And that’s true! The fact that he dislikes authority had always appeared so strange yet intriguing to me, as you also said he is a figure of authority himself. My headcanon is that he doesn’t like the authority that would be forced on him, like a superior who doesn’t deserve their position and keeps abusing their inferiors. It’s very clear that he respects Fukuzawa, and I’m sure he respects himself in this area too so he wouldn’t feel bad about contributing to the authority, though I mean, how would it be possible to not respect such a man 😖

SHXJSN it’s so true 😭 instead of resolving things, Asagiri-sensei just added him more trauma, how joyful. I just want to see his problems being taken care of! I want them to be discovered, be explored, I want him to be the vulnerable one but not in the context of getting more trauma 😭 I swear to God when your comfort character resolves things it feels as if you yourself resolved stuff inside you, it feels so good. Yes omg, he’d truly be the most *ideal* teacher to deal with that type of students. He’d be stern, he wouldn’t let his ‘teacher superiority’ fall down, but he wouldn’t be mean either. He’s one of those teachers who shows his softer side as he spends more and more time with the class and that you respect and love at the same time >< (and omg! I had never heard that show, but it sounds so interesting! I’ll definitely check it out 🤭)
