him and his backstory.

Best Splinter. I love him so much. I love his whole “hating humans” arc and how he paralleled superfly and how he CHOSE to not be like him.

Both superfly and splinter have a very understandable fear (that turned into hate) of humans and how they both thought that the best way to protect their families were to hold their family too tight.

While splinter hid from the world and his fear pushed him into hiding and laying low, superfly’s fear caused him to lash out and take out his anger in a destructive way.

But splinter getting a girlfriend at the end was so cute he deserves this.

Also side note: why did so many turtles almost get hit by cars in this movie? Specifically Mikey.

He almost got hit in the flashback, then in the garage, then in the final battle with the flying cars. Then Donnie also almost got hit, I think just before they were captured but I’m not sure.

When they had to leave the movie and walked home really sadly and kept looking at the humans longingly I legit almost cried.

I was kind of surprised they ended up actually going to school and everyone was accepting. I thought they’d be like “we don’t need humans to accept us cause we accept ourselves” but I’m glad they got to go to school. They deserve it.

Also April being super upfront with them about if they didn’t save her she’d probably be running screaming was so funny. Also how she was planning to release a story about them while knowing humans probably wouldn’t accept them was a very realistic thing.

I loved April so much by the way. The way she fucking chucked the news mic into the crowd was iconic.

The fight scenes were SOOOO AMAZING I LOVED THEM SO MUCH. The splitting between the 4 (I think) fights at the same time and every other fight scene were so well done. Them figuring out that they skills they learned for years actually work in a fight and how they’re awesome at it was adorable to watch. And the way in the beginning how they were using their skills to steal get groceries was great.

All the turtles up from every version are good fighters (in their own ways) but these versions are definitely up there with how skilled and how well they work as a team. Love them.

AND THE TURTLES SHARING A ROOM AND BUNK BEDS WAS ADORABLE. It’s so funny cause later they were like “yea we have so much space to hold the 6 or 7 other mutants in our house on short notice we have lots of space!” Which means they chose to share a room with is adorable and a little bit unrealistic lol.

It seemed like a pretty realistic movie and I have bullet points of the least realistic parts (excluding the mutant animals cause duh). And this is just me being picky lol, I still loved this movie and these are just jokes.

The fact that they wrote nice things on aprils locker at the end of the movie

(Pointed out by my friend). She went from being puke girl to April O’hero. They would probably stop teasing her since she was friends with the most popular kids in the city but the 2 most likely outcomes would be

1. They just stopped and then left the insults on there, maybe scratched them out

2. Wiped off the locker and never spoke of it again

No one writes nice things on other peoples lockers lol

The boys want to share a room

I guarantee if 4 teenage brothers had a choice between sharing bunk beds and each having their own rooms, they’d have their own rooms.

Imagine arguing with your sibling and you don’t have your own room to sulk and avoid them? By choice??? People need their own spaces. No matter how much I love my siblings if I shared a room with them it’d be chaos.

There would be one prank done in that room to one of their beds and that’d be the end of the shared room lol

The fact that everyone unquestionably liked them (especially at school)

Kids are assholes. That’s it.

AGAIN this is just things I thought were unrealistic in a funny way, it’s a kids movie so it’s not that deep.

This was definitely one of my favourite versions of tmnt (I haven’t seen all of them but still). It was a good mix of serious and goofy and I liked it a lot. I recommend seeing it, I want to watch it again lol

Oh my god, mi rey, I love this question so much KUJHDSGLJKS okay, sit tight, because I'm gonna likely ramble. I'm gonna go off of AEW wrestlers since that's the show I keep up with weekly djkfghlsd

Salem is my boy that has the most wrestler inspos, because he's my special boy and I look for him in everything. His is more detailed because I feel I gotta explain why I picked each one for him. 😅

Fighting Style: Jon Moxley. Salem likes to fight and he gets brutal when he wants to. He's not a stranger to bleeding, and has a similar bloodlust like Mox that gives him that rush during his fights. He also has that swagger to him, that cocky 'I'm going to enjoy this' aura when he knows he's about to throw down. In my wrestling!AU (literally just a concept and a reason to assign my OC's wrestlers lmao), Salem would likely be a deathmatch wrestler with strong leanings to grappling and 'dirty fighting', such as biting and scratching.

Personality: Eddie Kingston and Hook. So hear me out, because I know that's two polar opposites, kinda. Salem has Eddie's confrontational personality, where if you start shit with him, you best back it up. He will call someone out and he will get up in someone's face. He's not afraid to challenge someone, especially when he feels disrespected or is pissed off enough. He also has Hook's broody, quiet demeanor though, most of the time when he's not getting his buttons pushed. He's always has a resting bitch face where he looks angry or annoyed--but it's part of his allure 🤭

Aesthetics/Presentation: I'll always use House of Black as aesthetic inspo for Salem--particularly Brody King. I like Brody's wrestling attire, especially during his entrance. With the hood and the ski mask and the thick ass chain. I think Salem leans more with that look. But also bringing Hook up again, because Salem's a plain black hoodie guy as well.

Paolo and Paola, are a mix of various tag teams. These two are a duo that are inseparable and are a package deal, so it makes sense to base them off of a few tag teams (which are my fav). However, the team that I associate them the most are The Young Bucks, because of course.

A pair of siblings that pretty much go out of their way to be obnoxious as possible while remaining loyal to their group (like they are with Kenny and with each other). They're doofy, they're not afraid to look silly and dumb, in fact they lean into it with all the dumb shit they like getting up to. The twins would likely be heels because it's so fun for them to be chaotic gremlins.

And here's a bonus one, an extra for Paolo because I've really latched onto Daniel Garcia, and I see a lot of DG in him. I kinda even associate his voice and the way he speaks with Paolo, I imagine my boy sounding like him.

Judah is interesting because he's not exactly a fighter in his canon story, BUT he will when he needs to/has to. He's arrogant and so, so full of himself. He's rich, he's handsome, he's better than you--you know there I'm going with this. 😎Judah is MJF, though and through.

Like MJF (pre-face turn), Judah doesn't fight unless he has to. He prefers to run his mouth most of the time and weasel his way out of situations his shit talking gets him into. He'll hire people if he needs to. He has zero problem throwing people under the bus to get ahead and knows how to twist and manipulate things to benefit him. But when he does actually decide to act, he's actually skilled af. He's just more of a talker. Charisma is more his style.

However, in recent development...Judah has also had a little face turn of his own. In my story, he softens up considerably when my others manage to befriend him. He might still be a scumbag, but he's their scumbag. 🖤

I'm going to include Embry anyways, because I love him and his wrestler association. So obvs, I'm going with Hangman Adam Page for my sunshine boy.

Embry is just a really good guy, very likeable and it's not hard to rally behind him. Of course, he still has some of his not-so-wholesome traits (Hangman's entire storyline of feeling inadequate and the more brutal side of him that comes out in certain feuds/matches). Embry contains multitudes, and sometimes they so even if he tries to hide it.

Plus, there's the whole aesthetics with the blond hair and the southern, cowboy vibes. Even more so with the mustache and beard 🥴Which Embry eventually grows out at some point in his story.

