i think some very interesting things are about to happen in my extended family's younger generations bc everyone middle aged and older is either dead dying or seriously falling apart due to various and assorted organ diseases. like, maybe we really are finally going to break the cycle of alcoholism, nicotine addiction, drinking 12 sodas a day and no water, and regularly cooking food where each serving is more than 100% daily value of salt and/or fat and/or sugar. like maybe our sheer terror is going to create a cultural shift. for whatever that's worth.

#one of my cousins went literally fucking blind from diabetic cataracts here recently #now another cousin is in the hospital getting an arterial stent #their brother is turning yellow #turns out this whole devil-may-care approach to health is maybe not the vibe. actually.#me personally i'm about to get real fucking serious about exercise #for fun #because it's enriching #and because i'm not going down that same path if i can help it #which i might not be able to lol!#like maybe our family is just really prone to organ dysfunction lol! or maybe the issue is systemic and thus beyond our control! 🤣🤣🤣#adam talks too much
