So character b says 'don't worry, come with me' and leads them away. character a can hardly walk but they trust + follow them, only to realise that they're not headed to a bathroom, character b just took them to a secluded area (even further away from a potential bathroom!) so character a can wet their pants in 'private'

(cue desperation, refusal to accept this is happening, and then of course peeing in their pants when they just can't hold it any more)

thinking about going for a long drive with someone in the passenger seat who really needs to pee. thinking about them saying they can barely hold it, please can we pull over, so I pull over.... onto the nearest shortcut to get them to a bathroom.....down a very bumpy dirt road.

someone holding it on a bus or train, telling themselves over and over if they can just make it to the station they can use the public toilets.... but then when the bus/train does pull in to the station, they realize that if there's no way they can stand up and walk to the bathroom without wetting

Leaving a party in a costume with a mask, being just tipsy enough and just brave enough with their face covered to pee their pants because they really have to go and it's not like anyone will recognize them..