Renato is the one where I have the most trouble with and don't really have one assigned for him because he's still my most underdeveloped OC. I did like Andrade a lot and often associate him with Renato--looks and aesthetics wise. I wish I had more of an answer for him 😭He's just extremely illusive, but he's slowly coming into his own.

okay so i really only know the aew and wwe roster, so thats what im going to pull from

not that i don't thoroughly enjoy the things danhausen has done with aew or think that he doesn't fit in aew, because I DO I MISS HIM ON TV, but the creepiness of a very nice very evil cult leader after monies and teeth would be very interesting to see with how wwe handles creepy crawly characters. im thinking thinking bray wyatt, im thinking what they are doing with bo dallas, im thinking joe gasey and his straightjacket, im thinking really great character work with the fiend during the pandemic- im not saying this is the same way i would want danhausen's character handled, but just that if they listen to him and maybe put him on tv in a ring i would be interested to see if he would want to go more evil horrorhausen

i would take kevin and put him in aew, it honestly really think his style of wrestling and the way he shines in promos lends itself to aew a lot better. also idk if wwe will ever allow blading again and i think if i dont see kevin with a red mask again i will die- also it would be interesting to see him interact with a lot of people he did in ring of honor and such, just great wrestlers we haven't see him in the ring with in a while? new people? someone who isn't logan paul??

kinda in love with willow and toni, not gonna lie. i really love willows gear and the way she handles herself in the ring. toni is just doing amazing character work rn and the lead up to her and deonna's match at revolution has been some of my fav stuff from her. also her and mariah are making a really funny duo and it could be cool to see where creative is gonna take the two of them and their very very strange 'mentorship'? have i talked about toni on commontary? i haven't? this woman shoudl narrate documentaries, she puts Such a spin on things i love her

20. one of your favorite feuds from last year and why?

okay so i only really started watching aew in september? of last year? i think? HOWEVER by the time i was Really into it, the continental classic was in full wing and i fucking loved bryan and eddie- fucking loved that shit. want them to continue the whole 'youre nothing to me but a bum' and the 'respect is something you're never gonna get from me' and the whole 'you want me to fuck you so much it makes you look stupid' that like permeated every interaction they had

Rainy days in the base are absolute torture for poor Baji. Not only can he not go outside because of illness risks, he has to stay pent up inside with his friends. And mother of god, how are they THIS boring? They’re gang members for crying out loud! I mean who knew that Draken liked horror stories?

As Baji surveyed the room, he couldn’t help but become even more bored. He did, however, find Takemichi and Mikey’s antics to be quite enthralling. The two blondes had made cardboard box forts, pretending to be rival kingdoms. As for Draken, the co-captain found himself seated patiently in Takemichi’s cardboard castle, engrossed in a book.

He curved around to spy Chifuyu and Mitsuya, who were absolutely glued to the table. In a fit of boredom, Chifuyu had asked Mitsuya to teach him how to sew, resulting in the entire afternoon being busy. His greatest creation? A small stuffed teddy bear.

Baji approached the table, sitting across from his buddy, “My my, what have we here?”

Without averting his gaze, Chifuyu replied with “Sheer focus and my own handiwork. Don’t make me prick myself with this needle.”

With a snort and a swipe of the teddy bear, Baji uttered “Oh? What’s this?”

“Hey! Give that back!” The blonde boy growled, placing down his current project.

“Oooh, so scary. What ever shall I do?” He teased, tossing it in the air and catching it repeatedly.

Except on the third catch, a stitch untied, and the entire bear began to deteriorate.

“Baji gasped. “Oh shit, Chi’ M’sorry.”

Chifuyu stood from the table and groaned. “Seriously? That was mine! And I was really proud of it!”

“I said I’m sorry!”

“Get over here!”

With a yelp, Baji pivoted on the ball of his socked foot and ran into the main room once again. Looking around frantically, the long haired boy completely stopped in his tracks.

“Baaaajiiii!” The angry boy yelled, bounding after him.

“Oooh someone pissed off Chifuyu.” Mikey cooed, adjusting his fast food crown.

“Mikey! Is there room for any peasants in your castle?” Baji yelped desperately.

“Hmmm.” The blonde boy thought, tapping his chin. “Not for runaway criminals. Sorry, Baji.“

Bronze eyes widened as socked feet lost their grip on the floor... Chifuyu had caught up and tackled Baji straight to the carpeting.

Four pairs of eyes met the duo, who was currently wrestling on the fluffy carpet. Now, Chifuyu was not expecting to win, given Baji’s fantastic strength. But what he wasn’t expecting was a clear-cut victory opportunity to appear right before his eyes.

The blonde’s eyebrows furrowed, staring down at the panicked boy beneath him. “Dude.”

Baji gulped.

“Did you just try to tickle me?”

“Maybe!” The long haired boy cried in defense, “Always works on Mikey!”

A gasp and a little yelp of “rude” emitted from one another of the castles.

“Always works eh?” Chifuyu thought out loud, reaching for the broken bear.

In natural response, his arm shot up in the air to keep it away from his friend.

The blonde took this opportunity to grab Baji’s wrist, holding it firmly above his head.

“Don’t you fucking da-ahahahare!” the long haired boy giggled as wiggling fingers came in contact with his underarm.

The group around them stared in awe. Baji giggles? He’s ticklish? Since when?

“Well, well well.” Chifuyu quipped, “If it isn’t the consequences of your actions.”

“Leheheheave mehehehe alohohohone!” The trapped boy whined, writhing a bit to try and escape.

“Oh I am never leaving you alone after this!” The blonde chimed, “breaking news: Big, Bad Baji. ToMan’s most intimidating member, taken down by some tickles.”

As he moved his free hand down to prod at Baji’s ribs, the boy snoreted. “This just in! He snorts! You heard it here, folks.”

“Chihihifuhuhuyu! Ihihihill kihihill yohohohou!” The brunette whined as his face flushed from the teasing.

“I don’t think you have the abilities to do that, bossman.”

Baji’s laughter rose in volume as Chifuyu started to dig into his stomach. “Because last time I checked, I wasn’t the one pinned to the ground and getting tickled.”

“CHIHIHIFUHUHUYUHUHU! STAHAHAHAP!”

“No! You broke my bear! I spent ages on that!”

“Chifuyu I can make you anoth-“ Mitsuya interjected, but ultimately ceasing. Who would pass up a golden opportunity like this, to see Baji lose his mind over something so childish?

The blonde boy’s fingers poked around every single toned muscle of Baji’s torso, eliciting the most desperate laughter he had ever heard.

“IHIHIHIM SOHOHOHORRY! JUHUHUST STAHAHAP!”

The long haired boy squealed in agony as Chifuyu let go of his arm and suddenly began to squeeze both of his thighs.

“GAH! NONONONOHOHOHOHO! CHIHIHIHIFUHUHUHUYU! IHIHIHIT TIHIHIHIHICKLEHEHES!”

“And? I don’t think I’ve heard you complaining yet.” The evil blonde chimed.

“IHIHIHITS TOOHOHOHO BAHAHAHAD! PLEHEHEHEHEASE!”

“Oh now we’re complaining?” With a few clicks of the tongue, and shakes of the head, Chifuyu continued to absolutely tease his best friend, “Y’know, Draken always told us that complaining gets us nowhere, except in a pre-school classroom.”

