“Are you sure Sonic is going to get here fast enough?” Kitsunami questioned, suddenly feeling nervous.

“Not really,” the fox admitted with a small nervous smile. “But it's not like we have a lot of options, do we? Starline has to get back to prison. He's too much of a danger. Even bigger than Eggman, and that's saying something.”

“I know…” the fennec muttered, his gaze once more focusing on the capsule in the middle of the room. He sighed tiredly. “I should have never pulled you into this. I'm sor-”

“If you say I'm sorry one more time, I'm gonna bite you,” Tails warned, putting up one finger as a warning. “What's done is done. Stop beating yourself over it.”

“I-” Kitsunami hesitated. He then nodded and smiled a little. “Alright. Thank you.”
