Omg Winter Disco Cosmic Nova & her sister decoate their Christmas tree together in the Malibu dreamhouse. After turning on the Christmas lights of the tree, they put all the christmas presents underneath it as well. LOL Surprise Cosmic Queen really wants to open all her presents, but OMG big sister Cosmic Nova stops her. She has to wait until Christmas day like everyone else! After waking up, Cosmic Nova prepares a surprise Christmas gift for her little sister. She's getting a dog (puppy) for Christmas! Winter Disco

I finally have the doll I’ve wanted most from the Winter Disco lineup- Snowlicious! Actually I’ve had her for about two weeks now, but mine was defective and I had to wait for MGA to send me a nude replacement doll with a good face lol She got here yesterday and I finished styling her today!

She’s perfect. Her hair color, her makeup, the outfit..ugh. I knew she would be my favorite of this collection. Her glitter eyeshadow is amazing too, it’s this iridescent white with a blue shift. Magical.  She got her hair washed and conditioned, then once it dried I flat ironed it and put a cello on her head to get it really really flat.  I love her so much oml

Her face is not 100% flawless but she’s incredible regardless. I seemingly don’t mind some subtle flaws on these dolls which is really strange for a perfectionist like me; apparently I’ve started warming up to a little imperfection now and then.  Her outfit is very 70′s x early 00′s which I adore, the pieces are amazingly well made (no surprise bc this entire line is quality af) and what’s most interesting about Snow in particular is that she technically has two outfits- her underwear isn’t an actual part of her main outfit like the other dolls, she comes with this extra top and the bottoms need to be removed in order to put on the pants. Her pants have belt loops on them too, I was just too lazy to thread the belt into them skskks Here she is with her full outfit on, including her cute fluffy hat:

Crystal and my Swag/Bee duplicates are in a different spot since I ran out of room on the shelf lol, I think I’ll need to build an entire display for my OMGs.

DJ is amazing too, the chains on her pants are real!! Still not sure if I want to take her hair down so she’s keeping the pigtails for now.  I do have Cosmic Nova as well, but she’s getting her bangs rerooted and tinsel removed so I’m going to buy a second to leave stock, and I’m waiting on the amazing Shadow to come on the 1st of November. She’s probably my favorite OMG so far so I’m V excited for her! Will get Dollie eventually too.  So despite some issues with facial QC for Winter Disco, I’m just as impressed with this line as I was with Series 1 and the quality of the clothes and accessories might even be better, which is saying a lot bc Series 1 was already so high in quality. Definitely worth the price and I stan heavilyyyyyyyyy

so i bought an lol omg winter disco doll (again) today and like i got dollie cuz she was the only one at my walmart and can i just say im so unimpressed by her hair like its super soft and lovely but i had to put work into it and like not like neonlicious were all i had to do was brush her hair and then its nice no like i had to fix her pigtails multiple times and there still not as nice as id like and i had to fix the white part of her hair cuz you can see all the plugs and like its fine i guess for me cuz shes legit going on a shelf and ill never see the back of her head unless im fixing her or dusting the shelf but its really annoying to me

LOL OMG dolls continue to impress and delight me– i honestly don't think any other doll on the shelf comes close to matching their loud, detailed, off-the-wall designs and consistent theming. i haven't bought any besides Gamma Babe but spent some time perusing the wiki and picked out some more favs.

to go a lil off topic from that earlier anon stuff, have you thought about making a tiermaker ranking list of lol omg surprise dolls like you did for rainbow high? been kiiiinda tempted to buy one of them but idk which yet- 🤔

My first thought was “just get Sweets” lol but here’s my list.

The ones that I circled in red are the ones I have and ranked them from my fav to least fav. The rest of them aren’t really ranked within the tiers.

I would say that not all of them are readily available since they’re older. I did have to pay more on eBay or Mercari for ones like Candylicious (my 3rd fav) and the 2019 collectors edition Crystal Star (my 8th fav). The first editions can be hard to find but I think they are still selling the giant 4 pack. I got Swag (my 4th fav) from her little family pack when it was on sale at Target. The ones that I don’t have on the second tier can be hard to find too like Snowlicious (the last one in the Love ‘Em tier) and all the Super Sonics come in a giant four pack so you’ll have to buy them separately but you can wait cause they are selling them separately in the future.

But there so many cool ones with different designs and themes that I’m sure you can find one you personally like.

Thank you so very much to everyone that’s purchased something through my affiliate links! I was able to order both Candylicious and Dazzle with my earnings.