“I’m just glad I’m not Baji. Chifuyu’s mean. I would just die on the spot instantly.” the latter whispered, feeling touches ghost over his torso.

Finally, having gathered up enough strength, Baji shoved his assailant off of him. He immediately dove onto the blonde’s chest and tried to tickle him in the same spot as before.

And that, everyone, is the story of how Chifuyu totally dug his own grave. It’s also the story of the great ToMan tickle fight, because in the end, everyone was somehow on the receiving end.

TF2 RED Headcanons by an idiot that can’t pay attention well enough to read the comics

Back on my bullshit, because I apparently can’t shut up tonight. This is gonna be a big, possibly in-cohesive mess, and will probably have more focus on Scout, Pyro, Sniper, and Spy since they’re my favs, but I still felt like writing down all my dumb headcanons/ideas regarding everyone’s favorite mercenaries (at the moment at least; I might make another post like this later on, hopefully after I’ve read the comics)! Sorry if any of these seem OOC, I’m just goofin’! (Putting this under a readmore because WOW this got LONG)

Every Sunday afternoon, Scout, Pyro, and eventually Sniper when he tells everyone that he's a trans guy, hold a makeshift “Trans Buddy Club” meeting, which mostly consists of Scout mindlessly rambling about drama on base, Pyro nodding along, and Sniper occasionally adding his two cents/spilling tea as well.

Scout can speak fluent French, on account of his mom making sure to teach it to him so he could have more of a connection to his dad, but no one found out until a little after Spy told Scout he was his dad. It wasn’t long after this that Scout revealed that this entire time, he’s known every single thing that Spy's ever said to him in French, but he didn't say anything because he thought it would be funny to keep the ruse going (also because he really liked being praised in secret). Cue Spy freaking tf out because oh no, now his kid knows that he's secretly a huge softie for not only his son, but his whole team.

Sometimes Spy and Scout talk shit in French right there in front of the team, but no one has any fucking idea what they’re saying and to be honest it’s pissing Soldier off the most, much to the father and son duo’s amusement.

Pyro secretly has a little black rabbit named Lucifer (Lucy for short) in their bedroom, which they only take out to get some fresh air and hop around very early in the morning, before anyone else is awake. The only people who know are Medic, Spy, and surprisingly enough Soldier, whose raccoons became friends with Lucy.

Sniper has a goldfish in his RV, but it died three months after he joined the team; he has no idea though because Miss Pauling replaces it every time one passes away, so now Sniper is convinced he has the world’s oldest goldfish.

Scout and Soldier both really want a dog, but they're not allowed to have one on-base. :(

((Heavy plans on sneaking a dog in next Christmas and no one can stop him. It’s gonna be a Border Collie named Bandit, and it gets the most attached to Scout and Heavy.))

Demo is no longer allowed to make mixed drinks for parties; the last time he did, he got everyone so shitfaced that they had to cancel work for three days in a row in order to recover from it.

Continuing off of that: drunk headcanons.

Demoman: Unassuming drunk. Acts like he usually does, unless he’s gotten particularly shitfaced for a party/event, in which case he’ll be slurring so bad that no one can understand him anymore.

Pyro: Giggly drunk. Is just laughing the whole fucking night at nothing in particular, which scares anyone who’s still sober. If they’re too far gone, they’ll start mumbling something that sounds like it’s in Spanish.

Spy: Party drunk. An absolute fucking mess, he’s trying to impress everyone and keep their attention on him, which usually leads to him standing on tables and dancing until he falls and passes out.

Sniper: Sleepy drunk. Out like a fucking light at the slighest bit of alcohol. If he wakes up and keeps drinking though, he’ll just be slurring like Demo, only with a lot more anger in his voice. Let him sleep, or he’ll fucking stab you to death.

Scout: Clumsy drunk. Bumps into anything and everything; eventually has to be given a sippy cup for his alcohol because he dropped three glasses in a row. Talks even faster than usual, until he accidentally fucking pukes on someone.

Soldier: Calm drunk. Instead of getting loud and aggressive like most would think/fear, he’s just… chillin'. Just watches the shitshow as it happens, not even laughing when people get hurt/fall down. Kinda terrifying if we’re being honest here.

Engineer: Depressed drunk. His depression goes through the roof if he has too much, so he doesn't drink more than a few beers if he can help it. If he does accidentally drink too much, he'll be sobbing his eyes out in no time flat.

Heavy: Cuddly drunk. It’s very, very hard to get him drunk, since he’s really good at holding his liquor, but if you do, he’s gonna be hugging and carrying everyone he can get his hands on; you can expect him to have Medic and/or Pyro on his lap once he’s drunk enough.

Medic: Angry drunk. He wants to start fights with fucking everyone, all his rage coming out once he’s had a few too many; god help anyone who tries to stop him. Luckily for all involved, Heavy is more than capable of holding him still until he tires himself out.

BONUS Miss Pauling: Dumbass drunk. With too many bottles in her, she’s gonna be the one shouting and encouraging Spy to act reckless, while also encouraging Engie to drink more because quitting is for losers. Will pass out within an hour or so of downing her first drink.

BONUS The Administrator: Stereotypical drunk. Slurring, stumbling, she’s got the whole nine yards, but she’ll be damned before she let’s anyone see her that messed up. Secretly sips wine at work.

Grant - 34 years old - Bisexual - Occupation: Veteran/Construction worker - Personality: the oldest of the bunch, he takes it upon himself to keep his little brothers in line/help Ma out as much as he can. Enlisted in the Air Force after he graduated high school, and still takes a lot of pride in his veteran status after serving overseas three separate times. The family peacemaker.

Timothy - 32 years old - Homosexual - Occuptaion: Cartoonist - Personality: the gentlest of his brothers, he often gets roped into helping Grant keep the pack from running too wild. Bit of a softie; loves his husband and loves his job. Closest relationship is with Scout. Doesn’t approve of Scout being a merc but is too scared to say so. The family heart.

Jacob - 31 years old - Heterosexual - Occupation: Freelance guitarist - Personality: the firstborn of the only set of twins, Jacob is a lot more abrasive and instigating than his twin brother. Can’t grow a beard for shit, which pisses him off. Doesn’t get along well with Timmy, despite them both being talented and devoted artists. The family sword.

Arthur - 31 years old - Pansexual - Occupation: Carpenter - Personality: the second born of the only set of twins, Arthur is far more outgoing and nonchalant than his twin brother. Has a beard and loves it more than life. Secretly has a boyfriend, but is too nervous to come out. Gets along better with Jacob after they’ve become adults. The family shield.

Patrick - 30 years old - Heterosexual - Occupation: Hairdresser - Personality: probably the least social of all of the brothers, he prefers staying out of sight and out of mind tbh. Malcolm - 27 years old - Heteromantic Asexual - Occupation: Wrestler - Personality: the most aggressive and physically competitive of his brothers, there’s nothing he won’t do to win a fight, save for using weapons/lethal force. Hard to get along with, but he still loves his brothers to bits, and was overprotective of Scout when they were younger. The family instigator.

