#nie mingjue#nie huaisang#niecest#i always think about this little scenario#mingjue regaining his consciousness and getting to watch huaisang growing old; older than he and their father ever got to be#maybe older than every nie sect leader before them#and being happy to be able to witness that#and to be by his side until the very end#it doesn't need to be niecest; it totally works with their canon dynamics#but i did have the little 'couple growing old together' image in my head when i painted this so it is niecest#even if mingjue won't change#which is also quite romantic i think#old man huaisang should stop and stare at his permanently 30yo brother and go feel all sorts of things
