What other Yugioh ships do you like?

Only small handful of others really. Mostly ones I've had since I was a kid, I don't really delve much into shipping like I used to, though the ships I do ship I ship hard lolol

I've also only watched DM, GX, and 5Ds so there's that too on the quantity subject.

I want them to kiss... I'm just saying, Duke only started showing interest in Serenity after Tristan made it clear he liked her from my recollection. He was just trying to make Tristan jealous and get his attention. That's my delusion and I'm sticking to it. And when I was a kid I loved Atem and Mana. I loved the idea of them. It's one that's a really low-key ship for me I don't have any particularly strong opinions or stance about it but I'll probably take it with me to the grave regardless.

I've been screamed at for shipping Yugi and Atem with Téa and Mana and not each other when I never even cared much for that ship anyway I just don't interpret their relationship as romantic, so yeah. That turned me completely off of that ship I just wanna say. Also why I don't really engage with the DM side of the fandom anymore, especially when we're talking about shipping.

I used to be a fan of Joey and Mai as a ship when I was a kid, but not as much these days. I mean, if she wasn't like 10 years older than him, that would be one thing. But she is, so that kinda wrecks it when he's not an adult as well... y'know..? Even then, 10 years is a bit too big of a gap for me regardless haha

The ship in 5Ds I like the most is Jack and Carly, bar none. Scoopshipping supremacy is my middle name! I shipped them before I even watched then show, dude. I watched it because of them. And they did not disappoint....... until the writers took their relationship out back and shot it by basically pretending it didn't exist in the 2nd half but shhhhhhhhhhhh ignore that!!! Having a natural leadership and air of confidence around them that puts others abd particularly (Judai and Percy) at ease because even if the don't realise it at first they've found their equal.

Someone who they can fight alongside as if there beating from the same heart. Who just by being there fill the other with confidence. They understand when the other is hurting, (Johan and Jason) turning a serious situation into a game or to make fun of it to get (Judai and Percy) to relax because they know its getting to them.

Johan sacrificing himself to save the others for Judai to be free, Jason sacrificing himself for others and never getting to say goodbye/saving Percy from an attack or Tartarus.

in my writing, i’ll be using the japanese names for all of the characters ( unless your portrayal is using one of the american dub names, in which case i’ll refer to them by that name ) and i’d prefer that he not be referred to as jaden during interactions. it’s not a huge deal, but the characterization differs so greatly between the two iterations that i basically separate them entirely, and i suppose it’s a little bit of a pet peeve.

Almost, the Naruto fandom, not just on tumblr but everywhere, with it’s constant ship wars and best girl wars. Many of the fans from what I’ve seen would not hesitate to throw fellow fans, ships, or characters under the bus in order to elevate their favorites and some even act proud of their actions. Those actions disgusted me and almost made me hate the franchise. Then I realized that the fandom’s actions should not dictate how I feel about the series. I got into it because I like the premise and characters so I just ignore the extremists and enjoy the fandom the best way that suits me.

N: Your favorite fanfiction or fanauthor

I really like the Datastorm fanfic Writing Life written by jczala. It’s a very nice fanfic and well written. I also like the Naruto fanfics written by some of the tumblr users I follow; they’re all talented.

S: Show us an example of your personal headcanon

I remember making an addition to an Sasusaku post listing our headcanons and I made one where Sasuke and Sakura bonded together through his hawks since he owns them. I even mentioned how he gave a hawk hatching to his daughter Sarada when she became a genin.

I have another headcanon for Yusaku before the Lost Incident involving his family, particularly with his mom. I hope we see his family and know what happened to them. I headcanon that Yusaku was very close with his mom and that he knows all about computers from her; I like to thing his mom had a career involving computers and technology. I also think Yusaku would defend his mom if anyone would try to badmouth her and he’s still looking for her in secret. He misses he a lot but he doesn’t want the others to know because he doesn’t want anyone to worry about him too much.