Curtis - 26 years old - Heterosexual - Occupation: Bartender - Personality: was a total fucking mama’s boy growing up, and constantly got in trouble with his brothers for tattling on them. Still argues with Scout every time they see each other. Wants to make Ma proud, but it’s hard for him to keep a job for very long. The family drifter.

Jeremy - 23 years old - Transmale Pansexual - Occupation: Mercenary - Personality: (This is mostly for how he was as a kid) was constantly following his brothers around (especially Malcolm) in hopes of getting in on the fun. Was always treated as the family baby, so everyone was a bit scared to wrestle/fight with him for fear of getting him hurt. Very close to Timmy and Ma. The family runt.

Spy gets so goddamn mad within two seconds of driving, Pyro can't stop swerving, Scout drives like a 16 year old who hasn't realized their own mortality yet, Medic jumps at every little inconsistency on the road, Heavy shouts at other drivers for being too slow/fast, Demo's depth perception is shit, Engie drives like a 90 year old grandmother, and Soldier is fine except he will literally shoot at other drivers for tailgating him/cutting him off.

The whole team has designated “Team Bonding Days” thanks to Miss Pauling, which involves playing board games, card games, and video games (in a slightly more modernized AU) together… this, of course, goes badly sometimes. The worst incident they ever had was a bad game of Monopoly that almost ended Heavy and Medic's friendship.

Uno is forever banned from Team Bonding Days. No explanation is needed.

Off the battlefield and in the base, Miss Pauling had the team set up a chore wheel, which is only occasionally followed. Engie is the most dedicated to following it, while Demo and Sniper try everything in their power to avoid cleaning the base.

Spy sometimes disguises himself as other teammates in order to get out of doing his chores, which has led to a lot of shouting matches that ended in Spy being forced to admit it was his fault.

Spy's favorite teammates to disguise himself as are Engie and Scout. He likes being Engie because he gets to be more affectionate with people without being found out, and he can act as Scout incredibly easily due to knowing him so well (tbh he's so good at masquerading as Scout that it's scary).

For Halloween, everyone put their names in Soldier's hat, then proceeded to pull out other teammates’ names to dress up as for their Halloween party. I dunno exactly who would be who, except that Scout traded around to get Spy, steals one of Spy's suits, and just goes around the party bonking people with a plastic baguette he bought online and speaking in a purposefully bad accent.

Spy: Mon fils, you can speak perfect French and you fucking know it. Please stop making a fool of ton père.

Scout: Hohoho, wee wee, I am a fucking frog that gets pegged by baguettes, hoho!

Everyone can actually cook pretty well, but only very specific things for each merc: Demo can mix and blend drinks (not just alcoholic ones) like it's nothing, Pyro and Heavy like baking, Medic can barbecue anything, Scout knows how to make a lot of shit from scratch (thanks, Ma), Spy and Engie can grill like the true dads they are, Soldier will deep fry every piece of food he eats, and Sniper makes the best soups and stews imaginable.

In order of least to most messy bedrooms: Spy, Heavy, Engie, Sniper, Pyro, Demoman, Medic, Scout, and Soldier. You'd think Scout's would be the worst, but Soldier's room looks like a literal fucking war-zone.

Even when they're not working but get injured in some way (namely from shenanigans/horseplay), people will straight up kill themselves in order to respawn without the injury. The pettiest thing anyone ever respawned off-duty for was Medic suiciding over a tiny ass paper cut.

Demoman is scarily competent at the weirdest of times. For instance, Engie was once trying to figure out how to fix an issue on one of his turrets, only for Demo to stumble over, completely shitfaced, and point out the problem as well as the solution, before passing out under Engie's worktable. Demo doesn't remember this at all.

The first time Engie swore in front of the team in excess (due to dropping a hammer on his foot while he was tinkering), everyone was absolutely horrified because they had only ever heard him say “fiddlesticks” and the like.

Medic's room may not be the messiest, but goddamn is his office a fucking bomb waiting to go off 90% of the time. No one but Medic can find anything in the mess, which is just fine by him.

Heavy likes to sing (mostly just to Sasha) when he's cleaning her in the locker room. The others try to be within hearing range when he does this, because holy fuck, Heavy is a very good singer! He mostly just sings soft songs/lullabies, so his singing is sometimes used by the team insomniacs to help them get some much needed rest.

Okay, another group one. The mercs during shopping trips together:

Demoman: Sneaks a shit ton of alcohol into the cart when no one's looking. Starts complaining if he has to be at the store for too long; will try and sneak away to go home at least once during the trip. Accidentally bumps into a display case and makes a huge fucking mess.

Pyro: Sits obediently in the cart the whole time, occasionally nabbing candy and stuffed animals off of nearby shelves. Will puppy-dog eyes their way into getting everything they grabbed, no matter how much it is.

Spy: Somehow managed to steal an employee uniform and he pretends to work at the store the whole trip; the other mercs keep accidentally falling for it and asking for his help. This all goes to shit when a Karen starts shouting at him over something he didn't do, and he straight up slaps her.

Sniper: King of forgetting wtf was on the list and just grabs shit on the grounds of “Doc said we needed milk, right?” and other such excuses. Knows where everything is despite never having come here before.

Scout: “Gimme the list, I can get everythin' in, like, ten minutes!” Wants to speedrun grocery shopping due to years of shopping with his mom and brothers. Will run loose if left unsupervised and accidentally bust ass on some spilled milk.

Soldier: The one who spilled the milk that Scout busts his ass on. Insists he knows where he's going, but doesn't. Gets into a fistfight with a soccer mom while everyone's waiting to check out; the soccer mom won.

Engineer: Has a full, printed list of everything the team needs, which is organized by aisle number. Is the one who gives into Pyro's begging. Team Dad; keeps an eye on everyone and stops the soccer mom from murdering Soldier.

Heavy: Pushes the cart the entire time. Spends way too money on stuff in the protein shake aisle. At one point runs the cart down the aisle and let's go because Pyro wanted him to, and it ends up crashing into Demo.

Medic: Argues with the pharmacists at the pharmacy counter. Got lost with Soldier until they found Scout unconscious, so he had to perform CPR in the dairy aisle and a fucking paramedic criticized him the whole time; the paramedic hasn't been seen since.

BONUS Miss Pauling: Tries to more or less chaperone this shitshow of a shopping trip. Starts out cheerful and happy, ends up threatening to put child leashes on every last one of these dumbasses.

After Spy taught him how to dance in Expiration Date, Scout goes to him occasionally for advice, such as how to change a tire, how to cook certain things, how tf to do laundry, etc. Spy secretly loves that Scout does this, and tries to help him as much as he can.

Everyone on the team has called Engie “Dad” at least once, even Spy and Medic. No one comments on it.

Medic has been known to go on hour long tirades about anti-vaxxers, with Engie sometimes joining in.

Heavy buys Pyro stuffed animals during his trips to visit his family, which has started a tradition of everyone buying Pyro stuffed animals/toys when they go somewhere without them. Pyro's room is starting to look like a preschooler’s dream bedroom.

