ymir from shingeki no kyojin (with a special mention to annie). we don’t get to see much of her actually but i just love the dichotomy between what she tells people to do and what she actually does. great, nuanced character.

carmen farooq-lane from call down the hawk (i was doubting between her and jordan but i just think so very much like farooq-lane!)

toph from avatar: the last airbender. she’s just great.

liesel meminger from the book thief (i liked her character better in the book than the movie actually so book-version liesel. special mention to death, which is a female word in my mother tongue!)

sybil branson from downton abbey. i just cry every time i rewatch 3.05

gauri from lagaan. omg i just love her

haibara ai from detective conan. she’s the character with the most dignity in a series in which being cool is what most of the cast is about. 

shinomiya kaguya from kaguya-sama: love is war. omg she’s hilarious.

candace flynn from phineas and ferb. i was just exactly like her when i was 15

ahiru from princess tutu. she just tries so hard omg this was supposed to be a fun, light kids show but! suddenly! i was rooting for her!! and she wants to be friends with rue!!! she’s like the kindest person ever (i was doubting between including ahiru and giselle from the actual ballet giselle but i don’t think there’s a giselle fandom?? i’m such a nerd yes)
