the way gaster's presence permeates every inch of deltarune without him appearing or even being mentioned by name genuinely drives me fucking bonkers like its perhaps one of the most in-depth cases of haunting the narrative i've ever seen

#only thing up there with it (for me) is rose in steven universe. but like srsly its fucking CRAZY how much everything in deltarune just #has gaster's grubby little holed hands over it. its genuinely like looking into the void and it staring back #once you learn about everything that connects to gaster you can never unsee it and you start seeing him everywhere #and hes LITERALLY staring back bcuz hes the one running this whole program and quite literally has told us on twitter that he is #AWARE OF US LOOKING FOR HIM AND HAS BEEN LOOKING FOR US IN RETURN.
