I figured out how to make the Cricut print and cut stickers with a background image! So I have these perfectly cut full sticker sheets that will be available to buy, and are made with the original sticker paper I got. Rereading “Old Friends, New Promises” and I’m OMGSOEXCITED because for a while I thought I’d only imagined the “Man in Havana” conversation/callback, but here it is! I love your reworking of this episode; Mickey needs more love and he gets it here; you show that he’s NOT just a tin dog, he’s an essential member of Team TARDIS; being tech support and standing lookout are important jobs. I love his interactions with Rose & Sarah Jane, and his newfound appreciation of the Doctor (Hugs OFNP!Mickey)

The changes in Mickey are one of many things I love about writing that series. What he doesn’t isn’t really that different--tech support and standing lookout--but he takes more pride in it. And because he takes pride in it, he does more and does a better job. 

There is the piece of the Doctor actually showing that he values Mickey’s help, but a lot of the change is internal. It’s been fun to work with.
