Reading Headcanons: Bakugo, Tamaki and Mt. Lady

Bakugo

- The first time you go to his room or dorm, you are surprised by the amount of books he has. 

- Like, you expected the All Might poster, the weights but not the mini shelf stuffed with books.

- When you ask him about it, he scoffs and calls you a dumbass. He believes that a good hero isn’t just a strong one physically; it’s also someone who is intelligent. 

- So, yeah, the boy likes to read.

- He loves the classics, which surprises you. 

- But what really gets his blood going is crime fiction. But not the cheesy ones you find in any old charity shop. No, he loves works by Agatha Christie for example. Why? Because as he reads each book, he’ll tell you who he thinks committed each crime and is pleased as punch when he’s right. 

- He hates romance books. They’re complete and utter nonsense.

- Bakugo, due to his strict sleep schedule and workout routine, can’t read as much as he wants, but whenever there’s a peaceful moment, he’ll take the chance to read.

- However, he needs peace and quiet to read. The last time he read with his friends nearby, Denki ended up getting a concussion after Bakugo threw the book at him for not shutting up. 

Tamaki

- Oml, Baby Boy loves to read!!!

- You first discover your boyfriend’s passion for reading when you go on a beach trip with him, Nejire and Mirio. 

- Mirio and Nejire were playing some strange game of tag and volleyball (don’t even ask…) and your boyfriend was sitting under the umbrella, reading a book. 

- You’d gone over and sat next to him, watching him read until he finally noticed you, panicking and feeling awful for making you wait for whatever it was you needed

- He loves to read since it takes him into another world where he can just be a spectator and not the star.

- He loves fantasy books and also is interested in books about animals. After all, the more he knows, the better he can use his quirk. But fantasy is definitely his favorite genre. Pixies, wizards, princesses, goblins, dragons, orks, you name it, he reads it.

- He doesn’t like horror books, since they make him scared, sweet baby. But what he hates is those erotic novels. He hasn’t ever tried to read one, just the titles and covers make him stammer and hide in the corner.

- As one of the Big Three, Tamaki doesn’t get the chance to read as much as he wants to, especially with his work placement. But, since he doesn’t really have a massive social life, if he can get a moment of peace, he will find the time to read.

- Reading for this boy is a literal ritual. He hates being caught reading as people ask too many questions about the books. So he tends to go to his room, light a candle, dim the lighting. He even makes a cup of herbal tea and will read for as long as he likes.

Mount Lady aka Yu Takeyama

- For the Giant Goddess, I’m afraid to say she isn’t a massive reader

- But if she is reading anything, it’s a magazine.

- Sorry! I just don’t see her being the kinda gal who wants to curl up with a book when she could be out having fun.

Slumber party with Monsta X!

A/N: OMG this was such a cute request!! (Is a onesie party the same as a slumber party?) I hope I interpreted this request right. And I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did!! ((also, tag urself, I'm Minhyuk))

Shownu

First time at a slumber party

Kihyun told him to bring some snacks and he brings ingredients for gimbap

*shrugs* “Gimbap is a snack food for me”

sleeps shirtless at home, so he doesn’t think to bring one to sleep in. Kihyun has to find him a shirt in XXL

The group somehow gets to talking about deep stuff, and he lowkey gives good advice (surprising everyone)

SNORES. omg. wakes Minhyuk up with his buzzsaw-like snores.

Wonho

Brings ALL his vitamins - talks about them nonstop

Changkyun challenges him to a push-up challenge - he wins

Calls his mother to say goodnight before it gets too late - “….yes, mom I have brushed my teeth…. ok love you too..”

Talks in his sleep - just random words. sometimes numbers.

Gets up in the middle of the night to pee. accidentally steps on Changkyun’s foot and wakes him up to apologize (“nnnNNN it’s ok i swear please just let me go back to sleep”)

Minhyuk

The one who keeps going on about “pulling an all-nighter”

But he’s the second one to fall asleep (after Hyungwon) ((on Shownu’s chest))

Eats way too many jelly babies

Brings video games. gets way too loud and competitive (the others have to constantly tell him to calm down)

A blanket and space hog oml. poor Shownu - he wakes up in the morning cramped and cold

wakes up in the middle of the night terrified because of Shownu’s snoring. tries to wake Hyungwon up and basically gets slapped

Kihyun

The one hosting the slumber party

“Please don’t get any soda on the carpet or my mom will kill me”

Over-prepares - hella blankets and pillows/cushions (makes everyone extra cozy though, so no one is complaining)

Disappears upstairs for half an hour (he’s doing his skin care routine)

Has midnight snacks prepared (hot chocolate and cookies ftw)

Sets an alarm on his phone so that he can wake up the earliest and make breakfast for everyone

Hyungwon

Has no filter after midnight - “Minhyuk, you need to stop wearing glasses without lenses. It’s freaking embarrassing”

Eats Doritos mindlessly when he starts to get sleepy. just keeps shoving them in there.

“If you wake me up, I’ll punch you in the throat”

First one to fall asleep

Changkyun, Jooheon and Minhyuk take turns stacking random things on his face after he falls asleep

Last one to wake up in the morning - Shownu has to drag him out from under the blankets by his ankle

Jooheon

“Truth or dare! Let’s play truth or dare!”

(always goes for truth though - too scared to do dares lmao)

Sees that Kihyun has a karaoke machine and he begs Kihyun to let them do karaoke (”ok, but we can’t be too loud. my parents are asleep upstairs”)

raps/whispers/sings and basically turns the karaoke session into an ASMR recording while the others wheeze/laugh

Snapchats EVERYTHING

brings his Majin Buu plushie and no one mentions how weird it is a boy his age still sleeps with a stuffed toy

Changkyun

Brings those magazines (Kihyun: “oh mY GOD GET THOSE OUT OF MY HOUSE”)

Hasn’t had this much freedom before - Wonho has to beg him to brush his teeth

gives the weirdest dares - “Shownu, I dare you to suck on Hyungwon’s nose”

is the only one wearing a matching PJs set - “I have to look good whatever I’m doing, even if it is just sleeping”

reads everyone creepypasta/urban legend stories from his phone (Jooheon: “stop. you gotta stop.”)
