oh i also hate when people talk about high fantasy as if it exclusively consists of medieval settings like. if there is a fictional world with dragons and wizards and talking animals it's high fantasy!! even if they also have cars or portable radios or like. computer age fashion

#once again a complaint about mtg fans #you're allowed to dislike the heavy 80s pop culture/technology influence of duskmourn #but acting like a world with ancient demons and protective spirits and powerful illusions isn't high fantasy is just silly
