We saw other incredible pieces of Lake Placid Olympic history, from the Olympic cauldron from the opening ceremony of the 1980 games, to the ski jumps and the ice rink where Team U.S.A. won against the Russians in Men’s Ice Hockey. Lake Placid is a beautiful town that I had a hard time saying ‘goodbye’ to this weekend.
