Hey, do think you’ll come around to writing the Otto x Velaryon oc fic you mentioned? I thought the idea was amazing, especially if the fics main focus would be the dynamics between the Hightower family, like Otto and Alicent and her children and his thoughts on his decisions and the situation he put them in. And also seeing Otto be charming would be so much fun especially with how he originally send Aemond to secure the alliance.

I don’t know tbh but if that’s something y’all would be interested in, I could try my hand at it and see if anything flows. It was fun idea but I guess I’d have to see if I can even translate that to a fic.

I have this otto x oc thing sitting in my drafts, it sort of petered out a bit. But one thing I did like about how it is that it started pretty early (it started during ep 4 of the show). Idk I would like the idea of hitting the main otto beats (sending Alicent to viserys, the hunt, viserys and otto break up, his return during driftmark, trying to get the driftmark heir changed, trying to find aegon). That would require our velaryon oc to be around a bit sooner

And one thing I was thinking about was why otto decided to go to viserys post finding out about Rhaenyra and daemon at the brothel. By that point, he had to see that viserys was willing to make excuses for/cling to Rhaenyra being heir out of guilt. I always wonder what would’ve happened if he just laid the tracks for the rumor to spread. Perhaps if it made it back to driftmark… through a person instead 👀🤷🏽‍♀️
