Here’s some background info about the au : Everything and everyone around KEL looks so sad and KEL feels it’s his duty to cheer everyone up, no matter how much or how hard he tries…everyone’s just so miserable. In this DTIYS it shows all them hanging out but everyone continues to look miserable.

Unfortunately I don’t have reference sheets for any of them, sorry :(

OMORI takes place in late 90s-00s. Gilmore Girls started airing in 2000. The characters are known for watching TV together. Therefore it is possible that in a world where nothing happened to the gang, Aubrey and Mari (perhaps sometimes Basil tagged along) watched Gilmore Girls together. Kel and Hero definitely weren't too into it, I could see Hero watching it together with Mari during college but I doubt Kel would enjoy it. It's Aubrey's soft spot, plus she gets to hang out with Mari. Sunny only tagged along because he had nothing better to do at that moment (and Aubrey called!). Basil's just one of the girls. He's. He'd enjoy it. Not as much as the girls, but he'd like it.
