As a young adult, he had a lot of vices that he dabbled on, some good and then some where bad. Good thing though that he had managed to purge himself off his bad vices. But then he developed yet another one. But in his defense, it wasn't a thing that he did willingly at first. As a known workaholic even before finding his family, he had gained that reputation among his colleagues. And that same reputation carried on when he became Song Yi Jung. And that was the catalyst of his forced vacation -- given by his boss ( his mother ) and his cousins. From one reluctant vacation, came another and another and another. Well he could consider his stint as a member of doctors without borders his working vacation. But his digress.

He patiently waits for a familiar figure to emerge from a familiar building, his finger tapping against the material of his steering wheel. And when he sees him, he quickly moved to the sidewalk and rolled his windows with a biggest smile he could muster.

"Lee Jinki-ssi? Your presence is required." He grins, his voice playful. He unlocks the passenger door for good measure. "And yes, it is I. Your eyes are not playing tricks on you."

It’s only 9:07pm my time but I’m going to be watching the SM new years concert so I thought I better do this now.

I wanted to take a moment to thank people special to me and this blog and my muses. I’ve been writing since 2012, this blog since 2013. I’ve met so many people since then. Some have stayed some have gone. Either way, I’m thankful to everyone who has wrote with me and made so many fun moments. ☺️

@sunflower-dancing : you’re are my bestie! I feel bad when I can’t help you in you’re struggles. But know even if I don’t know what to say or I’m busy at work, I always read all of your messages and listen to what you say. So never feel bad to talk to me. ^^

@frekiheimr : I’m so happy I met you. You are a very special person to me. And I love all of our ships. Those are my babies ^^ also thank you for helping me whenever I get sick. Like when I got lost in the airport, had a panic attack then arrived in California by myself and got sick. You were very comforting and calmed me down until I got help.

@multixkpopxrp : another person I’m happy I met this year. I love you’re writing and you’re Jin takes such good care of Bora. He has made her so happy and confident again. And you’re Innie was the first friend for Tsuki. I know it’s been a really hard year for you so I appreciate every time to write with me on you’re free time. I hope for only good things for you in 2023.

@munniexmuses : I’m so happy we finally found muses that clicked together. I love Yuta and Ten together and you are such a sweet person. I know you have struggles, but you never let that get in your way. You are such a trooper! I’m proud of you!

@lixlatte I know we have been following each other for awhile but we never really had muses that talked to each other. So I was very surprised when you liked Tsuki so much 😆 but I think this is so awesome and we found a way to click now. I’m glad you are back and I hope you are happy,healthy and continue to be so.

I know I have made mistakes this year. I have hurt people. People I’m friends with hurt others. For all my mistakes, I apologize and I want to learn from my mistakes and f*ck ups. I want to spread kindness and make this space and safe space for everyone who wants to write. And just escape from life and have fun.

Sunny’s voice rang through the air as the door opened. He didn’t bother looking over his shoulder; very few people had access to his home, and only one was scheduled for a visit today. And, sure enough, when Sunny turned around, there Jinki stood. 

With a grin, he opened his arms. “How are you? Good, I hope!” Patting Jinki on the back, Sunny gripped his shoulders with a wide grin. “Hyung’s very excited for today. Our first vlog together!” It was something he’d contemplated for a bit, making videos with someone else, and Jinki seemed to be a wonderful candidate for this.

I’ve been trying to wrap my head around what that nickname possibly means for a few minutes, and I still don’t get it. ㅋㅋ But why am I thinking about that when noona finally sent me a text message after a million years! There’s no such thing as being late, though I really am glad I received a message from you again. You made my year already, and it hasn’t even been a good ten days. ㅋ

Without checking the Caller ID, Jihyo had answered the incoming call in a rush. Making a typical 'Yeoboseyo?' as her greeting, the familiar, kind voice that responded from the other end of the line, automatically caused her to widen her eyes then smile widely. "Jinki-yah... It's good to hear your voice too." She almost said in a whisper and couldn't hold back her squeal.

A sense of relief and ease filled her at knowing the fact he reached out to her. She was getting so worried about him and was wondering if he was doing okay with his service. As much as he needed his space and time to communicate with her, it didn't push away the sentiments of her missing his existence. "How have you been? Do you have any new stories to tell me?" The questions were asked with a slightly louder, but sweeter voice. She then sat down on her chair and chucked the pen she was holding towards her desk, deciding to put all of her attention to her friend instead of multitasking.