Scout calls his mom every other Friday, and he’ll occasionally let his teammates talk to her. Soldier always goes on and on about how good a soldier Scout has been (Scout cries like a baby), Medic tells her about Scout’s latest injuries (Scout damn near chokes him over it), Sniper is just glad to talk to a mom who won’t scold him for the whole phone call, Pyro hums music while Scout’s Ma sings the lyrics for them, Heavy talks about living in huge families with her, Demo asks her how she’s doing and if he can help her out at all, Engie is polite and also praises Scout, and Spy just tells her he’ll call her later before hanging up (Scout punches him for being rude to his mama).

Spy calls Scout's mom on the Fridays that Scout doesn't, mostly to check on her and sometimes to get into some, uh, “steamy” conversations over the phone. Sniper overheard a conversation between them once and now he can't look Scout or Spy in the eyes anymore.

Hey party people! Sorry I’ve been a bit out of the loop. Due to what’s going on in the world, adulting sorta got in the way and I have to DVR the final episode. No one tagged me, but I just wanted to add my two cents since this is officially the end and this is a really cute tag.

1. Who was your overall favorite member of Team Danger and why?

Charlotte hands down. She was brilliant, sassy and just a great friend to Henry no matter what. She’s one of the main reasons why I decided to tune into the show. I saw a lot of myself in her. I was once that little smart black girl that no one listened too. But it’s okay though, but that GLOW UP is real! I know from experience lol.

2. Who was your favorite non-team danger character and why?

Y'all know I love Fran the security guard. She should’ve gotten more air time. I just think she’s hilarious! I’d loved to see her try to wrestle a dolphin any day!

3. Who was your favorite villain and why?

Dr. Minyak & Nurse Cohort. I just gotta respect his hustle. Other than Rex and Rick Twitler, I feel like he’s the only everyday villain who always came close to defeating Captain Man & Kid Danger. He always had unique plans; from capturing and brain-altering Charlotte to taking Piper and the man fan hostage, he was always creative. Plus I love his little temper tantrums he sometimes throws. 

4. What were your top five favorite Henry Danger episodes of all time and why?

1) All time Fav would go to The Great Cactus Con. From the dopeyness of how everyone can do a backflip instead of Ray. How Charlotte gets to show off her fashion design skills. How Piper unofficially works with Team Danger. Plus I love the cute romantic bit between Jasper and Patina. 2) Rumblr- That whole episode was just comedy gold for me. They should’ve brought Kyle back for the finale and had him show up at kid danger’s funeral  3) I dream of Danger - Its Char’s episode. I like how it alluded to Charlotte’s dream might come true but it doesn’t. However, I don’t like how they just moved on like the episode never happened even when Jasper thinks that char likes him. 4) Flabber Gassed- I love that char got to show off her fighting skills and how happy Jasper was to be a superhero. 5) Holey Moley- I straight up die for laughter every time I see that episode. I love how Henry kept saying, “oh look, a downside.” I feel like that episode would have been a sketch on All That or the Amanda Show. It just felt like good ole Nickelodeon comedy.

5. What were your top five least favorite Henry Danger episodes of all time and why?

1) Henry’s Birthday- Call me a diva, but if anyone treated me like that on my birthday, the party is OVER! 2) Captain Makini (I think that's what it’s called). Sorry, I'm not really a fan of Frankie Grande and though he was great for the musical, I really don’t think he needed a second episode. 3) Meet Cute Crush- I’m sorry, anything involving Piper is just physical and emotionally draining. All that girl does is yell. Thank u, next. 4) Sick & Wired- Because I got sick and tired of Ray’s shenanigans. 5) JAM Session- Now Piper isn’t my favorite character, but how that girl was manipulated all over a bet was just stupid and disrespectful.

6. What was your favorite running gag and why?

1) Fran’s line, “There’s only one in the whole world, and we got it!” Swellview must be a fun, mysterious place that always gets amazing things lol. 2) When everyone says “Click” before hanging up their phone. I find it funny because I’m pretty sure the kids had never owned a flip phone in their lives.

7. What was your favorite one-off throw away gag and why?

When shwoz referenced his song from the musical when he said, “Science, science, science, I’ve said this already.” I think he said this in Theranos boot. And also the grammar fights and how grammar rules don’t apply to Charlotte lol.

8. What episode, which character and which duo made you laugh the most?

I think Holey Moley & Rumblr both made me laugh the most. Those were great episodes. Jasper would have to be the funniest. That boy says the darndest things lol. Hensper. Because of how Henry loved Jasper’s mustache and wanted to get one too. And when Jasper and Henry were both “Dude. Bro. Dude. Bro. DUDE!” Over the Patina situation and Charlotte had to break them up.

9. What episode, which character and which duo made you the most emotional?

I think it was Second episode of the finale episodes, when Henry was freaking out at the end because he was alone and Rex had sent Ray A Million and one years into the past. The fact that he literally had to think like all of his friends because obviously that’s what he was used to, everyone being there to help figure out a plan and keep swellview safe. And the fact that for that moment he was kid danger and all alone was really scary for him.

10. How would you rank each season from 1 to 5, one being the best and five being the worst?

I would rank season 5 as 1. It overall had great episodes and delved into different genres and fun tv and movie tropes. It made it a joy to watch, though some episodes leading towards the end didn’t quite catch me. Season 4 would be like a high 4 but not exactly a 5. Season 3 was sorta Meh to me. So maybe a #.  Season 2 would be a 4 and season 1 would be like a 4 because it was a the beginning to a great show and was still working out the kinks a bit.

11. Who was your favorite duo in the show (romantic or non-romantic)?

Chenry 100%. The friendship that those two have is great! Now I must say, I hate that Nick was still posting about them on their youtube page for clout knowing that it wasn’t gonna happen. I felt like they did that just so people would watch the final episodes. I was gonna watch regardless, but really Nick? Really?

12. What was your favorite Henry and Ray moment/episode?

The bro song! Plus I love that it kept getting referenced after the musical as well.

13. What was your favorite Chenry moment/episode?

 When Char was controlling  Henry in flabber gassed, she made him jump up and down while clapping! I love that even shwoz joined in too lol. And when Henry was concerned about her after she ate bad meat from the auto snacker.

14. What was your favorite Hensper moment/episode?

The mustache scene from Grand Theft Otto, “dude if I had one, I’d be Man Danger!”

15. What was your favorite Chensper moment/episode?

This also kinda includes Ray but when they were all stealing Joss Ross’s gift from her birthday party and they were just casually leaving. And how Jasper kept saying, “It’s not stealing if it’s from a criminal.” Plus I like the episode when Hen and Char have to pretend to date just to see if Jasper would keep their secret. The boy poured a whole bowl of pees down his shirt lmaoooo!!

16. If you could go back and change one element of the show, what would it be?

 Have Ray grow up and stop fawning over Henry’s mom. It was just plain creepy! Oh and put some respect on my girl Charlotte’s name.

17. If you could say one thing to each main character in the pilot, what would it be?

Life isn’t always about one day getting a statue, (I’m looking at YOU Captain Man). Crime-fighting is fun and being a sidekick could literally every kid’s dream. But don’t forget to be a kid. Hangout with your friends, go to school, go on dates. Do the whole growing up thing. But at the end of the day, you have to do what’s best for you.

18. If you could say one thing to each main character in the finale, what would it be?

Thank you for sharing your lives with me and I am so so sooo proud of you all! 

