Apparently I don’t have rubbing alcohol in my house so I had to clean out a cat bite with my ten dollarest bourbon and the sensory experience violently dragged me back to age 19
#one moot has seen my liquor cabinet and can attest it’s mostly whiskey of various price points#old crow is the most drinkable cheap bourbon#but its secondary purpose is in fact for cleaning#also i know it’s no longer recommended to use alcohol on open wounds#because it irritates the skin and slows down healing#but deep animal scratches and bites are an exception#they leave a lot of bacteria deep in your skin#and i would prefer not to get an infection
