I'll tell you what, waking up and checking the discord and my dash now I'm in the Discworld fandom is way better than when I was waking up and checking twitter in the morning.
#no comparison really#but sometimes i think back to the times before i deleted the twitter app#the bad thing about the ofmd fandom was that everyone i knew was on twitter and that place is Not Chill#i like it here#i feel cosy#i've seen posts discussing the potential for copaganda in the city watch series and they have actually been pretty reasonable discussions!#on twitter there would be witch hunts and cancel posts and zero nuance#and actually i wouldnt see any of the discourse but i would see lots of people complaining that discourse was happening and having opinions#i have bills to pay#and art to make#i don't have the spare time or energy for that#anyway Tumblr discworld fandom you're a delight and i love you ❤️#magpie.txt