19. Were you satisfied with the finale? What part was your favorite and what part was your least favorite?

 Honestly, I think it was okay for what it was. My fav part was when Jasper literally had to carry Char out of the mancave because she refused to leave Henry behind. I love that they decided to stick together. They did leave a lot of storylines open. I thought Joss Moss would be revealed as the real Mob boss. I thought Rick Twitler would regain his memory. Where the heck is Gooch? Caitlin? Chenry (for obvious reasons). I'm just spitballing here. Was it good? Yes. could it have been better? Hell yes.

20. What would your ideal Henry danger spin off look like?

 Charlotte and Henry have powers and Jasper can fight! Dystopia. That was the spin-off that I wanted! I don’t really care about the new kids as much. They’re college-aged too? Just imagine the shenanigans they would get into! But we need to kick the Charlotte hating writer off the staff though. Can The CW pick this show up?

21. Where do you personally see the characters 10 years from now? What are they doing, who are they with, where are they in their lives - what do you think happened to them? Most importantly, are they happy?

 I honestly haven’t thought about it. But I believe no matter what they do or where they may end up, they will be happy. They’ll probably always be a team.

22. What was your favorite part of the show and why did it initially draw you in?

It became an escape from my normal adult life. (I’m saying like I’m old. I’m only 23.) I randomly flipped it on one day, I can't remember what episode it was, but from then on, I was hooked. I used to watch it a while back, but I fell off, but at that moment on time, it was easy for me to fall right back into it.

23. What was your favourite part of the fandom and why did it initially draw you in?

The friends I’ve made, the people have met! They are the best out of all the fandoms I’m a part of. I’ve been on tumblr for years and never had I have a group of people be so nice, supportive and just incorporate me into things. I love you guys so much!

24. Describe your overall emotions/feelings regarding the show being over and the show in general, looking back on it as a whole, with one quote from the show.

It’s a bittersweet feeling. I hate to see it go. But all good things must come to an end. But I guess there’s nothing better to say than, “Feels Good.”

25. If you were able to add one scene in the finale, what would you add?

 I don’t know honestly. Maybe we could have seen him reunite with his friends and family. Especially Charlotte and Jasper, Afterall, they probably thought that their best friend was dead for all they knew.

26. Favorite outfit/hair style?

 Charlotte’s Date outfit with Jack Swagger. Sis was rockin that romper. Also when Jasper and Charlotte were helper bunnies! Those outfits were hilarious and cute.

27.Least favorite character?

I'm sorry but Piper. She was worse than the whole annoying little sister trope. I swear all ash did was yell through most of the seasons and then they gave this chick a driver’s license, I mean what?? Plus i think her reaction to finding out Henry was kid danger was better in Broken Armed and Dangerous, than in twisted sister.

Since most of y'all Don't seem to Know her.... Let’s DO THIS BRIEF HISTORY OF ROBIN!STEPH BUCKLE TF UP BITCHES

(Note: For the most part, Steph’s time as Robin is included in the War Games TPB, especially because it serves as a catalyst for said event. Highly recommended the read, but mind, like, everything about it) ((also also tumblr only allows 10 pics, so I'm cherry picking my fav panels/most important ones. + offering a bit of meta. take this with a grain of salt and Please read War Games and draw your own conclusions blah blah))

So to start with, a little Context to Steph’s Start as Robin:

Tim’s dad found out about his Robining & made him hang up the cape+mask. As any Concerned and Reasonable parent would. Steph is still operating as Spoiler at the time, despite many attempts by many members of the batfam (but especially Batman) to dissuade her from crime-fighting.

Due to a gross misunderstanding (as these things tend go in comics *sigh*) Steph, who is dating Tim at the time, sees a girl who was interested in him make a move & thinks that Tim is cheating on her. She channels this grief/mourning/anger into making her own homemade Robin costume and convinces Batman to take her under his wing (he sets the conditions that she must follow every order, with a ‘one strike, you’re out’ kind of policy). She undergoes an unspecified training period to get in Proper Shape For Crime Fighting and Batman starts taking her on various patrols and investigations.

During this time, she also teams up with Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) on more than one occasion (one of my fav panels below, just bc its so stylized lmao. its Cute)

During this time, in true Robin Tradition, Steph builds up quite the rapport with Batman, providing a lighter/comedic side and being a general breath of fresh air and foil to the Dark Knight. (just LOOK at this banter & Bargaining for the batmobile!!! a TRUE ROBIN)

There’s a couple cases that I won't get too far into (but one i want to briefly mention involves Zsasz and Steph going almost a bit too far when trying to subdue him. its a very clear parallel to Jason & serves as foreshadowing for how War Games will play out i.e., Steph’s fate) 

Now during this time, there’s an assassin/merc who is killing off teens who were suspected to be Robin (Tim Drake), which Batman catches wind of and the Dynamic Duo moves in to put an End to. (look at this smug lil robin, catching the Bad Guy™ off guard. ADORABLE)

Another thing to note now, is how Eager Robin is to jump onto the case and into the fray. and how carefully she toes the line when following/questioning batman’s orders. this is touched on many times often either with her able to juuuuust reason with the caped crusader enough to Bend his own orders or even to change his mind on occasion.

(a thing i want to note here with this panel and with this particular time in Steph’s career as Robin is that the writer had her referring to Batman as ‘Boss’. whether this was intentional or not, it most closely resembles, to me, Carrie Kelley’s mannerisms as Robin. i.e. another Robin that the writers may have been using as inspo/to parallel. Carrie’s time as Robin is also defined by Batman’s grief from losing Jason, and is given a very similar probationary status that Steph is given during her time as Robin. coincidence? maybe. but i think not.)

While they lose track of the villain initially, Steph’s quick thinking to place trackers on her is what saves the mission. at the Moment at least. Batman makes a decision to bring Robin along when tracking their prey, but orders her to stay behind in the batplane & ‘not touch anything’ unless ordered to do so. which is where we get the Defining Moment:

When Steph, against orders, jumps into the fray. its something to be admired, and very Typical Robin Behavior (bc where would they be if they weren't impulsive and, well, KIDS, amirite?) but unfortunately, her decision costs them the chance of apprehending the villain, and Batman stays true to his word...

and she's Fired (g o d I'm not the biggest fan of damion scott’s art but this look BROKE MY HEART. i can practically HEAR those choked back tears and see that quivering lip like... G O D BRUCE NO. GIVE HER ANOTHER CHANCE. ANYTHING ELSE THAN WHATS GONNA HAPPEN)

here’s where I'm gonna TL;DR War Games for y’all bc.... holy shit its a LOT. and Steph’s involvement really only begins it, and essentially ends it. (literally lmao. she's featured a little throughout but like. its a Crossover Event™ for a reason. everyone gets a little bit of the spotlight, which means a bit of shuffling around ofc) but Anyways

tl;dr - steph takes one of Batman’s contingency plans on her way out of the cave & implements it w/out being aware of a few Key Details. all out War breaks amongst the different gangs of gotham, with Batman & company trying to regain control of the city & maintain order. Black Mask resurfaces, catches and tortures Steph to learn details about the plan and makes his own grab for power (fun fact, for those of you paying attention to the Big Picture: this essentially sets up for his position later on in Under The (Red) Hood when Jason starts wrestling that control away from him) Steph manages to escape, Batman takes her to Dr. Thompkins clinic, and Leslie reveals that her condition is critical. bruce makes it back in time to be by steph’s side for this:

and then she dies ;-;

BUT THIS IS COMICS- so its revealed initially that Leslie withheld treatment to save Steph’s life to Make A Point and try to dissuade Gotham Youth from following Steph’s path. BUT-BUT WAIT THERES MORE BC THIS IS ~*C O M I C S*~ so its ALSO revealed later on that steph DIDNT die. Leslie helped fake her death and blah blah blah, Steph comes back, gets to be spoiler again, then batgirl and the rest as they say is history

anyways. STRAIGHT FROM THE BAT’S MOUTH THANKS. Steph WAS really™ a Robin™ and as much as DC wants to pry that from my gay goblin hands they WONT be able to. and anyways... She Earned It. okay. give this girl the Respect she deserves. 

