#omg I got really nice feedback from a professor on a paper today though she was really hyping up my writing and it was so nice of her 😭

I am not that sensitive I just need my employers to always tell me in no uncertain terms that I am doing so very especially well and they do not hate me and I am not a disappointment, perhaps even an asset. I require positive feedback semi regularly or I will assume that you hate me and want me dead, thank you for understanding.

I'm really tired. I had plans tonight but it doesn’t look like its happening cause I cant pull myself together. Whatever. Its fine.

Todays been really long. I slept okay last night. Still woke up in the middle of the night but that app with the soothing voice put me right back to sleep. Which is pretty sweet. It was very strange watching the snow last night, and it was still there when I woke up. Like a good inch or 2. Wild. I got up and showered and dressed. I had breakfast and Sam texted me that she was free to meet up whenever. I wanted to go to the tote making event and the book sale at the library. So I left here around 1030 to go to the studio and print out my paper.

Sam was there already. But she was on the phone and waiting for food to be delivered. So while I waited for her I worked on moving some dioramas to the stage and cutting the holes for the lights. I got a good 20 over to the stage once she was ready. Sherry stopped us and gave me a piece of cheese cake. I was very happy about that.

We got to the book sale and I found a good amount of books. A few I just thought were funny. They do a 50% off sale for students so I only spent $10 and I had that in cash so I was pleased. Then we went to make totebags! I wanted mine to be all black with glitter details. Everyone said it was very on brand. I sort of wish that the rat was a bat but I like the rat still. it’s a nice sturdy bag too which I'm pleased with. And all my new books fit in it nicely.

I liked Michaela’s bag too which I pictured above. But there were a lot of really great designs and it was a lot of fun. They even had free tater tots and soda.

After Sam finished with her bag we headed to the back of the library to work on our papers. It was slow going at first. My paper is 50 pages and hers was 35. And we kept getting distracted. It took us almost 3 hours but we got through the whole shebang. A few people came and said hi to us. It was a lot of editing, talking, checking, clarifying. It became clear pretty fast what the issues Sam’s been having. Her paper was interesting but very much a long artist statement. Mine is much more a research paper. I was confused though because she said she didn’t think that’s what it was supposed to be, and that no one said that, but that her mentor kept saying she's not doing enough research? I don’t know it was odd. But I really appreciated her feedback and the typos I missed.

I finished editing her paper about a half hour before her. So while she worked on finishing up I walked over to the shop to talk to Don. He looked really happy today so that was nice. We talked about my piece and paper and it was all good. Michaela had her pour but I missed it because I was editing so I was slightly disappointed but that’s okay. I stopped at the free shelf and found a new trashcan for my bathroom. Kehayr was there and we talked about jobs and stuff. He’s a nice guy I'm glad were friends.

After Sam finished editing we talked about everything for a bit and then headed back to the studios. I just got my bike and headed home form there though. I only stayed home for a few minutes though. I grabbed my laptop and went to catch the bus. I went to the chipotle in uptown for dinner.

While I ate I worked on the edits. I didn’t agree with everything but there was some good catches in there. Some stuff I meant to take out but somehow forgot. It was good though, the food was good too.

While I was there though I got a call asking me to do a market research thing and I said yes but now I feel unsure about it. It said it was about my insurance but I sort of feel like it’s a scam. I'm going to try to call my insurance tomorrow to see if its legit.

I walked to the buffalo exchange from there because the bus was taking to long. I found some great shoes to wear for graduation. They are wildly comfortable wedge heels and are exactly what I wanted and were cheap! I'm thrilled. I'm going to wait to get a dress for both graduation and my thesis reception until Jess is here because I think it will be fun to do that together.

I walked to far to catch a bus and got home. I took a bath and washed my hair and got caught up on one of my favorite podcasts. And now I'm just chilling in my chair. Tomorrow I have work, I need to take some detail shots of my thesis, and then the paper is due! Okay not completely but its our final draft to the LA professors. So its pretty crazy. I graduate in a month!! Omg.

Okay I cant think of that to hard. I'm going to read for a while and go to sleep. I hope you all have a good night. Stay safe.