Absolutely love Candylicious’s colors and she’s instantly my favorite out of all the ones I have. Not so much her outfit. You can see here, it doesn’t fit exactly (oops), and I’m not really into the psuedo-bondage look she has going on. The skirt also doesn’t fit. It’s much too tight and can barely close in the back. And her under-shirt is wrinkly and weird fitting. The leggings are great, at least.

Having been collecting dolls for some time, and still having bits and bobs from when I was a child, I know her outfit will flake apart in a few years.

She has some pretty bad box hair, but I can fix that. There were also what looked like lots of cut hairs on the pink side, but they weren’t even rooted in. They were just mixed into her rooted hair and sitting against her scalp. Easily removed.

She also has the ultra-silky, slippery nylon hair, so her pigtails are perpetually sliding out of the hair ties. It’s difficult to keep her hair tidy.

It kind of defeats the purpose to have the bust form on the OUTSIDE of the shirt...

I’d waffled on buying Candylicious for months, and what finally pushed me over the tipping point was a little girl at Target yelling about Candylicious having NumNom earrings.

The shoes are the best part.

Candylicious isn’t designed to go with Dazzle’s blacklight, but I lit her up anyway. This is NOT Dazzle’s little blacklight, though. I took the blacklight photos in this review with my UV resin curing lamp.

That mistake in her lipstick isn’t as easy to see in normal light.

I ended up removing the ruffled caplet and putting it in her hair. I’ve also ordered a Licca/Blythe sized dress off of eBay to see how it fits and if she looks good in a cuter style.

Dazzle is very similar to Neonlicious. I may also try swapping some of their outfit parts between them and see what I can come up with.

I do feel like the quality is starting to decline in LOL OMGs. Dazzle’s top doesn’t quite fit, either. Both Dazzle and Candylicious have smudgy lipstick. My older OMGs (Snowlicious, Neonlicious, and Crystal) have well fitting clothes and crisp faceups.

Also kind of wish Crystal came with another outfit, so I’d have something matchy to put Neonlicious in. I do like that the skirt is reversible.

First Impressions: L.O.L.  O.M.G. Royal Bee

A few months ago I got a couple of OMG dolls, returned one after leaving it unopened for a couple of months, and kept the one I had wanted the most. I think I have 5 regular LOLS: Foxy, Pop Heart (Under Wraps), Snow Bunny (Hair Goals), Smarty Pants (Boys), and M.C. Swag (Furniture set). Since fashion dolls tend to be my favorite type of toy, I had to try one OMG. You can also spy my collector Bratz boy in the background. The sizing is so similar, I wonder if these were meant to be new Bratz doll bodies, but they decided to make LOL fashion dolls instead.

Generally, I think the faces on these dolls are super cute. I think their outfits are detailed and varied. I love their earrings and some of their jewelry. I appreciate that they include stands. Royal Bee is my favorite because of her afro and skin-tone. I pinned her hair down to cover her buns and I think she looks even better that way. Her purse is okay, and the brush isn’t necessary. The hat box, shoe box, and garment bags are a cute idea to unbox her clothing and accessories, especially since LOLs are all about the unboxing experience. It’s not necessary for me though. I’d be fine with the doll fully dressed and everything visible. I bought this doll in Canada and took her home to the USA, and I got rid of her box to save space, but I like that it included a mirror.

One thing about the doll did bother me though, I broke her underwear strap, so now she is avoiding a nip-slip situation. One day I’ll see if I can sew it back on. I think having that happen sort of ruined the experience for me. I don’t like her as much as I wanted to, even though there are a lot of positives. I wish they would make fashions for them because I’d love to dress her up, but I would have to buy the full dolls or dig around for old doll clothes that are close to her size. I’m not overwhelmed with joy over this doll, but I could still see myself getting another one.

In fact, before I finally decided to get Royal Bee I considered getting Snowlicious who was up for pre-order at the time. I noticed right away that she looked like Lalaloopsy Girls Mittens combined with some of those winter Bratz.

I knew MGA reused ideas in their lines, or maybe they are supposed to be Easter Eggs, but I just found out that the new Candylicious doll has a picture of Crumbs Sugar Cookie in her box and wears Num Nom earrings. I bet she’d look cute in a lolita style dress and some bunny ears or something.

Her and her sister also remind me of Scoops Waffle Cone except with pale blue-ish hair instead of brown hair. Bon Bon’s playset even comes with an ice cream cart. I may have to get her or the OMG doll. We’ll see.