(now since I'm a Shipping Blog™, ima add some thoughts regarding her parallel to other robins and how Theoretically a relationship with raven might work out)

Again, the biggest parallel that DEFINES War Games and Steph’s time as Robin, is that to Jason Todd. (fun fact/sidenote: they’re both Leos, so like. Another Connection btwn the two lmao) They’re both impulsive and eager to prove themselves, and follow Batman with unwavering faith and loyalty (up to a Certain Breaking Point that is). They’ve got especially cheeky attitude and flair for drama, and hey. Narratively speaking, writers seem to have a penchant for drawing a few connecting lines between them (again, by starting the WG TPB off with Bruce mourning on Jason’s bday & setting a Tone for the overall event. and then again, by having a major character for UtRH be the very same villain that killed our former girl wonder) 

Now with those lines drawn, and with an understanding of how Jason has interacted with Raven in-canon (with mostly cordial interactions and for the most part respectful analysis of each other’s abilities & strengths), & no known connection between Steph & Rae as of yet, we can really only assume a few things:

-like most of the batboys, Raven is very likely to get along with Steph and to respect her abilities given that Steph respects her in turn.

-Steph’s bright, extroverted personality could again work as a good foil/compliment to Raven’s more introverted/muted one.

-theyve got what i like to call the Bad Dad™ connection (with Steph’s being a former Gotham Rogue™, and Raven’s... well.. y'all Know) Steph’s already shown great Morbid Humor regarding this part of her life (shown in her interactions with Cass) and is very willing to bond with others over Sucky Parents

-while stephanie has a canonical Love™ of Waffles, and raven (at least in regards to her Most Popular fanon from the 03 cartoon) has a fanonical love of them as well. Hence, they ARE the Waffle Queens (embrace the ridiculousness, guys. DO IT)

-Since steph is not an Adopted member of Bruce’s family (& again, more often than not they have attempted to dissuade her from vigilantism) and similarly, due to Batmans Dislike of meta-humans/outsiders messing with Affairs in His City, as well as some of his canonical Distrust™ for Raven due to her mysterious background/nature. this could be another minor/potential bonding point between the two

-likely more??? its getting late, and not much else I can think of off the top of my head, but i might add more to this later. 

as a ship StephRae has as much potential as any other, and since there’s not a lot of canon to really go off, fans can really take it.... wherever and i think thats beautiful

Bilan 2022

2022 was challenging but full of surprises. It was better than 2021 for sure - I made progress in my social life, my finances, I reached a happy self. Work was hard (not to say crap), I almost got burnt out twice, and my managers don't give a sh*t but that's not just me, so, meh. I did get a promotion though. Doesn't make it easier but at least that's that. TRIPS : I spent 2 weeks in South Africa. It was wonderful. I spent 1 week in Johannesburg and 1 week in a safari in Kruger Park. I still can't believe everything I've seen.

I also spent a weekend in Marseille (lovely, hot - I wanna go back to go on boat rides!), 1 day in Cabourg, 2 days in Lyon for work, and 3 days in Bordeaux, where I tried for the first time a No Diet Club Food Tour - yum ! FOOD : Talking about food, I visited as many restaurants I could. My favs were Les 3 B in Boulogne : the food was exquisite! And Le Grand Café d'Athènes which offers real typical Greek Food. CULTURE : I tried to go back to concerts, but not many artists make me want to see them live. So I "just" saw Tommy Cash, Foals, Tate McRae supported by Dylan (both very good), Mirabelle and Chunck No Captain Chunk.

On the other hand, I bought a UGC cinema card that allows me to go to the cinema as much as I want. I watched many movies : Elvis (awesome), Esther 2 (fun), Les 5 Diables, Beast, Plan 75, Ninja Baby (so good), Close, 3 Nuits Par semaine, Le Torrent (meh), and the best movie of 2022 : The Menu. We also watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show animated by actors. I saw Bianca Del Rio live, Trixie Mattel (best drag queen ever!) and Trixie & Katya. Friends invited me to an American comedian's show, Sebastian Marx, for my birthday. He was good !

I attended the Colors Festival which showcase street artists, and the Pop Air exhibition - which was seen on screen in the third season of Emily in Paris !

I took my 5yo nephew to the Jardin d'Acclimatation for a day, we had such a good time. And then my bfd and I visited Parc Astérix ! It was my first time there and we went on back to school day, so the park was almost empty and there were only adults. I carry on training as a pole dancer, but I experimented with pole duo and pole flow classes. Flow is actually more my thing than regular technical pole dancing. Can't wait to take more classes ! We also went to a chess-boxing match. Crazy.

Talking about sports, I discovered the world of wrestling and regularly attend shows in Paris. I'm into it ! :)

Also, I attented 3 weddings (already 1 planned for 2023!) and got one new tattoo.

MY BB19 CAST OPINIONS

Down below you can find my detailed opinions on the BB19 cast. This was written after I read their bios and watched their interviews with Jeff, Ika’s opinions and interviews did not influence these particular opinions (I might write new ones that will be influenced by Ika’s interviews but we’ll see).

Alex Ow: While she does remind me of Natalie (BB18), I think it's mostly fake. She just comes off as someone who tries way too hard to me and I think that it's just not her true personality. I think she's a huge fan of Nicole (BB16, BB18) and is trying to be just like her and is thus copying the "cute, bubbly, awkward" personality thing that Nicole had going, but Nicole was also good at playing the game, and I don't think Alex is gonna be. However, if the houseguests don't see how fake she is, she might go far 'cause they could like her. Her strategy, though, is an exact copy of Nicole's and I don't think it's a good idea to copy the strategy of the previous winner.

Cameron Heard: Even though he does seem like he's very cheerful, upbeat, and friendly, when you really listen to what he has to say he comes off as a bit conceited or even mean. If the other houseguests don't notice this though, I expect him to do very well. He's obviously a superfan who knows a lot about the game, he has a good strategy, and is crazy smart which is never a bad thing. His disadvantage could be certain physical challenges. He did say he snowboards, scuba dives, and stuff, so he might be good at endurance, but he also ended up in the hospital after wrestling, twice, so it seems he doesn't have much strength. But again, I think it all comes down to his social game and we'll just see what that'll be like.

