i just finished my annual invincible rewatch and i ranked the episodes on discord so i figured i'd post it here as well!

INVINCIBLE SEASON 1 EPISODE RANK LIST

1) 7. We Need To Talk

The attempts to slow down Omni-Man, their fight. Everything sort of breaks here, it's lovely

2) 8. Where I Really Come From

Mark vs Omni-Man fight, blood, carnage, emotional trauma, recovery, you get the gist

3) 5. That Actually Hurt Some of my favorite plots in this one! Debbie creating a whole map to buy herself some time was genius, Amber and Eve have some great bonding time in this episode and interact in such a great way (I'm so glad Eve isn't jealous of Amber at all), Mark learning who he can and can't trust, the whole fight in Machinehead's office, everything in this episode ties together so well. This episode would be #1 if not for the cinematic genius in the penultimate and ultimate episodes

4) 4. Neil Armstrong, Eat Your Heart Out Just a step above HGN. Fun superhero plot, fun civilian plot, plus I think there are Damien Darkblood scenes in here (one of my fave characters)

5) 2. Here Goes Nothing I like the Flaxans stuff! It's cool, plus Eve's first appearance <333 and a look into Teen Team. Honestly could go into the tie but the Flaxans plot was really fun lol

6th place tie) 1. It's About Time and 3. Who You Calling Ugly? I don't have enough things about one episode to pick a favorite between the two so I'll rank them the same. The first 3 episodes in general I think drag the most. Honestly, IAT is a solid pilot but a little boring to rewatch. WYCU has a lot of funny moments with the Mt. Rushmore fight, plus there's some cool Damien Darkblood scenes

8) 6. You Look Kinda Dead I just don't like the dead guy soldier thing. It creeps me out. Plus, the whole Amber-Mark drama and stuff. William is an annoying delight tho (/pos)
