I was just mentioning this to a friend but it's interesting to contrast SH and the Sharran cult with durge and the Bhaalist cult. you'd expect the ego-stroking and the gaslighting to come out of the Sharrans and the brute forcing to come out of the Bhaalists cult-wise, but it's backwards.