Christmas Abbott: Christmas might be my favorite this season. She seems like such an honest, open, friendly, and cheerful person. Despite that, however, I have to admit that I don't see her getting very far in the game. She doesn't seem to know much about it and her strategy is very basic. I can see her being sort of like Tiffany (BB18); a preseason favorite who is expected to do great things, but then ends up flopping and getting evicted pre-jury. People might see her as a threat, especially a physical one, and she's gonna need a truly great social game to get far in this game. Also, we share a birthday, which is just an immediate point in my book.

Cody Nickson: I think that, if one was to mix Paulie (BB18) and Corey (BB18) into one person, they'd get Cody. He seems like the type of guy who will be dominant in the house and will generally be well liked, much like Paulie, but he also seems a little airheaded like Corey. Much like the two of them, he will probably get in a showmance and all-male alliance. When I read his bio, I really liked him and thought he had hidden smarts and a good strategy and would surprise everyone by going far in the game, but I wasn't so sure after the interview. Even though Paulie was liked in the beginning, he became kinda psycho later on and everybody hated him, and I can see a similar thing happening to Cody. He's either gonna get evicted pre-jury or be in the Final 5. He also seems sort of heartless, which could either be an advantage or a disadvantage.

Dominique Cooper: I honestly really love her. She's my preseason fav next to Christmas. I think she's a nice mix of Natalie and Zakiyah (BB18). Her social game is definitely gonna be strong, but I'm afraid that she's gonna actually turn into Zakiyah; get into a showmance and drop her game because of him, and then float her way to jury. If this doesn't happen, she might not even make it to jury because she doesn't seem to know much about the game or have a great strategy planned out. I do hope she surprises me and kicks everyone's butts, but I don't think we'll be seeing much of her.

Elena Davies: Even though I didn't like her much when I read her bio, she grew on me after I saw her interview. I kind of think that she and I have similar personalities, and relatability is something that I like finding in people. I can see her finding a best female friend and the two of them being the Zakiyah and Da'Vonne (BB17, BB18) of this season. She might try to be super nice and charming at first, but people will start noticing that she can be a bitch later on in the season (as she said herself, she can be abrasive). I don't think she'll be very popular among the female castmates and I see her getting evicted in early jury due to her lack of strategy.

Jason Dent: I definitely think that Jason is unpredictable. I either see him as the class clown whom everyone loves and wants to make an F2 deal with, or the annoying guy who gets evicted fast. I think he seems to have a great personality and could also probably be good at the physical competitions, so it's a shame that he's not very well versed in the game and doesn't have a strategy planned out 'cause I see a little bit of Derrick (BB16) in him and think he could win if he had the smarts, which he unfortunately doesn't seem to have.

Jessica Graf: I feel like Jessica will not be very liked by the female houseguests. She is obviously a huge flirt and I think they'll see her as a threat on more than one level and will want to get her out fast. She also doesn't have a good strategy developed, so unless she aligns herself with the guys, I don't see her making it to jury. And even if she does align herself with them, she's obviously not gonna win. I think she's sort of a Tiffany and Natalie lovechild and will be a quieter Natalie who then gets evicted around the same time Tiffany did.

Jillian Parker: Even though I liked Jillian's strategy at first, I realized how dumb it was when I gave it some thought. She plans to be loyal to the guys and then show them that she's actually a brilliant mastermind, but that would only make them want to get her out even more; and surely they'd choose their bros over her. I think she's very hard to predict, and while I don't dislike her as much as most people do, I don't think she'll make a huge impact on anyone and I see her leaving early on or just floating through the game and then going out in a double eviction, Bridgette (BB18) style. She could definitely become someone's Cabbage Patch Kid.

Josh Martinez: Am I the only one who thinks that Josh is kind of a psycho? Lmao, but seriously, that guy scares me. He's kind of like a giant, rude ape who's just gonna crush everyone to get what he wants. He is another contestant who reminds me of Paulie, but I think that he will show his true colors early on unlike Paulie, people will hate him, and he'll get evicted fast. There is somewhat of a likability factor there since he has a very outgoing personality, and I think he's gonna be good at the physical comps and maybe even the mental ones, but none of it will matter when he starts being rude and loud, and I can guarantee he's gonna do that.

Kevin Schlehuber: I sort of see Kevin as the fun dad type of the group. I think everybody's gonna love him and respect him and nobody's gonna wanna evict him. I can see him making jury, but I definitely don't see him winning. Of course, the show is very unpredictable, so it could go in a completely different direction and he could get evicted pre-jury due to the younger people being intimidated by him. I think he's definitely an interesting one and I'm anxious to see where the show takes him.

Mark Jansen: He's the most precious thing! I seriously think he's so adorable and such a good guy and I just love him. I think he's gonna be the Corey to Cody's Paulie and that he's gonna get into a showmance. While he does strongly remind me of Corey, I like him much more and I'm seriously rooting for him even though I don't actually see him winning. I do see him getting far though, especially since he has a sad backstory that people are just gonna eat up.

Matthew Clines: He has been my favorite right from the start. I think he's a very smart guy, he is a physical threat, he has a great social game, and overall is a promising candidate. I see him being allied with the girls (which is something he said he wants to do) and ending up in a showmance with one of them and then the two of them going to F2. I think he's my overall preseason favorite to win, and I just hope he doesn't disappoint me. I see some Paul (BB18) in him, which is an amazing quality and I hope he doesn't pull a Frank (BB14, BB18) and turns out to be a creep.

Megan Lowder: Even though I absolutely hated her based on her bio, I liked her based on her interview. She can swear in Bosnian which is absolutely amazing and she's a fan of the Harry Potter series, and us Potterheads need to stick together. My prediction is that she and Elena are gonna become best friends, with Megan being the dominant one. After Elena gets evicted, Megan will become even stronger and possibly even make it to F2. She has her strategy planned out in detail, which I don't think is the best idea because you never know what you're gonna get. There are definitely some bad things about her personality and I can see people disliking her, but we'll just have to wait and see because her social game is very hard to predict.

Ramses Soto: What a cutie! I seriously think he's such a fun and positive guy and I want him to get far. I kinda see him getting into an alliance with Cameron and just being this ultra powerful nerd duo and I'd like to see that happen, but I think that teaming up with a good physical player such as Mark would be a great move for him as he seems to have a great social game and he's very smart, but not that athletic. I'm also really hoping that his bubbly personality won't have a counter-effect and annoy people. He has a great strategy planned out, and unlike Megan, he's aware that he might need to change it, which is a good thing. I can see him getting very far if he creates the right alliances, but I don't think I see him winning.

Raven Walton: Raven gives me Meech (BB18) vibes, except she's a lot bubblier. We do have a lot of bubbly contestants this year, but she's the only one whom I find slightly annoying. She said she's gonna tone it down for the actual show, and I hope she does this. I still don't see her getting far though, and I think there's a chance she could get evicted pre-jury just to due to her annoying personality. If this doesn't happen, she will definitely be a floater and, just like I said with Jillian, I can see her becoming a Cabbage Patch Kid. We'll see what happens though, she's a tough one to crack. I can see her being the best at endurance and memory comps, which is a good thing.
