Note
The whole thing is that they wish Elia had half what Lyanna did.
hey anon!
i think some elia stans definitely feel resentful that lyanna gets more characterization and is one of the central ‘haunting the narrative’ characters.
i’m sure they wish they had more characterization to work with, but i don’t see this as a bad thing (don’t we all want to know more about our favs?). i also think elia will get more characterization in the next books (if they come out), and we’ll learn more about the events of the rebellion, so we won’t have to deal with a lot of the more nasty behavior from that side of the fandom.
on that note, my actual issue with elia stans is how they remain untrue to the little known info we have about certain characters and/or act like their headcanons or fanon takes are what happened in the text. sometimes these stans will even act like the moral police (though i myself am guilty of doing this as well), or will use other characters they don’t care about as strawmen against people who disagree.
