#I have stuff to say I’ll hop on the laptop in a couple hours#but that post was mostly america specific#which isn’t incorrect or anything just the examples were most of it was global problems#and I can’t speak for other countries but the ipl has impacted Indian sports. SO much not just cricket#the sport growing the fastest in india is kabaddi (which. lot to say about nationalism and that)#and the reason for it is the private league structure adapted from the success of the ipl#which itself was from the nfl and nba and american sports#once again american influence everywhere lol but yeah I’ll write the whole post if when I get time todayyyy#know it’s about child athletes not athletes in general I promise there’s a link 😭 somewhere….. lmao
