You and @limerental put my issues with these additions into words far better than I could have.

"Jaskier being prioritized by large parts of the fanbase over Yennefer is an example a problem that fandoms have with latching onto white male minor characters to the point where WOC leads get sidelined" and "You're not a better Witcher fan for not liking jaskier" are statements that can both coexist and "Don't hate on the actor because you don't like the character" is just common fucking sense OH MY GOD

#yeah hi what the fuck happened to my post #the first part was... not meant to be a dispute #fandoms by and large have issues with sidelining WOC leads #and disputing it and laying out a room-length scroll of reasons why YOU PERSONALLY don't favor yen is unnecessary #especially bringing up her screentime bc thats just... not true?#like... between jaskier and yennefer only ONE of those characters actually shows up in s1 past episode 6 #she has so much more screen time than Jaskier and i feel like even if you ARE mainly focusing on Jaskier when you watch s1.....#THATS STILL VERY EASY TO SEE #oml *I* mainly focused on jaskier when i first watched s1 and I still knew yennefer was a far more prominent character than him #and if i re-watch before s2 im taking the bard goggles off because im sure i missed a shit ton #also i wanna see yenny boo again