OMG Winter Disco Doll, Dollie invites her BFF Snowlicious, Cosmic Nova, and 24k DJ over to her house after school. This OMG LOL Doll video also features Swag, Royal Bee, Neonlicious, and Lady Diva as well! Snowlicious, Cosmic Nova, and 24k DJ are shocked to find that Dollie's bedroom is full of teddy bear dolls, barbie dolls, and baby dolls. Dollie sings the Teddy Bear Doll song to her friends. The next day at school, the rumors of Dollie having so many dolls are spreading fast so Dollie gets made fun of by her friends. She throws away ALL of her dolls. Dollface thinks her omg winter disco big sister is making a huge mistake. Dollie throws away all her dolls, but it only makes her more sad. Crystal Star takes a puppet doll and tries to cheer her up. Later her friends, 24k DJ, Snowlicious, and OMG Cosmic Nova buy Dollie some new dolls, and sing the Doll song together with her. They play with dolls together and make up. Dollie forgives her friends after they apologize and try to make it up to her.

I'm disappointed they made 24k DJ part of the 2nd wave bc her color pallete is near identical to royal bee, & the fact that they gave her afro puffs too even tho the original dj's hair looks nothing like that just makes me think they don't know what else to do with afro hair. It doesn't help that they're each the darkest skinned doll in their waves. I literally went thru all the dark-dark tots dolls on the website to see if this is a line-wide problem, but they're actually doing a really good job of diversifying their dark-dark chara designs imo (the early waves weren't great but they've gotten better over time). I really think they should've chosen a different dark-dark chara for this wave & saved DJ for a later release. Since I already have royal bee I'm just gonna pass on 24k DJ, & I think a lot of other (non-completionist) collectors & especially parents, are gonna do the same

Snowlicious grew on me. Mostly I love her hair, & her knit thermal under layer is cute. Plus she comes with the coat AND a second top, & her accessories are cute. But I kinda wish they'd gone with brrr bb instead just bc I like brrr bb more. They're both medium-brown skinned & snow themed, but brrr bb has a brighter color pallete. Plus brrr bb already has braided hair so it matches better than snow angel's buns

Overall I def gotta have cosmic nova (SPACE COWGIRL YEEEEEHAAAAWW). I might get snowlicious. Pass on the other 2

So the necklaces now come sculpted so they lay across the doll's chest properly instead of poking out weird, which was a problem in the 1st wave

Still no way to hang the clothes inside the dressing room, in the winter disco wave at least. The amazing surprise multipack omgs come in hard plastic dressing rooms that do include bars to hang things from

I really really REALLY appreciate that mga included the original tot dolls with their corresponding omgs for this wave

So it looks like MGA is listening to feedback about this line & making changes p quickly. I'm thinking the reason the winter disco dolls don't have bars in their closets is bc that's where all their accessories get packaged so there's not really space to put a bar without risking it being broken in transit, whereas the amazing surprise omgs have their stuff packed throughout the giant box rather than inside their closets, so there's less risk of anything getting smushed

sorry if youre posted about it already but have you seen the next wave of LOLOMG dolls?? cookieswirlc did a review of all of them/theyve been around instagram and im honestly so excited but also praying for my wallet, literally every individual one is stunning... and i think my favorites are in massive family packs.... -_-

LOL my reply to this disappeared for some reason, let’s try again!Anyway I’ve actually been mentally preparing my bank account for this since before I knew what they looked like LOL, they did not disappoint in the slightest!Snowlicious is my favorite by far, I love her soooooo much, with Nova coming in second (tho I HATE tinsel hair); the detailing on this collection is amazing, the real fur, the ridiculous amount of separate pieces on each doll (Even Nova���s little spurs are separate!), the jewelry, DJ’s real metal chains, all of the long thick luxurious hair and glitter makeup OOF I need them.Downtown Girl from the Amazing Surprise is probably one of my favorite OMGs to come out so far, I love everything about her design and clothing, Uptown girl is lovely too and she has little hair clips and her underwear is amazing with the stockings and socks. I’m definitely buying all of them as soon as they come out here, or on Amazon, whichever comes first! Wave 1 was already so incredible and they really went all out for this line too. The only one I’m not wowed by is the LE doll, she’s beautiful and highly detailed but I’m not in love with her. Her stand is an absolute MONUMENT and beautiful, but I don’t have space for that so I’d need a regular OMG stand for display. Will prob still get her tho tbh
