While I work on my next page, I thought I’d share number 2 of a series of landscape drawings I did for Nultien Kleding. Nultien is an apparel and gift company located in Rotterdam, it’s operated by some real cool people who absolutely love their city. This illustration is my favorite of the series as I had so much fun drawing all the little windows and balconies. The central focus is the dome like Markthal, a hybrid of apartments and eateries that serve foods from around the world. It’s surrounded by some famous structures that folks may have seen before.There’s so much history and art behind the architecture you see, it’s like each building is a character. Happy Thanksgiving! I had planned to finish this fall illustration in time for today, but other responsibilities got in the way. This is my first illustration using a Pentel 500 series pencil and I love it! It helps me add more detail and holds steady to my grip....Can't wait to draw more. Has anyone been this excited after watching a movie? For me, it was when I watched Mad Max: Fury Road....... a long time ago. Theatrical film releases seem to be a 2-hour advertisement for the Blu-Ray release just months away......if not, then why are the best parts of the film in the disc's extras?
